This leaves me in a conundrum because the two men that delivered this furniture today were (assholes) lack of a better word. I should have had them take both pieces back to the Store and had them explain why they refused to help a person in a wheelchair move the other Ashley couch that is to be returned. The would not disconnect their own loveseat. They refused to help. Saying thats not there job. They never even tested the couch they brought. They were here 1minute. I asked if they could help please with one loveseat so I can get my wheelchair through. Its not my job! I said poor customer service, he just kept looking at his phone. Not at me. My purchase included a 1 year warranty. For extra protection I purchased a 5-year warranty for a couch and loveseat purchase... (I also bought other items that, together, was quite expensive.) When I noticed a problem with the cushions sinking-in and a loose arm of the loveseat I reported the issue. Ashley sent a technician to my home several times, but the problems have not resolved. I requested they replace my couch and loveseat as the ones I received are obviously faulty. They refuse to solve the problems, telling me to JUST LIVE WITH IT, and that there was nothing else they could do EVEN THOUGH MY PURCHASE INCLUDED A 1-YEAR WARRANTY and even though I purchased a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. They love to take your money, but they do not want to make sure you receive quality products. They do not care to make sure the customer is happy with purchases made. They came to my home on their own time to reconnect my TempurPedic bed that I bought 2 years ago with husband who has since past away and I had to move but had trouble getting help in hooking my bed back up so that I could use all the awsome features that came w/bed and I went a year without them because I couldn't get Ashley's or TempurPedic to help me with that. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I bought a full bedroom set, new Tempurpedic mattress, and living room furniture set and it has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with the store manager, sales person, and warehouse. Getting our furniture was hell in itself because they rescheduled delivery 8 times but also the fact that they delivered the wrong mattress and have yet to bring us the right one. Every time we call they say they will get right back to us and never do we've called about 30 times now to get this corrected. We ordered in may 2021 got our stuff in July and it's October and still have yet to correct their mistakes. Do not go here to buy furniture it's not worth the heart ache. If you need furniture go to a mom and pop shop or try online you definitely will have better luck than this awful place. Ps. They promised to give me a replacement sofa and l kept on getting a run around after a dozen phone calls. Absolutely the worst experience. We were out in Lathrop at the "outlet". Same prices, save the headache and go elsewhere! Sales lady bird dogged us and kept on insisting we fill out the top of her form before we even decided to purchase something. I kept putting her off. After the third time we just gave up and settled on just one of items we came to buy. Then the rest of the process took 1 hr and 23 minutes. They couldn't figure out their computer system. We were paying in cash so...oh follow me to this register...30 min later and we were short $200 so no problem we will use atm to complete transaction. NOPE. Cc machine wasn't working. Sales associate and cashier disappear in to a manager office. After another 20 minutes, I get up and walk over to the managers office who looks like he is going to cry. I tell him to just give us the cash back ($1500) and we will come back Monday with all the cash to complete the transaction. Manager says "WE CANT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK! We can only give you a check." DAFUQ?? Long story short he called his manager to authorize giving us our money since they couldn't complete the transaction. 2 hours total and accomplished nothing besides brushing up on the use of a few choice words! read more

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!! READ THE REVIEWS AND TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. I placed a in store order for a sectional couch on May 25th 2020. The couch was not delivered until July 11th 2020. No one had notified me that the couch was on back order. I had to go back into the store to find out my delivery date an ETA. I had to go back into the store because after calling the 1800 number no one could find my order. July 11th the couch was delivered damage. I called the 1800 number every week for 1 month trying to get a hold of someone and left over 5 voicemails with no return calls. I finally got through to someone who said someone would call be back with 24- 48 hours. That never happened. Mind you they still had trouble finding my order I had to provide them all my information to update your system. I called back the following week after no return call to be told they will send someone out to look at the couch. The guy was supposed to show up on a Friday two weeks later. He showed up on a Tuesday unannounced 3 weeks later. The replacement was supposed to be delivered October 17th per voicemail left on my phone. No one showed up October 17th or no phone call. I called 1800 number again to find out i'm supposedly scheduled for October 26th or the 30th. Today is the 26th no phone call. The chaise is damaged it's very obvious. I never inspected the couch only to now notice a tear along the seam on the armless love seat. Your customer service is beyond poor. You take peoples money and deliver poor quality products. At this point I would like to return the couch. I have not complained I have been patiently waiting for the damage couch to be replaced. This is beyond frustrating. I would like this fixed as soon as possible. This is totally not acceptable. On top of this the last 3 times I have called in customer service is calling me Melinda. We had a great shopping experience at Ashley but that is where the positives stopped. We purchased a bedroom set on June 22nd and scheduled delivery for July 14th. The process for confirming delivery was unbelievable. We missed the initial call and when we called back we were placed on hold for over an hour. Then it got worse. When they delivered the furniture they didn't set up the bed correctly and didn't have all the parts. They also delivered a broken nightstand but didn't tell us. After they left we discovered the loose bed set up and broken nightstand. My husband has repeatedly contacted the store sales person and a manager yet still we do not have the replacement nightstand or the missing pieces for the bed, even though their "technician" came to fix the bed. "The part is being mailed" to us, so sh My suggestion is to skip Ashley's when looking for furniture and go to RC Wiley in Elk Grove. They certainly couldn't provide worse customer service!!! Update:: After calling three times with no response we went to the Ashley's store to talk with the manager, Anthony. What a waste! He didn't apologize for our inconvenience or the issues. He handed us off to others to handle and they were less than polite while reordering the nightstand and parts for the bed. Finally did get the nightstand delivered and the part for bed arrived. Ordered a California King. They sent the wrong size box spring, it's too small. Now they aren't fixing it. But they got my money. Updating my review. Ashley's eventually fixed the problem with my box spring. But it was a real struggle and took repeat calls by me to push them into fixing the problem. Nothing i was told turned out to be true and it seems they always pair the wrong sized box spring with the cal king to save them money. I guess most people don't notice. I would never order anything from them again. It was such a headache and so much work on my part. Go somewhere else. Update: something is wrong with our mattress. It is NOT uniform. We wanted a new couch set for Christmas or New Years I can't remember which. We went in a week or two before and was told it's on back order till the 25 of Jan. Jan came and no phone call. I called. They just want your money, and once they've gotten it, the phoney service and their pretending to care ends. Meanwhile, a few doors down in the same shopping center, you can shop for furnitire at Cost Plus World Market. They don't have as big of a selection as Ashley, but they have some really great variety. The prices are pretty reasonable too. The most dishonest company I've ever dealt with. Purchased over 3k worth of furniture, waited a whole day for it to get delivered, only to find that that driver had returned back to the warehouse. The woman on the phone said that the driver was on stop number 11 and we were stop 12. Our window for delivery was 3-7 (which they had changed from 11-3). She informed me that the driver should be arriving within 20 minutes. 7:10pm rolls by and still no furniture. I call back and waste another 30 minutes of my life waiting for them to figure out what happened. "I'm sorry, ma'am. Something happened to his truck so he had to go back to the warehouse." You would think that the next step would be for them to deliver my furniture first thing the next morning, right? Nope! They promised our furniture would be delivered 12/27. Well, DUE TO THEIR ERROR, we would have to wait until 1/3 to get our furniture delivered. I called the store and asked if they could waive our delivery fee ($249) for the inconvenience. They told me, "My manager said that we can't because that's on the warehouse's side and not ours." So, obviously I was not havin' it at this point. We made our way to the Ashley's furniture in the trinity center. We get there and tell them we would like a refund and no longer want the furniture. Guess what the manager says? "We can go ahead and refund you the delivery fee." ISNT THAT WHAT I ASKED YOU TO DO, INITIALLY? The manager then goes on to tell us how the driver accidentally drove to Oakland and he had gone over his hours that he's allowed to drive. This was not what the woman on the phone told me. She said "you're his next stop." NOTHING BUT LIES AND A LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM--- especially from Sierra. When my boyfriend asked her why we couldn't be next on the route for delivery she said "because we have to keep going with the other deliveries and we don't want to have them backed up." BUT YOU'RE MAKING US WAIT FOR YOUR MISTAKE? Sounds like a personal problem. Sierra, had the nerve to give us attitude and say, "I don't make the rules, I just follow them." Which I get, but I recommend that SIERRA take a course on customer service. You don't walk away from customers during the middle of a transaction. I worked the customer service counter at Target for over 5 years and never once did I act the way she did. Sierra, if you're reading this, this is what Id recommend you say instead: "I'm so sorry for your frustration, but unfortunately I'm not in control of how they run the deliveries. What can I do to help you right now?" At first, we were going to keep the furniture because the manager agreed to waive the delivery fee. But when SIERRA decides that she needed to have an attitude in response to a REAL question, that was my tipping point. So now, I have to wait 30-40 days for a check to get sent to us because we paid part cash. We also have to wait 72 hours to get a call from a 909 number for part of the refund to go back on my card. I've read in the reviews where people had issues with this too. Ashley's furniture had better return my money to me with no issues, otherwise you will be hearing from me and my lawyer. read more

Went in recently to look at sofas. Nice furnishings but I absolutely hate how a sales person attaches themselves to you thru out the entire store. Plus got talked into a "1-2 minute" sales pitch for sitting on a mattress - which turned into at least 15. (This supposedly entitles the customer to a $50 gift card to use anywhere in the store) Went to Beck's in Sac the next day and I have to say it's much more relaxed. My tv stand is now manufactured defected the wood is splitting apart. And it's going on 3 months and I can't get an even exchange I'm beyond frustrated. Take your business elsewhere! Let me start by saying that the salesperson Kim that helped me was extremely nice and pleasant. But, that's the only thing that was pleasant for me. I purchased a 11 piece living room set and a 5 piece dining table set on December 3, 2019. Got it financed, walked out with the promise of a delivery date of Monday, 12/16/19 (for everything but my table set for my living due to back order). Requested to take time off of work so I can make sure that my furniture is taken care of. Kim told me I will be getting confirmation calls and/or texts 48 hours before and I realized on Friday, 12/13 that I haven't gotten a call or text confirmation for delivery. I then decided to call customer service (not the home store) and tried to get it taken care of. Customer service did nothing for me.. she actually had quite the attitude and even told me that she's not from the Northern California Area.. which uh, doesn't apply to me whatsoever. Anyways, I was transferred to the home store and was told there was nothing they could do for due to the trucks being at 100% capacity and that there was no one in the store at that particular moment that could go into the system to look into the situation further. As I waited 4 hours for a call back that I didn't receive, I decided to stop in the store to try to get this delivery date taken care of. I was helped by Sierra who called the warehouse and again, was unable to help me much but was able to get my delivery for Sunday, 12/22. Out of frustration, I agreed and left it at that expecting all my furniture to be delivered by 12/22. Of course..... on 12/22, I received a call at about 10 am stating that my dining table is unable to be delivered due to damage but everything else that I ordered should be delivered that day. Customer service I spoke to that day scheduled a new delivery date of Sunday 12/29 for my dining table to come. So here we are, Thursday 12/26 and I haven't received a confirmation so I decided to call the home store. When I spoke to Sierra, she stated that my scheduled delivery date is for 1/6/2020 and not 12/29/19 and again, the truck is at full capacity. Earliest delivery date would have been 1/2/2020 but I have a job and cannot take all this time off to sit and wait for my furniture that probably won't even get delivered on time anyway. So let's recap my timeline: 12/3: furniture ordered. Promised delivery of 12/16. 12/13: rescheduled delivery date to 12/22 due to ‍ delivery warehouse folks not giving me a courtesy call about my furniture not coming as promised. 12/22: couches and rest of living room pieces delivered but no dining table or chairs. Promised new delivery date of 12/29. 12/26: looks like dining table was scheduled for 1/5/2020 and not 12/29 as promised. Earliest date for table to be delivered was 1/2/20. Who has time for all this?! So at this point, I do not want to deal with this any longer. I cancelled and requested a refund for my dining table. What a waste of time and energy! It's not worth it people. You're better off going to a local furniture store to get probably the same quality anywhere without the headache of non-commutative deliveries and reschedules. I wouldn't recommend this place but if you do shop here pull up the prices online and have them price match on the spot. We went in there with items in mind but first asked if we could get next day delivery. The salesperson said it's available. We paid for items and were told that next day delivery was all booked but that we could have delivery 6 days later. Would have been nice to have been told that from the start. Two days later we were looking online for measuments and noticed that prices were up to $200 cheaper on some items we bought so I called the store for price match adjustments. We were told we had to come in. We drove all the way back to the store and were shuffled from person to person each one making sure we knew we were an inconvenience. I asked the manager Omega why they don't have a sign or tell people they price match and he said if they told us that then there's no use for the people that work at the store.(i agree. There's no use for them) he then told me that the only way they can price match is to delete the first purchase, causing us to lose the delivery date. The next date available would be 3/11 instead of 3/6. As much as that annoyed me, the reason I asked foe a full refund is because I know he was lying. I saw the delivery schedule and 3/5 and 3/6 were available. Omega the manager obviously would have fathered lost my sale than give us the company policy of price matching. Luckily I called American Furniture Gallery 8001 E Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95823 916-681-2811 and spoke to Patrick and he oddly enough was HAPPY to price match Ashley Home Stores website (they even carried the same set that I wanted) and they were able to deliver on 3/5. They even threw in the ottoman for free. I've never once come across a company that went out of their way to lose me as a paying customer. I'll absolutely never go back there. It's a shame because my son and I are each looking for new bedroom sets. read more

Do not shop here!!!! I ordered my dresser on July 4th and was told it would be delivered on July 16th. I get a call July 16th saying that the dresser is back ordered until aug 6th. Bummer but oh well. I paid for a tall dresser and paid for it to be delivered and set up in my room. Aug 6th I get home and see a large box sitting on porch. I Asked my mother in law what happened and she said they knocked and handed her a paper and left the box. It's the wrong dresser and was not set up. So I call and tell them this is all wrong and they tell me they will call me in a few days. Finally get a call back on Friday and was told they would come pick up the box on Monday. I was also told they would not be ordering the correct dresser until the picked up the box. They said I had to go into the store and pay the price it is now (4th of July sale was 50% off) and I pay shipping again. I asked her to refund the money back to my store card since this has already been a nightmare. They said not until they pick up the box. So this box was pushed into my house until someone could pick it up. I move the box out to the porch today so they can pick it up between 2PM-6PM. Came home 8:30 and guess what still here. My biggest regret is that I didn't read the reviews here. Our store experience was similar to the above ones but not obnoxious. Our sales person was indeed pushy but most are and she was knowledgeable. Pricing was a little over what it should have been but not enough to stop our sale as we had been looking for far to long. Here's the problem. While I understand we are enduring Covid, and our furniture was being built, it is taking far too long. We are at 2 months now. Yes, they have disclaimers about product availability and, in general, I understand. But, when corporate contacts you on the 20th to CONFIRM your 24th delivery, I expect delivery on the 24th. Silly me. We were told to evacuate the room and have it ready for the furniture. Again silly me. At mid day, with no communication, my wife (30 min on hold) was able to reach a person at corporate who said that one piece would not be ready until the 4th and even another one further out that they couldn't specify a date. They would be waiting to deliver when they could deliver completely. Silly me. My old furniture is gone. I'm looking at an empty, useless family room for an undetermined time frame because of this Corp. Save yourself the trouble. Buy somewhere else. If I could find the same product that would please my wife somewhere else, I would cancel my order with Ashley. read more

I must start off saying Ashley's has a very wide impressive selection on just about everything. I went in looking for a living room set and didnt have anything in mind. I was assisted by one of their sales representatives Bobby who was overwhelmingly patient with me. He walked through and showed me their show room answering all my question. I finally came upon a set i liked that was more than 50% off due to their Black Friday sale they were having. I left and came back with the hubby and we were sold. With Bobby being such an outstanding sales representatives he indeed sealed the deal and we knew we wouldn't have found anything more appealing for the price. I want to Thank Bobby for his Great Service , The Manager Derek was great and delivery was hassle free and fast. Phillip is a great sales guy. When I discovered the prices were much much higher in store than online he explained they will match the online prices, this saved us tons of $$. Anthony was very helpful getting the price matching entered into the system. The Darcy sofa and loveseat are lovely and the delivery team was great about keeping me informed of the arrival time and did an excellent job setting everything up! Ive since purchased a bed and mattress and will update my review when it arrives. read more
