We tried to get a couch from here during the plandemic and it was a huge failure....skip forward 3 years and lots of patience...we went in and found exactly what we wanted and in the color we wanted...we have a small living room and needed something that would seat several people and not over power the room...it's perfect...thank you so much for all your help...the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. So my husband and I came here on Monday looking at some furniture for a house we just bought here. As we were looking around Virginia came up to us and helped us out. We had lots of questions and she answered them all and was very patient. She really knows her stuff about everything there. We still haven't decided on what we wanted as we need to have the right floor measurements. We then came back on Tuesday and had some more questions and had our measurements. The couch we wanted was on back order so we had to look at some more. So today Wednesday we FINALLY made our decision on our living room,bedroom,and dining room set. And Virginia helped us all the way even though it took us 3 days to decide on what we wanted. She is the best!!! And we will be definitely coming back here again. read more

My husband and I went in to look for a couple of pieces of furniture. We had a couple of special requirements on our bed pedestal. They were so helpful! Philip, our salesman, was fantastic in showing us different models meeting our needs. Bill, the manager, was wonderful in looking up the specs on the bed to see if it would work out for us. As a bachelor, the furniture here does not appeal to me in general, however their recliner selection was quite enjoyable to test drive. Staff welcomed me when I walked in, but didn't get up from their seats, and pretty much left me to browse unbothered. Which is fine. Avoid at all costs!! Cheap TOXIC plywood furniture that offgasses into your lungs and rooms. Yes the furniture looks good but it is just a cheap veneer of what truly lies behind and within it. Manager Bill Ferris is useless and will not take back this junk from China or Indonesia. If you have children and want to protect their developing lungs you would especially need to stay clear of this junk! read more

I have had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture store and Bill Farris. I returned 2 box springs and a mattress back to the store because they did not fit the bedframe. Today I went into the store to get the credit refund on my card. Bill store manager REFUSED TO CREDIT MY CARD AND CHARGE A $250 RESTOCKING FEE OR GET STORE CREDIT WHICH I DON' T NEED. THE FURNITURE IS DAMAGED. ASHLEY IS OWN BY Mike mcgee and pam. Mike is out of the country. I talked to Pam and she was no help. This is a small town with a small town mentality. 72 hours start on day of purchase. Ashley never disclose this to me. I rate the store a zero. read more

I spent about 20 minutes in the store without being acknowledged or greeted. I have worked retail, and commission sales, and not acknowledging your patrons as they browse your store is a huge foul. I was seen by at least two employees who were not particularly busy. A simple head nod would suffice. I was actively ignored for some reason. I was looking to buy, now I'm looking elsewhere. read more

Buying Ashley furniture is like buying a car. You buy a sofa and side by side recliner and it's yours even when it turns out to be a lemon. $2000 paid for the worse quality furniture I've ever owned. They've picked up and replaced my cushions twice, now going on the 3rd time. Bill Ferris came and looked it and just gave me the company line, even though these pieces are visibly crap and severely flawed. I'm ready to haul this stuff to the dump. Im forced to award 1 star so I can post this review. My real rating would be zero. read more

Just a short note related to the advantages of shopping in town. Recently, after considerable research online we were in Ashley Furniture again, this time looking for a new mattress. We had our ideas but soon realized there was more to it than just researching on-line. We found a great selection and the model we thought we wanted but also others of similar quality and additional features we hadn't really considered. What an advantage to talk to a 'real' and knowledgeable person (we came back several times) and physically compare products for on this very important decision. Well to make a longer story short we bought a great mattress (free delivery) by an excellent manufacturer, loved sleeping on it...but about a week later we discovered a salient manufacturing flaw. Bill Farris at Ashley's sent his quality control team to checked it out. They agreed and within a week we had an exact replacement delivered. Can you imagine the hassle of having bought that out of town?? Were sleeping just great now!! read more
