If I could give them less than a negative 1 then I would. We were new to Texas, needed a new bed. We looked around and found a new bed on sale at Ashley in Longview. The "gentleman" that was helping us was AWFUL. He had a cold or something. He had mucus dripping from his nose! And oh, yes. I am serious when I say dripping!! He would wipe his nose with his hand and put it all over the furniture including mattresses. He looked absolutely bored that we were in his store. We left twice but came back to purchase that bedframe. We signed the Acceptance Now "contract" and had it worked out so that the bed would be paid off in less than the allotted time. Apparently $32 can take a $500 bed and turn it into a $4000 bed. This is so ridiculous. We were not made aware of how much it would jump if the deadline was missed. When we signed the contract, we made sure and went over with the sales person that the bed would be paid off before the allotted time was up. Oh, yes, he said it will be paid off. BULL *^$*()&!!! When we went to pick up the frame ( after waiting for a week for it to be broken down from the showroom floor), the same "gentleman" was there to "help us." Ok, help us by standing there and complaining the whole time! We loaded the bed and that jack!@# shut the door on us before we could even put a strap on the bed to drive away. We were behind the store in the dark. What great customer service there! I will never again set foot inside this store. I will go with and sleep on the floor before going there. My family and friends have all been aware and I tell them always to STAY AWAY!!! When we moved to Texas, we were amazed at the Southern hospitality until we went to Ashley furniture and received this! We know that not all of Texas is like this! Thank God. read more

Well I finally got my love seat fixed I thought .Ashley furniture sent someone to repair it his idea of repairing it was to put a small wood screw and some Elmer's glue on it .you can only imagine how long that lasted.so I called them back and now they refuse to do anything.they told me they turned it into customer service so I called them they said they haven't gotten anything.so crystal at longview store lied to me again.customer service told me they not gonna fix it again.l told them you didn't fix it the first time.so I called montage extended warranty. Guess what they told me my warranty doesn't cover the frame.covers everything except frame.that's some bs.so if you buy from ASHLEY FURNITURE GET READY TO GET NO HEIP ONCE YOU BUY IT .ALL THEY WANT IS TO MAKE A SELL THEN YOU ARE A NOBODY BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR PRODUCTS.THE EXSTENDED WARRANTY THEY SELL YOU IS NO GOOD.THEY TELL YOU IT COVERS ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR FURNITURE BUT THEY ARE LIYING TO YOU BELIEVE ME I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN.I URGE ANYONE ELSE NOT TO EITHER UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED. Do not, I repeat do not buy from these people.. We had bought a power sofa and love seat in 2014, as well as a couple tables.. When we went to purchase our furniture we ask the person who was helping us how long it would take to get our furniture in if we were to buy from them.. My wife and I were told 2 to 4 weeks at most, most likely 2 weeks and that the sales rep would keep contact with us on the eta. .Well that was a lie. Time was very important to us because I had broke my back approximately a year before and was in dire need of some new comfortable furniture.. The rep never contacted us, when we'd call no one could find out when or where our furniture was or an eta. We spoke to the head manager everyone. Finally after 2 months of nonsense I told them I wanted a refund. They told me it would take 3 to 4 weeks to refund because I paid cash and there main office is out of Canada.. Then they told me they found it, and can deliver it this week. .All nonsense, now we have a problem with the same furniture that took months to get. The fabric is tearing so they told us to contact the warranty we have for the furniture they said because it isn't from us, to call Ashley where we bought it, they told us we are out of luck.. over 3 grand in furniture and they just don't care.. I'd never recommend this store in Longview to anyone. read more

Within less than 30 days, one of the pieces had to be replaced and that's when I learned the disappointing truth: this isn't top-grain or genuine leather. It's "performance leather" coated in polyurethane, which means it's essentially a plastic layer over low-grade leather. The material may look beautiful on the showroom floor, but it does not hold up in real life. The so-called "leather" started showing damage almost immediately, and instead of standing behind the product, Havertys tried to blame the issue on pet damage and push me toward using my protection plan which completely misses the point. The problem isn't wear and tear; it's poor-quality materials disguised as luxury. For the price, I expected durability, integrity, and honesty from the brand. Unfortunately, all I got was frustration and disappointment. If you're considering the Hailey collection or any "performance leather" from Havertys, do your research first -- this is not real leather, and it does not perform like it.

We had a fantastic time purchasing a living room set from Ashley furniture in Longview for the Memorial day special weekend. We entered the store on Saturday and basically found what we wanted but decided to think about it until Monday. Customer service was excellent; nobody pressured us to buy or asked for personal information before we left (that really impressed us). We went back on Monday and ordered our set. I am expecting delivery tomorrow per phone call confirming the date. (I was going out of town for a week or I could have had it delivered much earlier.) I am excited to get my new pieces. We went in to buy a mattress and ordered one that same day we were in the Longview store! they both took the time to demonstrate all the various types of mattresses they had to offer. Me and my fiancé came in 7-1-17 just to look at ideas for our new apartment and Gary weaver was very helpful and got us approved for 5 year fiancé at 0% interest!!!! Went to the store in Longview, Texas and had a great experience! The salesman was very nice and helped us with anything we needed. He even helped us locate some furniture we had found online so we could see it in person. The set we went with is great quality and I feel like I walked away paying a reasonable price. I know this furniture is going to last me for a while. This isn't an every day purchase so always keep that in mind when furniture shopping. Went in just looking and left with new mattress,bed, loveseat, and sofa. The staff are very knowledgeable of their products and were very patient. ( I changed my mind several times ;) ) we actually ended up being in the store past closing time and the staff never let it show. We will definitely be going back with any of our furniture needs. Longview location: Great experience in purchasing and getting my bedroom suite delivered. I was updated prior to my delivery date & then again on my delivery date. The delivery professionals Jerry Alexander and Geoff Wansley were quick, but professional in getting everything set up. Now if I could only get my dining room set!
