This is a pretty decent course, reasonable value and available to all. They did require gold shoes…read morewhen i went last, so you can forget looking fashionable for the afternoon :-) Its a well-kept course in a large, beautiful park. However, that can make it a little trickier to get to, and bear in mind any taxi rides if you are tempted by the decent value green fees. I often use a course in Balham which is more easily accessible, but the quality of this course means i will probably be back again. All in all, I like the idea and it's great fun but waiting around that long, alongside the prices of drinks (pretty much London prices) such as 6.20 or so for a pint, plus terrible food, isn't s great experience. *Updated review* We went back as some friends were down and it was an even worse experience and we'll never be back. Pushy service which we then noticed service charges - it's not a posh upscale restaurant, how can you justify a service charge? The food again was average to bad, spicy Mac and cheese was awful and not spicy, tater tots were lukewarm and soggy, wings were fine but not listed as spicy (they are slightly), the burger my friend got was poor and dry. To add to this, they didn't clean and take away plates and glasses for over an hour. We then proceeded to wait 4 and a half hours before getting into a lane, along the way, we got to 1 at in the queue where we waited 45 minutes and saw numerous people go ahead who were further back in the queue... All because they had kids. I don't think breaking the rules because people choose to bring kids down late on a Saturday is very fair on the people who've been there since before 4pm, it was 8.30pm at this point. I was told (which I knew) if you want to get in quicker, book a slot, but that comes at a cost of £39.99, and that doesn't include any games, food or drinks. I then had security speak with me as I was getting agitated and say, well I'm here to 3AM, after I said we'd been there since before 4pm. Honestly, that's not a great response and insulting. You chose this job, not me, it's not my problem you're there until 3am, if you're unhappy, change jobs? Literally, it's nothing like this at the one I'm Las Vegas which I've visited numerous times now. I would avoid this place like the plague, unless you like wasting money and valuable hours of your life. We'll never be back.

However there are some downsides which leads me to give Topgolf only three stars: - the wait: we came on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait 4 1/2 hours. 4 and a half hours!!! Since we pre-paid our session and there was a sports-bar showing football, we waited but really... - the food: the menu looks super attractive since I am a big fan of traditional American sports bar food (wings, burgers, nachos). However, all the dishes we had were mediocre at best. Even something simple as loaded nachos were just meh. - the service: the service in their bar was extremely slow, I guess we had plenty of time but the staff was also unaware of the menu. I asked for a Peroni beer and even pointing at it on the menu was not sufficient for the waitress, she asked me to spell it for her sjeesh. So bottomline, the main attraction: the driving range is super fun and good entertainment but the bar is below par (pun intended hehe).

Well, ok, you're hitting a ball at a screen so not walking too far, but at least you're standing up and moving your arms... However, it's not easy. I've not played golf much and this activity requires some level of technique above 'aim and hit'. For a start, you have real clubs so you have to know what the benefit of each number is. Secondly, if you're not very good like me, then your ball will either go into a lake, a sandpit or nothing at all and you will get more shots. This means the embarrassment lasts longer as you take more and more shots to achieve the same distance that your better playing friend hit in one. I also liked the central location as it's inside High Street Kensington Tube station. There's a full bar inside so you can drink while you play, hoping it might relax you into being a better player. Low marks come from the fact that it's more expensive than bowling (£50 per simulator per hour at weekends). For that price, I'd rather bowl as you can get away with throwing hard and a bit of luck, whereas Urban Golf is more technical.

The staff here are amazingly helpful and friendly. We called an hour or so before we wanted a slot and the woman at the front desk instantly set us up with a tee-off time even though they were pretty busy and it was last minute. She said people normally let them know well in advance of renting golf clubs as well, but she was incredibly accommodating. Our whole 3.5 hour experience here cost around 20 quid each, including renting half set of golf clubs each. An amazing deal for a golf course with really experienced members. Literally, Tiger Woods has nothing on a couple people we saw. Incredible. Several groups asked very politely to skip ahead of us which was fine as they all did it in like a shot and it took a few minutes wait. I know we slowed some people down but Cheshunt is very good with beginners and the members seem patient, all things considered. I bet they just wanted to finish up and head to the bar...yes, there is a bar. The bar does not have a large selection but it does large portions of chips and cold beer which we treated ourselves to after. Your hands will be slightly bruised from the club, your shoulders will hurt from carrying the bag, and you will be in awe of how much better everyone is but it will be so worth it! I will be coming back!

A large array of condiments are available and pick your own from the sachets near the cutlery Overall good value for money and ok for a quick snack. Also has a great outdoor area which looks out onto the golf course, and they allow dogs as long as you go around the back of the building to the outdoor seating area and not through the club. At doors go to the left and it will take you all the way around to the back of the clubhouse

This is a really nice golf club. It has a big clubhouse with good facilities, a gym and driving…read morerange. The golf course is quite long and has some very nice holes on it. Being open it is windy. Even on a warm day it is good to protect from wind. Depending on the quality of your local course this will either look good and feel like quality, or you will be a bit disappointed with the quality of grass on the fairways and the speed of the greens.

A flat park, with lush green fields, perfect for ball games, flying model airplanes, picnics in summer etc There is a large lake with many ducks who just love to be fed your scraps of bread! Great for the kids There are several intersecting paths for leisurely afternoon strolls, a football club, tennis club, and even a clubhouse cafe for a lazy afternoon of tea and cake. The thing I like about this park is that it isn't really big enough to get lost in, and you can see where you are (for bearings) at all times, because it's flat, unlike Wimbledon Common. Just make sure you don't go off track and end up on the adjoining golf course! There is no way out once you find yourself in and the golf club members don't take too kindly to 'Sunday walkers' getting in!
