Morgan with Ashley Weddings was amazing. We had one month to plan a wedding reception and Morgan was crucial. In retrospect, we don't know how we could have had our event without her, and we absolutely would not want to. We felt unsure about hiring a coordinator (isn't that just a luxury for wealthy fancy people?), but we are SO GLAD we did. If you're on the fence, book her. We opted for the day of package and I still question whether we paid enough for all she did, from helping us conceptualize the event, to structuring our work so that we could not only identify all the necessary details but also work through them all, to silently and seamlessly taking care of mountains of work on the day of, Morgan was amazing. She received our deliveries, helped with picking up various items we needed, coordinated with vendors and found us great people to work with just a month before our date. We chose our flowers, linens, and colors and on the day of, Morgan put it all together to make it GORgeous. We ordered flowers from Sam's club and Morgan brought them to the venue and arranged them beautifully. She did an INCREDIBLE job with the decorating. Everything was organized, inviting and beautiful. She also did a great job of monitoring the timeline for the event - what a huge relief to be able to just enjoy the day, checking in with Morgan for when it was time for transitions. Morgan is absolutely amazing. I was engaged for over 2 years and so many ideas floating around in my head but Morgan helped me pick the things most important and made my vision a reality. For anyone getting married in the Columbus/Bloomington area I would use Morgan over anyone else. Every time I booked a vendor and said Morgan was my coordinator they were so happy and such positive things to say. I had one vendor say they wished they only worked with Morgan's clients and another vendor said if they were to get married again they would want Morgan as their coordinator. Morgan was always willing to work around my schedule and I felt she went above and beyond her duties to me as I only booked her as our day of coordinator. Morgan also did the floral arrangements for ceremony and reception and they were drop dead gorgeous. If I were the jealous type I would be upset about how much attention the flowers received on my wedding day. Morgan provided reception coordination for my daughter and son-in-law for their early fall state park wedding. They had many family and friends involved in setting up their event, but since neither the bride and groom or any family members lived locally, Morgan's services were essential to pulling everything together on the Day Of. Morgan is professional and responsive and is an excellent listener. To say she goes above and beyond what would be expected is an understatement. Her team was so helpful in setting up the reception and accomplishing the last minute tasks that made everything ready for the guests when they arrived from the ceremony. Upon first meeting Morgan, it was evident that she really had it together. However, we hired her for her "full service" package, and my husband and I (along with his parents who helped us with the majority of the wedding planning process) were slightly disappointed on the day of the wedding. There were lots of small details that were missed, and she had worked a wedding the night before which in my opinion left her off her game the next day for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Morgan was very helpful, and answered my questions. She gave us vendor recommendations, coordinated times for vendors to arrive etc. The only time that I was truly frustrated and felt like we were not given the service that we had paid for was on the actual wedding weekend. The welcome bags were not at the hotels before some of our guests arrived. Our wedding day timeline was not kept on schedule and I hardly saw Morgan for the majority of the day. The photographer ended up having to iron my sash for my dress because nobody else was available to do it. On the itinerary it said we would have time to go back to the hotel room after taking photos before the ceremony, but we ended up not being able to go back and I forgot my garter and several other items. One of my bridesmaids ended up having to leave the reception to help Morgan look for the garter. Our photos were a complete disaster because we had no directions and our poor photographer was basically left directing us instead of being able to do her job, which was to take beautiful photos. Half of our wedding party went into a bar DURING our photos because nobody was there to help direct people where they were supposed to be and when! We got zero pictures with extended family because they were not instructed to stay after the ceremony. The bottom of my dress got trashed while walking around because nobody knew how to bustle it. When we arrived at the reception there were a large amount of vases that did not have flowers in them, and they were not fixed until after I pointed them out. My $40 custom cake topper was not on our cake the entire night. I realize that these are all small things, but I feel like when you spend a large sum of money for the best service, you are allowed to expect the best service. Overall, my wedding was beautiful and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Morgan's help. However, I do wish that her focus that weekend was solely on my wedding instead of on two, and that some of those smaller details were not forgotten. read more

If you're looking at reviews, you've probably already figured out that Morgan is The. Best. Go ahead and hire her now. We were on a budget, but I will never regret hiring Morgan as a day-of coordinator. She was very flexible and put together a package for us that gave us what we needed but not what we didn't. Even though she was just doing day-of coordination, Morgan always went above and beyond. We were able to have multiple in-person and video/phone conversations with her, and she always brought up great points that helped us make the important decisions and stay on track. She was always around during the wedding weekend. As a bride, you often hear compliments on the food, or the venue, or the cake. I have never heard a compliment for the coordinator. But Morgan was so excellent that our guests really did notice and comment on how smoothly everything went. Honestly, I didn't expect that my wedding day would look like it did in my head, but because of Morgan, it truly did. I would have paid her double what it cost because she's totally worth it. read more

Morgan was wonderful! My daughter (the bride) and I are both very detail oriented. But with Morgan, we were able to trust her and let her take care of everything, preventing much stress and anxiety and letting us just relax and enjoy the day while Morgan took care of everything, gracefully! She handled difficult situations and/or vendors easily. Every vendor we worked with raved about her and said they loved working with her, and we now see why. Her services were a great value-- We hired her for day of wedding coordination, but in reality, she met with us several times, answered endless obsessive questions via email, recommended vendors and ideas, and worked with vendors the day off. She set everything up before the wedding and took everything down afterwards, so we could just enjoy the before wedding prep and after wedding party. Even those who initially thought we shouldn't hire someone (e.g., father of the bride and groom) eventually said, "Morgan was worth every penny!". I can't stress how much my daughter and I were initially worried about letting anyone else be "in charge" and how much we grew to trust Morgan and what a great job she did. With her working for us, we literally didn't have to worry about anything that day but rather could focus on having fun and enjoying the day and our guests! Highly, highly recommend her! read more
