    More scratches. All shots of nightstand are from the only piece of furniture delivered on 6.18.22

    My unfortunate journey with Ashley Furniture in Morehead City NC started on March 11, 2022 and hasn't ended yet. Between my daughter and I we spent over $5000 for furniture for our vacation spot. This was paid in FULL that day. We live 3-3:30 hours round trip away. When we purchased the furniture we were told that it would be 16 weeks maximum before it was all delivered. Things were looking promising as we received the couch and 3 mattresses in about 8-10 weeks. That's when the delightful experience ended. The sales rep was kind enough to get a loaner frame arranged for us for the Master bed so that at 67 years old I wasn't sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The delivery was June 18th. The delivery team brought the wrong frame (I had to argue with them about it), a scratched nightstand and then proceeded to break the ceiling fan. I contacted the sales rep and he said it was ordered correctly but the distribution center changed it. He said I could drive 30 minutes each way and pick up one from the store the next day and assemble it myself which is what I did after sleeping with the mattress on the floor that Saturday night. Was told I would hear from Ashley's Distribution Center about the broken ceiling fan. We had to regularly contact the sales rep to get updates on when the Master bed, dresser and additional nightstand would be in. Each call was the same answer... not sure because it's made of wood so that means it takes longer and there is a supply chain issue. In mid November I get a call that the furniture is finally in. This is way past the 16 week maximum delivery time we were told. I make arrangements to drive down on November 25th. About 10 minutes after I arrive I get a call that the delivery truck has broken down and delivery will have to be rescheduled. So that my daughter nor myself have to take time off of work I schedule the delivery for December 10th. The delivery team gets there and starts to set up the bed. Not all of the pieces to the bed were sent. They offered to bring the loaner frame back in but that would require them to take apart what they had already done. They brought the dresser and the second nightstand in. Spoke with Customer Care while the delivery team was there so that they could fully explain what was missing. I was told that the distribution center was closed for the day and she would get back with me the following week after researching where the missing legs were. I also found out there was no notation of the ceiling fan being broken. I was given an email address and sent those photos. Supposedly reimbursement for that is being handled currently. I was offered a $50 store gift card when I asked about compensation for my time and gas driving down yet again. I declined as I won't be shopping at Ashley Homestore again. I received a call from the distribution center on December 13th stating that they could deliver the legs on December 14th. That would mean taking off of work so that wasn't an option. On December 19th I get a call from Customer Care stating that the legs were in and that they would have a tech repair the scratches on the nightstand that was delivered in June. I again asked for compensation for my time and gas. Asked that I be refunded the price of the one nightstand. This time I was offered a $100 store gift card. Again, I refused stating I would not be shopping at Ashley Homestore ever again. I called and scheduled the delivery of the 3 missing legs for December 29th. Guess what....they sent the wrong ones.... yet another wasted trip. I contacted my sales rep and was told if this was a service issue I needed to contact Customer Care. I spoke with customer care on December 29th and the distribution center was closed for the day and they will research it. My next step is emailing the CEO and requesting a full refund. Review when it posts says I'm in California. I am not. I am in North Carolina. If anyone from Ashley cares to reach out to me my email address is maa95@yahoo.com

    Terrible service do not shop here. The product was damaged beyond repair and they wouldn't refund my money

    Took weeks for furniture to arrive after being lied to and Jerry saying it would only be a couple weeks. Horrible. Go somewhere else.
