I swear every review that I do is for Peruvian Restaurants!!! I can't help it because it is the best food in the world!!! I think we spent about $70 and 1,200 Pesos which is a lot when it comes to food in Mexico but, it was fantastic!!! There was three of us that went to dinner and we tried so many dishes!!! The Pasta was awesome and flavorful and the most tender steak and flavorful sauce and the same with the Lomo Saltado!!! Ceviche is my favorite and I could have just drank the juice it was the most flavorful!!! I could have gotten two whole Leche de Tigre to myself just because of the juice!!! I have had Picarones at a couple different places and this was by far the best!!! I have never had the Lucuma Mousse and they need that as a staple in ALL Peruvian places!!! We will defiantly be going back when we go to Mexico!!! read more

Rip Off Alert 95 pesos for a beer? The normal price in Mexico City is usually 20 to 45 pesos. When we got our bill we found that we had been charged 475 pesos for a total of five beers. This is as much as our food bill, and we had a lot of food and not very much beer. We asked to see the menu and found out that the price for Cusco beer had been scratched out. The waiter told us the new menus we're coming soon and the price would soon be higher. You have to be kidding me. No price on the menu? One beer cost almost as much as a giant plate of paella? There were 10 other beers on the menu with an average price of 35 pesos. So where does 95 pesos come from? I feel badly to give only one star, but at the very minimum if your beer prices are crazy they should be on the menu and not scratched out with a ball point pen. Every other beer on the menu has a price, only the one they give us doesn't have a price? And when we ask for "a beer" this is what they give us? And when we ask for the drink menu this one is scratched out and all the other beers are 35 pesos? This is just too fishy. It's too bad because this place really has excellent food. Getting cheated on the bill took all the fun out of it. Please encourage honest business practices by staying away. As customers this is the only way we have to fight back. Update: I checked with a Mexican friend and found that this is illegal. All prices should be clearly stated in the menu. read more

While it seems like any other ordinary front, the details of Asia Peru - SUPERB. From the very beginning, from a recommendation of a colleague, the root vegetable chips with homemade sauce, absolutely inviting and I could not stop eating - she was right. From some of the freshest dishes of shrimp, fish, and seafood to mouth watering choices of thick soups I chose a chicken, mushroom, thickened sauce platter with a side of rice. Then as a suggestion from the host a dessert of four different chocolates, (each one the size of say two fingers and out of four pieces, I could only get through THREE, the fourth impossible - I was STUFFED!) I can't remember the time I thought I would not be able to make it home due to being so incredibly full, but this was one, add to this the deliciousness of the experience, the rapid service of the staff, and the contributions from waiters, hosts, and all that walked by about choices? - I loved this place. My wife is Peruvian and loved it. Peruvian food is very different in many areas of Peru but Asia Peru is a favorite. We went twice while in Mexico City. Patio dining is GREAT. Food is great. Atmosphere is great. read more

Very good food and price but terrible service. Hope the owners fix this, otherwise we will not be back. We ordered a Chaufa rice for a Vegetarian person and it came after the 1st, and the main disk for all the others. We had to keep asking for it..
