For some reason, I decided to make multiple purchases from Ashley for my new apartment, and what a mistake that was. My nightstand from my online order got delivered damaged, so I had to wait 45 minutes to speak to a representative for that. That's the least of my concerns. I ordered a black sofa and didn't realize my receipt said cobblestone despite being reassured by the salesperson that I'm getting black. The sofa that was delivered was a sage green. I ended up signing for it and trying to make it work, but I decided the next day I don't want it. I went back to the store and they sent me back and forth with the customer service phone line. Customer support is the most disorganized and rudest "support" possible. They basically told me there's nothing they can do despite it being their mistake. I wanted an even exchange and they refused and essentially made me feel incompetent and helpless. Never again. read more

If I could give a -50 for a score I would. I have had the most disgusting experience with furniture from this company. DO NOT BUY from this place. I bought a leather couch and love seat from the store on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers and the furniture was delivered on May 21 last year (2018). There was a tear under the love seat pillow. I sent pictures to them and a technician came out to repair. Then the top pillows were sinking in and they sent a technician to put more stuffing in the pillows. Meanwhile I called to complain that the right top pillow was crooked. A technician was sent and had to take the whole backing of the love seat off and literally redo the love seat's whole back park. This was the second time the whole backing of the love seat was taken off and redone. This second time the whole upper part of the love seat had to be redone because the pillows are attached to the back of the love seat. The right pillow is still a little crooked. This was a waste of money to have purchased this defective furniture from Ashley. And do not get me started on how rude and unprofessional customer service is. I called the Corporate Office and someone there had a rep named Aubry call me. She was very good However when I last tried to call her I was told the menu had changed and I could not be connected to this person. I then received a voice message on my phone from Aubry saying that everything was fixed and that my case was closed. I could not get her back. Why this store is still in business is beyond me. There should be a lawsuit against this despicable company. They are selling poor quality furniture. They are crooks. I would never ever buy anything else from this company. Absolutely Horrendous! I am so angry right now. I placed an order with Ashley's on February 8th for a delivery of March 31st. Received a confirmation email TODAY that everything was all set. Not even 2 hours later I get a call that my bed frame will not be available until April 16 because it is back ordered. Are you kidding me?! I purposely ordered OVER A MONTH in advance to avoid this problem. And since the issue was not my fault, you would think I would be offered some kind of compensation...NOTHING. Moving is stressful enough. Notifying me 3 days before my move in date that my furniture will not arrive after is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be shopping here again. read more

wow plenty of bad reviews for ashley furn, but maybe i got lucky cause overall i was happy with my experience .i stopped by on a saturday evening before grabbing a bite nearby and shopping on central ave in yonkers during the holidays can be a hassle but not here. i was looking for a full bedroom set for my 3rd bedroom which has been used mostly for storage over the years but a family friend is coming to stay for 6 months while doing work for his company and now is a good time to finally furnish that darn room. as soon as i walked in i was greeted and got right to business with the sales rep. i wanted a queen size bed with a head board , 2 side tables , a clothes drawer with large oval mirror and a table to hold a 55 inch tv . the chap who's name i dont recall showed me more then a few options with prices and delivery dates for arrival. i must say that the place has nice stuff for the kitchen, bedroom , living room, bathroom and whatever other rooms need filled up. the quality looks good, prices are not that bad and the many different types of styles gives the consumer many options . i finally found what works for me and at 3,700 bucks i wont bitch and moan much unless its delivered damaged or my guest does not show up . ashley home store gets 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more

Don't ever buy anything here. Placed an order fora couch 3 weeks ago to be delivered on Sat 12/10. Received confirmation today by phone & email for delivery on Saturday . At 5:47 PM on Wed 12/7 I received a call leaving a message that delivery won't be till Monday 12/12. I called the store to complain, then told it couldn't be delivered till 12/20. What? Are they crazy? They claim the couch disappeared from their computer yet my money disappeared from my credit card 3 weeks ago. Shop elsewhere read more

Worst experience I ever had! Their delivery people destroyed the inside of the house! They didn't listen to me about how to get the sofa inside the door of my apartment. I'm fighting the $70 dollars they want me to pay. Ashley didn't do a thing to help me, not even an offer to try a good delivery place to try and bring the sofa back. All Ashley did was for an extra $200 they can deliver the couch in pieces then they put it together in your apartment. Meanwhile I have no couch!!! May 2019- where can i start, this place is the worse place to shop or to even feel like your money is going to a good use. the sales person Javier is as horrible sale person as it get, no customer experience and rude all he care was to make a sale for him to get his commission, once sale is finally you are on your own there is no turning back. I purchase a dinning room set and a living room set I wanted everything to arrive the same day, which of course it didn't happen. after taking off from work to spend the entire day waiting just to get piece mill (dinning room set) of my delivery. I had too take another day off which the furniture came damage and Javier and the customer service crew/team all they said was is not in there control and we are sorry, you believe that B...S... I couldn't even change the 3rd delivery day cause once again they don't control over the delivery aspect is a 3rd party company, I ended taking a 3rd day off from work. just wanted to end this nightmare of an experience. I recommend to stay way from Ashley and specially Javier he didn't have any concern. read more

My dispute was not with the store , but with the delivery. Ashley sent men to my home who were completely disrespectful! First, when the delivery men arrived they put my Cal-king size mattress on the ground and it stayed on the ground for 3-plus hours. The man who was in charge told my daughter that all of my furniture was not on the truck! when I told him I would not accept a partial delivery, he started to say very nasty things in Spanish. I have reported how nasty he was to the main store but I am going to return the mattress, because I have been in pain every night that I have slept on it. After looking at the reviews, I feel that Ashley Home store have a lot of work to do in order to please their customers! read more

Very bad experience - was buying a living room set for my son and future wife - we went in and saleswoman helped us - she was okay - we were skeptical cause we didn't need the set for another 2 months as they were not moving into their new apartment for 2 months - and of course we were assured that they would hold on to furniture until we needed it - we specifically told her if we place the order we needed it on Memorial day weekend delivery (the Saturday) and she said no problem - well of course the day before I called to confirm and they said it was not in their computer for delivery the next day - we got it delivered the next week and tables were no good - hardware was missing - we sent them back - and now we are told the tables are discontinued. That same week I bought another living room set for my other son - the sofa came damaged so we refused it - it came a week later damaged again but they sent a couch doctor to fix it - it's fixed now. I thought they were a little better store and company and that's why I suggested going there as opposed to Bob's but I have bought stuff from Bob's and never had a problem. The saga continues - we also bought extra pillows for their couch and of course they were delivered too early as we told them they weren't moving into the apartment until Memorial day so they were sent back. When they were reordered they sent the wrong ones. read more

My boyfriend and I went here to look for a bedroom set for our new apartment, first of all they leach onto you as soon as you walk through the door, and all they really are trying to do is make a sale, I told the salesman out budget and when we picked something out that we kind of liked, he came back with an estimate $1,200 over !! They consistently called us throughout that following week so I decided to go back to the store, alone and take a second look at what we had picked out, this time I was helped by a different salesperson and she had a earpiece in her ear , so the salesman who helped me last time was speaking to the lady helping me through her earpiece saying I had already been here and who knows what else because I couldn't hear but the lady turned to me and said " oh she has?" . Extremely unprofessional they don't have any idea about style or trends they are literally just there to take your money and they don't care if pieces don't work together. Needless to say I walked right out and went to thomasville up the street ,way better employees and service, and wayyyyy nicer furniture . never never purchase anything from ashley furniture ; this is the most unreliable place to purchase from ! unreliable to the highest ! all they tell you is my humble apologies over and over . today is 01/08/2019 and i made purchase since early november 2018. they brought the item with parts missing on 11/28/18 so they had to take it back then i had to wait until 12/29/2018 for delivery which came with different part missing and to date they can't deliver . all i get is flimsy excuses. i called ashley warehouse more than 50 times and always there is a wait on line no manager or supervisor is available to speak to customer and now today after a long wait they said that the part will be shipped on 1/12/19 and have to wait another 10 business days after to receive same. all you get is the same bs bs from the staff . so please do not waste your time buying from ashley ! service sucks !!!! read more
