RECODES completed a full bathroom remodel for us, including converting a tub into a shower and…read moreinstalling all new fixtures. I was told the work came with a two-year warranty. However, about six months later, I began noticing brown water and sludge seeping up from the bottom of the shower curb onto the bathroom floor. I contacted RECODES, and they came out to inspect the issue. They even removed and reinstalled the toilet to rule out a leak. After I had an independent plumber verify that the toilet was not the source of the problem, RECODES returned a second time and simply recaulked the shower with a bluish-tinted caulk. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. More recently, I had two separate remodeling professionals inspect the shower. Both concluded that the shower pan was improperly installed and that the shower floor would need to be completely torn out and replaced at an estimated cost of around $3,000. In addition to the shower issue, the project was somewhat disorganized, with numerous different workers involved throughout the process, and they left a considerable mess along the side of our house. To be fair, the stairs, railing, and balcony they built still look great. However, the bathroom floor is now damaged, and brown sludge continues to seep up through the grout lines and cracks. Given the ongoing issues and the lack of a proper resolution, I unfortunately cannot recommend RECODES.
