This visit was my chance to tell them how "active" Emory has been. She's runs around the house doing laps at 3:30 am!! I never had to buy calming chews for my other 3 girls. Emory definitely needs them!! Dr. Malone reminded me that she's just a puppy with a lot of energy. A little too much energy for Mommy when the hasn't gone off yet. Emory received 2 vaccinations. Dr. Malone said that she would be a little bit sore. She sure was. Especially when I took her out of her carrier. She slept most of the day. I gave her the follow up medication she gave me the next day. Emory showed no signs, problems or symptoms of any kind after her vaccinations or the follow up medication. At Emory's last visit she weighed 2.6 pounds. A month and a half later, at almost 4 months. She weighs 5 pounds!! Holy Cannoli!! I had to pick my jaw up off of the floor!! The breeder was wrong when he said that she would only get to be 4 pounds. I'm so incredibly happy with the care that Emory gets from everyone at Rochelle Veterinary Hospital. I wouldn't take or trust my fur babies with anyone else.

Do not use this vet, who consistently acts like we are inconveniencing him in all interactions,…read morewhether we request a farm call (which he never does or says can't happen for weeks!) or whether we bring our large animals to his clinic, which is a complete pain. He "treated" our goat for ringworm, and when it wasn't getting better, and I called the office to get another appointment, the assistant said she'd call back -- and never did. So I called again -- and same deal. She said she'd call back, and never did. You'd almost think they weren't running a business that relied on customers and good customer service! Oh wait ... And when I called to get our animals records, to give to our new vet who was responsive and helpful from word go, the office at first said they'd send them, then they didn't. When I called again, they only sent partial records. I don't want to have to make multiple calls to follow up on simple requests that should be executed with ease as part of a basic job description. I've got enough to do without micromanaging people who aren't doing their jobs. Go somewhere else!!!!

My dog was brought here for observation after a bite incident. He went in looking to be in good…read morehealth. On his 3 day there out of 10 I called to see how he was and was told that he was fine. The night before he was due to be collected I received a call stating that he had a skin and ear infection, they asked if I would like them to treat that? I was suspicious so declined their offer. The vets were adamant he had it when he arrived but when I asked why I wasn't notified or why they waited until tue night before to treat him, the best answer that I could get was "he was here for a bite observation ". I followed up with an email and was contacted 3 days later and spoke to an unhelpful front desk person first and then a defensive and rude vet. They both used the phrase "it is what it is" repeatedly. In the end the claim they did treat him but and reluctantly admitted they had failings in their communication. This only came after accusing me of leaving "nasty" emails and reviews.
