OMFiestaware!! I have been here SO MANY times throughout my life I can't even comprehend why I've…read morenever reviewed. I'm an insane collector and have been for decades. I may or may not have place settings for twenty-seven people. I never tire of the tent sales, factory tours, seconds room, main room, and so on. I haven't met a piece of Fiestaware I don't like. The folks who work here are so genuine, like the product they put out. A true family of employees with the same love and obsession as people like me. Homer Laughlin introduced Fiestaware in 1936 and I even have pieces that were my grandmother's. Annually they come out with a new color and I look forward to it every year. All pieces are made here in the factory in this small WV town about an hour from Pittsburgh. The dishes and accessories are durable and last decades. Pieces made between 1936-1972 were made with a radioactive red glaze (worth a fortune now for mad collectors like me). Fear not, the modern-day pieces are lead free. I'm an absolute maniac for Fiestaware and Homer Laughlin (actually have items from their other lines as well). Love love love love. Fiesta Forever!!

We were quickly greeted by one of the resident cats, Mike, who also helped show us around the store. The aisles were plenty wide to comfortably walk through, the shelves were full, and the prices seemed fair. This is a hobby job for the owners, on top of "regular" 9-5 jobs and you can tell they truly have a passion for antiques. I'd recommend stopping in, if in the area.

Everything is spaced out so no one is on top of each other and the variety is unmatched. The staff working at the front counter are always friendly and helpful. They're willing to call dealers to negotiate on some items and they have cubbies up front to hold your merchandise while you continue to shop. Most vendors prices are more than fair. We always leave with something! Parking is out front on the street and they have two individual bathrooms inside for customers.

I was able to find shoes at the Shoe Depot and an outfit at Maurices and jeans at Rue21 so I was happy about that. This probably wouldn't be my first choice. The woman working the day we visited was very friendly? quick to provide assistance, but also not up your butt while you shopped around. The old building was surprisingly cool on this hot day. It's not hard to find given the proximity to the other, but if you are looking on maps right about now, I think it comes up as a hair supply store or something along those lines. So the change over must of happened recently. When you walk in it is not what you would expect. I expected that it would be a much larger space but turns out what you see in the window is what you get when you enter. Not saying you can't find a lot of good finds in here, but don't expect a huge selection. Prices are what you would expect. The owners are very nice in here and cooperative. The listed price is not always the going price. They are also available to look for a piece you are interested in if you can't find it anywhere. Definitely worth a stop if you are already looking for antiques in the area.
