I bought a reclinar chair at the store more than a month ago and I didn't get it yet. They said it'll be delivered by January 17 I called to the store a couple times and never answered. When I finally talked with someone the person scheduled my delivery for January 15 and then I received another email saying that it'll be at January 20. At the day of today I called again cause I never received my chair, and now my chair will be delivered next month. I won't buy there again I don't recommend it read more

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. First, the salesperson, Jorge (who calls himself George), gave me the wrong order and shorted me two chairs. Customer service would not honor the difference and wanted to charge me even though it was the salesperson's fault. He doesn't know how to take an order properly and should be fired. Then, the furniture that did arrive, almost all of it was damaged. It's impossible to contact customer service. When I call their number, I get a recording that doesn't let me speak to anyone and disconnects me. The only way to speak to a customer service representative is during a redelivery, and the delivery person contacts them. The customer service representatives are all outsourced, and you can't understand what they're saying. Then, they don't want to honor the exchange, and want to charge you again. They gave me such a hard time and caused me unnecessary stress and aggravation trying to straighten everything out that I had pains in my chest. I paid over $500 for delivery, setup, and cleanup afterward, but the delivery people left a mess that I had to clean up. I have a lot more furniture that I need to buy, but I will do it elsewhere because I never want to deal with this company again. read more

I am extremely disappointed in Ashley furniture. They have been a nightmare as we face continual lack of communication and poor customer service. It has taken 4 attempts for delivery and my order still is not complete or correct and now I can't get anyone to return my calls regarding the fact that they delivered the wrong headboard as it does not go with the storage bed. It's been a month and still hasn't been made right. Once they make the sale and collect their commission they are done with the customer. I can't get the salesman Joey Padilla to return my calls or answer my emails regarding when I can expect this nightmare to be over and get all the correct parts so I can finish off my bedroom. Never Again!! I actually posted a review a few months ago expressing the importance of examining your furniture purchased before the delivery drivers leave your house because different pieces started to fall apart soon after. I bought a bedroom set, a dining room set, and a desk. Long story short someone from the store contacted me to make it right. That didn't happen... After several visits to my house, replacement of furniture, and repair of furniture the end result is a joke. Example: The desk I purchased was cracking in spots all over. I was told I would get a credit to use to make a different purchase within 72 hours. Needless to say I had to go to the store to activate my credit and wait over an hour before I could actually use the credit to make another purchase! Once I found something it actually exceeded my credit by $30. Instead of just deducting the $30 I had to pay it! Then minutes after leaving the store I get a credit for $10 emailed to use towards another purchase! The sad thing is it wasn't about the money for me. I paid cash for my original purchase in hopes that I would receive quality furniture which didn't happen. I wished I would have read other peoples reviews beforehand. I would have been better off going to a thrift store instead of spending thousand of dollars for 2nd hand furniture. read more

They have replaced one couch and as soon as we got another (with that warranty) it broke, so much so that our backs are in horrible shape. The couch looks like a ski slope, like an upside down V. They sent a repairman (the same one who had been here four times to fix the previous couch, only to finally tell them to give us a new one) and he said he couldn't believe we were having that problem again and that he couldn't fix it. We even put a level on the floor to make sure it wasn't our house. Now we're stuck with a horrible couch because they "can't order parts." If it was an option to leave a zero star rating I would. This is my first purchase/ experience with Ashley's furniture and I'm beyond disappointed, disgusted, beyond livid with the customer service, and support. I'm not sure if it's a Florida thing where war Veterans gets disrespected, horrible service, overlooked and mistreated or not. It definitely has shown me that's the case with not only in society in Florida but in the big franchise stores as well. Ashley furniture being number one on that list. I ordered an oversized chaise around October 1st, with expecting delivery date of 19th of October. Two to three weeks like the website said , which wasn't a problem. Had email notifications and voicemails to confirm delivery for that day as well. I get a call today on the 18th saying that the order was cancelled by then on the 16th because they didn't have it in stock. Asked me if November 4th or 6th would be ok. I told them that it's not ok and that no notifications was made to me stating that the order was canceled two days ago. They claimed that notification was made via email according to their notes but I have had zero notifications from them other than confirmation of delivery for the 19th. So they informed me that nothing can be done other than accept the Nov 4th date or just cancel the order. Pretty much I have to wait an additional three weeks and again might have that chance of it being cancelled again. Do not order any furniture from this place because they'll just disappoint you, and just flat out disrespect you especially if you're a veteran that has worked so hard and made sacrifices for this country for something just to have in your living room. read more

I ordered a table December 31, 2022 and still haven't received this. I have called numerous times and have received only a runaround. My sales associate called me back February 17 to let me know the reason I haven't received the table is because the price of shipping went up. I refused to pay since it went up after I ordered it. The sales person said he would cover it. The table was to be delivered tomorrow march 4. I just called to confirm and the date has changed. I'm the last month I've talked to several different employees that are unable to give me answers, or a call back. Very disappointed with communication. We ordered a TV stand in November knowing it was backordered until March. Previously, I had been able to check my purchases online and no longer could, so I called Ashley customer service. Apparently this is now a franchise, so you can't use the online site to check purchases now. I wish I had known, but oh well. While I'm on the phone for this issue, they tell me my TV stand is available early and they set a delivery date. I arrange my day around this date and they completely skip my stop. I thought they may be going out of order until my window passes and I call Ashley customer service. They say it was an inventory mistake and my TV a stand was not available. So I wasted my time and no one could notify me? I obviously want compensation, but customer service can't do anything for me. I call the store to request to speak to a manager. They are not available, so I leave a message. No return call. I email my salesperson after a while and find out my delivery is expected to be in May. Not happy, but I understand the shortages. I share with him my prior delivery experience and ask for help. He ignores me. Mistakes happen. Delays happen. Poor customer service is an active choice to ignore your customers. On a side note, bought a new couch in 2018. Thank God we bought the warranty because it needed extensive repairs. Within 3 months, the replacement couch has tears and is coming unstitched and the replacement comes with no warranty. I've NEVER had a couch that this happened to. read more

We bought 10k in bedroom furniture and beds last week. When our furniture was delivered they brought the wrong headboard and we did not receive the bunky boards for the beds. The invoice had the correct info on it too. The delivery guys did not take away our old mattresses either. instead we had to pay 200 for another company to haul them away. while in the store our sales rep measured a dresser we said could not be longer than four feet. He said it was exactly four feet so we bought it. When it arrived it was 4' 3" and does not fit. the rep told us that we had 30 days to return our purchase, but he was referring to the mattress's only, but did not clarify that when we asked about it again to confirm. I called the manager and expected an apology and remedy to fix the issues. instead i was greeted by a rude sales manager, who Didn't have time for me. not one apology or promise to make it right. He said he couldn't do anything about the dresser and would look into the rest. I told him we were leaving town for the summer the next day and couldn't receive a delivery for the new headboard until fall. He hasn't returned any of my calls since then. a delivery truck showed anyway when we were already gone and we were charged 500 for im not sure what. we were mislead, treated poorly, ignored and did not get what we ordered. The worst customer service ive ever had! I will never buy anything from any Ashley store again and I will tell everyone i know about our experience since no one cares enough to call me back. Worst store ever and one star is too many. We ordered an end table in October and was unable to be home the day they wanted to deliver it in November. We called to have the delivery rescheduled for the next day but they canceled the delivery and and gave it to someone else and informed us it is on back order until February. Got a call for a delivery date in February which we changed our schedule to be available. We were stop number 11 for that day and as we tracked the truck they we at stop 10 when we received a text stating the item was on back order until April. No one has been able to answer how can a company schedule a delivery and not have the furniture on the truck. Needless to say they will never receive anymore of my business and if I could return the house full of furniture I bought from them it would be on a truck heading back in a heartbeat. read more

I truly regret buying as much furniture from Ashley HomeStore as we did. We have had nothing but issues with the furniture we purchased. While glad we paid the extra for the warrantees fixing the items is taking months and months. I actually went into the store yesterday spoke with the salesman who is very caring and understanding. Customer service is a total different story rude, disrespectful, and useless the woman I spoke to had a baby screaming in the background I understand working from home now but this is totally unacceptable to be put on hold to tend to her kids. We were promised we would be gotten back to but of course that didn't happen either. So our 2 to 4 week wait for the damaged and broken dresser drawers which are useless and cannot be used still is now over three months and we're told will be at least another two months. If it doesn't come in they said date we can order a whole new Chest of draws but how long will that now take to get in. I should've gone to Kane furniture the few pieces I bought there not a single issue with anything only with what we bought from Ashley and city furniture beware. Again as they say buyer beware. In December of 2021 I purchased an expensive amount of furniture from Brandon Florida's Ashley Home Store, a company that I have always used for multiple purchases. My sales representative, Debra Lutes, was very helpful at first and I was originally happy with my service. Over the next couple of months, I remained very patient as I awaited my items to come in for delivery. Occasionally I would ask Debra what the status was and she provided an update which made me feel as though the communication was good. So far, so good ... Then on 23 February everything changed. I was told by Debra that Ashley Home Store was looking at doing a 28 February partial delivery of items that had arrived (everything but two dining room chairs) and I agreed that would be a great day. She also mentioned that I was on the delivery schedule for 11 March but they were trying for an earlier date. A couple of days later I had not heard from Debra if 28 February was confirmed and therefore I sent her a text message to asked her ... crickets ... no response whatsoever. Multiple text messages to her and not one reply ... EVER. So, on 26 February, I called the Brandon Florida store and was told that they would NOT be doing a partial delivery and I would have to wait until my all my items arrived in store on 15 March. At that point I agreed that waiting on a full delivery after 15 March would be best. But I did question how I could be on the schedule for 11 March if all of my items wouldn't be ready until 15 March and the lady at the store just told me they couldn't do a partial delivery ... she didn't have an answer. She then restated that I could not have a partial delivery and would have to wait until all items arrived. Please keep in mind that Debra Lutes STILL HAS NOT communicated with me. On 4 March I then received an email from Ashley Home Store delivery stating they were delivering my items on 11 March (even after being told nothing would be delivered before 11 March because they couldn't do a partial delivery). Completely confused I called the Brandon Florida store again and spoke with a representative who stated I would be receiving my delivery (all but two dining room chairs which hadn't arrived) and I was happy with that. After asking how this much confusion could occur the response was, "We cannot do partial deliveries when it involves not having a full dining room set." Say what? I was just told I was receiving everything excluding two dining room chairs. This was completely confusing. STILL NO REPLY from Debra Lutes. On 9 March I still did not have a delivery window timeframe for my items so I tried calling Ashley customer service but kept getting pushed from one number to another ... online purchases, in-store purchases, back to online purchases and was then told I couldn't request a delivery window because customer service had no connection to the delivery team. HUH? So once again, I called back to the Brandon location and reached an amazing young lady named Mindy! I asked if Debra was still working there and she stated "Yes, she is still working here." But I still hadn't heard a peep from Debra. I asked Mindy to see if she could help me request a specific delivery window (needed an early morning time due to work) and she was able to email with the delivery team and the gentlemen on the delivery team confirmed that my request should not be a problem. All was well and Mindy confirmed that my requested time was good to go and I would receive all items on 11 March excluding the two dining room chairs. On 10 March I received a phone call that my deliver would be at a completely different time than was agreed upon. I shared with the caller that Mindy at the Brandon Store location worked with the delivery team for a different delivery time and the caller stated she could not change it and I would have to change the date. I of course, disagreed and would not be changing the date and I asked to speak to a manager. While on hold I called Mindy at the Brandon store location and I had her and the delivery caller on two separate phones. The delivery caller mentioned she tried calling the Brandon store and that no one answered and yet Mindy mentioned no one from delivery had called in the last 10 minutes. Mindy then provided the delivery caller the name of her contact via email (who had agreed to my requested time) and when that was all confirmed the delivery caller then changed the time ... the one she originally said she couldn't change. read more

The last one refused to let me speak with their manager and told me that they have no control over when items are shipped and I need to figure it out with UPS/FedEx or cancel the order. This store is crazy. They don't have a warehouse in ft myers or naples. So you have to pay for delivery from ft lauderdale. I order a bed and i was told it was on back order. Then when i was told they where delivering they canceled the order they same day ,that was 2 weeks later. Then the day they rescheduled me for delivery the following week, they called me that morning and told me that half the bed was in back order. So no bed no nothing 19 days later... They received my money immediately via debit card but are still holding on to my money! I paid on 9/21 and had to cancel on 9/23 when it was determined the couch would not fit in the door. I was told I would receive a check in the mail in 5 to 10 business days and it is now 10/10 clearly over that. If only we could give negative ratings! This feels like theft. Bait and Switch My husband and I were searching for months for a new mattress. We stumbled across this one in an Ashley store in South Florida. In the store, we were amazed at how comfortable we both felt. We tried a couple other brand mattresses, and still agreed that this store brand felt better. We were excited to receive the mattress at home. Upon delivery, the mattress looked different from the one we tried in the store. We questioned the delivery person, who assured us it was the same mattress on the invoice. We called customer service to verify-the young lady adamantly said it was the same one as in the store, and suggested we try it for a few nights. The first 2 weeks neither of us slept. When we called back to report sagging in the middle, the customer service rep suggested we rotate the mattress and try it again. We did this. It has been over 6 months and after being tortured every night, feeling coils poke through, and repeated sagging, we have reverted back to our old mattress with a new topper. The company says "nothing can be done." Incredibly disappointed in the quality and customer service of this experience. We could have gotten a brand name mattress at another store for a lot less and possibly had a better outcome. I purchased a Signature Recliner. I suffer from chronic pain and needed a comfortable, quality Recliner. I was going to get a LazyBoy. But since the sales lady on the phone assured me this was a nice Recliner. And that the sold a lot of them. As soon as I used it (for the first time I noticed a plastic crackling in the right. I figured I could live with that. In the days that followed.I started to hear boards piping oh the back as I reclined it. It is only 7 months old and I can feel the board throughthe cushioning in the right arm. Considering this is my. "Bad" arm. It makes matters worse. The chair is starting to tip to one side as well. I purchased the one year warranty. I have their "Technician" coming Friday. I hope he will make things right. The lady on the phone said he will decide if he can fix it or not. DO NOT do business with this store!!!! We meticulously scheduled a delivery for a queen bed, a king bed, and a twin bed on December 23rd over a month in advance. We called multiple times to make sure everything was good. We paid extra to get a pre delivery inspection as insurance to make sure delivered items would be in good shape. We got a call 7:00 on the 23rd telling us that the order was missing two posts needed to put together king size bed. They had the posts but could not put them on the truck because of a policy. Despite numerous calls we could not reach anyone that could help us resolve this. We then got a call at 10:00 that there was a tear in the plastic on one of the mattresses. No damage but could not put it on truck due to policy even though we told them to still bring it. While trying to get this resolved with the store we got a call saying they cancelled the whole delivery now. Now let's get this straight. We had a confirmation call that the beds were coming so we had our old beds removed. I have a house full of people and no beds. Had to instead send my kids to their fathers house and spend Christmas alone sleeping on the floor. Now the best they can do is deliver on the 26th and give us a discount. Really?? My Christmas is spoiled. I trusted this company. There is nobody in that whole corporate chain you can talk to that can fix a problem. Shame on them!! Absolutely the WORST Customer Service we have ever received. Ordered our Furniture for our bedroom a while back, anticipated delivery. ALL PRODUCTS ( DRESSER and BED) Both arrived damage, not to mention the bed had NO Hardware what so ever to even put together to manage for the night. Nightstands to follow, so we will see how they arrive when we get them. We called, sat on phone for 1 1/2-2 hours and finally spoke to a Supervisor named Donna, whom was suppose to give us a call back the same day and let us know what was going on and never did, even after I proceeded to call again that same day before end of business day and was still told I should expect a call from her. Our bed then showed up the next day after only receiving a text stating it was being delivered. She never called us back to let us know what was going on. Still has some scratches on it, she also told us that they would make things right by having it be assembled upon arrival, which was also NOT done. Come Saturday we put in yet ANOTHER call to speak to a supervisor or someone higher up, and were not called back Monday morning as we were told she would when they got in. I have called 2-3 more times since (EVERYDAY), as well as done an online chat, all still telling us this "supervisor" would call us back.. yet here we are Wednesday almost a week later, and NOTHING. Never have we experienced such horrible customer service. Not to mention the unneeded stress of all this at 8 1/2 months pregnant. Absolutely horrible to deal with!!!! read more

Unless you enjoy headaches, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. My husband and I purchased a guest bedroom set - bed, nightstand, mirror, and dresser. We were told it was all getting delivered on one day, turned out not to be so, given COVID, the order was separated. Which okay - understandable, it happens. So we got the set in random pieces. They have been to my house 3 times, and each time there has been a problem. First time they came here we got the bed, dresser, and mirror, so we were pretty excited. About 20 minutes after delivery we get a knock on the door saying "hey we need the dresser back that wasn't suppose to go to you" SAME DRESSER they literally dropped off the same dresser we ordered but this one apparently was for another customer. So they came back in, and took the dresser away. I forgot to mention that they left the dolly in the middle of my driveway and took off after reloading the dresser back into their truck. Okay, so the next visit - we get the nightstand. Theres a chunk of wood missing - like a chunk of the corner is gone and they tried to sharpie it in. The dresser is a dark grey color and they used a BLACK sharpie hoping we wouldn't notice. So that was another phone call. Yes, we did get the nightstand exchanged for a new one. (But I would just like to mention, when your purchasing the furniture they tell you all the stuff you want to hear. "we have an excellent team who pre-checks all the furniture and they go around and inspect it with you, blah blah blah" yeah right. Here we are today, about a month and a half later, the dresser arrives. WOO! No. My husband and I were in the kitchen letting the guys do their job, putting the mirror and dresser together when we hear "oh shit". We kind of looked at each other like LOL theres no way something else can go wrong. Well, the guys leave, we start looking at the dresser/mirror. No joke, theres at least 11 staples stuck under the mirror. You can see a gap about 1 inch big where the mirror should be sitting on the dresser. So here I am, on the phone, requesting someone come fix it. Don't get me wrong, five years ago we purchased almost every piece of furniture in this house from Ashley and had NO problems. This time around, three separate deliveries all gone wrong. I love the furniture at Ashley, but never again will I purchase from them. It's not worth the headache or time. read more

I honestly wish I had read the reviews before going there to buy anything. I ordered a couch since early September and I was told it would be delivered mid October. One day around early October they randomly told me that my couch was ready for delivery to find out that it was only 1 piece out of the 3 pieces of the couch. They finally show up today with the remainder of the couch and it was probably the most unpleasant delivery I have ever had because the guys were rude. They were trying to leave the couches on the front porch and leave after. I asked them "Can you guys put them inside the house? They then replied, "No, we can only put it through the front door for you or leave them on the porch, that's it." One of the guys responded with a sarcastic remark "You know you have free shipping, right?" I was not aware that "free shipping" meant they could just drop your stuff in the front porch and take off. And this is the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced. They are so quick to take your money but when it is time for you to get what you paid for, it's always a hassle. But the young sales worker named Ashley Knight lied to us completely. Telling us certain things came with the bedroom set that when delivered, surprise! They don't come with it. Then when it was delivered, the delivery men scratched AND CRACKED the wood floor where we rent so not only do we have to pay to get fixed (600 more) but we lost our $500 security deposit, lovely! After spending countless hours and over 19,000 with you....I was appalled by how I was treated on my last trip to your store. I was told that because I placed 3 orders over 1 month that my total purchase of 19,000 was not seen as 19k, but instead was 3 smaller purchases. The only reason I completed my last order was because I was on a time schedule, had no time to shop anywhere else and needed to take the items with me, otherwise that $1800 order would have gone somewhere else. Additionally, you had 10 lamps displayed in your store and refused to sell me one of them. Let me repeat myself....I SPENT 19K IN 1 MONTH AND WANTED TO BUY A $50 LAMP, AND YOU WOULDN'T SELL IT TO ME. After spending hours and hours running to every furniture store in Fort Myers we landed in Ashley HomeStore and finally felt like we were in the right place! Not only were we greeted very enthusiastically by Diana, but the best part was, until we asked for her help, she let us look, she didn't try to hover and sell the most expensive thing to us. We were not the easiest of customers either, I know, but that did not phase Diana one bit! She must have spent 2-3 hours with us running from entertainment centers to coffee tables and rugs to couches and end tables. I can not recommend Diana ENOUGH! Or the Ashley HomeStore because we got our furniture 2 days later, and it's perfect! The guys took all of 15 minutes to unload the truck put everything together and leave! And it looks great! That nifty little tracking device they have now also helped us keep track of the delivery truck so we knew if we had time to run to Publix or not! If giving no stars was a thing this would definitely be the time. My wife and I recently bought a house and started our journey of "furniture shopping". Rooms to go, El Dorado and Ashley Furniture all had a part in creating our perfect living environment. Just a couple of hours ago our couch arrived from Ashley Furniture. The delivery drivers were not friendly at all, they then pieced together the furniture, took a picture and left. Upon closer examination I thought cotton was coming out from the side, but it was a tear by the headrest. Strike two. Since Ashley furniture is only 15 minutes away, we decided to go and speak with the people that sold us the couch. Before I forget, the couch is just a little too big for our living room. So we get to the store, speak with the manager on duty so that we could go ahead and exchange it for another piece of furniture that would fit better and not damaged and they tell us that we have to call the customer service number and speak with them because they do not provide refunds or exchanges. Wtf?! Ok, so we call and customer service tells us we can't exchange our piece of furniture because of a no return policy. What return policy? Because I know they never said anything about that and the only thing provided to us on our e-receipt was details of our warranty that we paid for. Now to some $1200 isn't a lot of money but to us, it is. So now we are on the phone trying to escalate the phone call to whoever is able to help us fix/resolve this issue. Wish us luck. As a paying customer who is unhappy with our purchase, I would hope that they resolve this. Other stores would quickly. In short, I will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture HomeStore. Horrible customer service all around the board and unwilling to assist customers with their problems. Negative 5 star review. read more

Never in my life have I ever received such deceiving service. It was our first time buying new furniture and everything initially was great until delivery day when I realized our salesman Karim completely lied to us about what was included. We literally were doing the transaction directly on the furniture we were purchasing and we confirmed with him that the sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman were included. When we received the furniture, our delivery driver told us we had some items backordered and we would have to call Ashley Furniture to set up the delivery once the items were in stock. Karim called today and asked how the delivery went and I told him everything we received was good except for the backordered chair and ottoman. He acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and then went on to tell me that it wasn't included when he told us in the store that it was! I would not have bought all the furniture if the smaller seat and ottoman were my included. When I realized he had lied to us and looked at the 14 piece set, sure enough the seat and ottoman weren't included. I've never been so deceived in my life by a salesman and this experience alone will make me never shop at Ashley Furniture again. Shame on Karim for lying about what's included just to make a sale. I would appreciate if someone contacts me concerning this **6/8/2018 - It's been four days since I expressed my concerns about our terrible experience and there has been no effort by anyone at Ashley Furniture to contact me. From the other reviews, I have my doubts that anyone will even attempt to resolve this issue. After posting a review, I again heard from Ashley Furniture store manager Anthony. We spoke more about the store credit they issued me, and he assured me at the end of the conversation that they would honor the expired store credit they sent me in the mail for full credit when I come back to Florida in the fall. My issue was resolved successfully. read more

Their delivery is horrible. They deliveried the wrong color of sofa. After I took the original day off for delivery. The next day the streets in our park were closed for 2 hours for a parade. They cancelled the delivery. They will try again tomorrow. Worst customer service ever. Delivery charge $99.95 plus a day off work unpaid. This sofa has gotten very expensive. If you try to cancel the whole order, they charge you also. My advise don't walk through their doors. read more

Purchased a couch, received it broken---hey things happen. When i was at the store we asked this specific question and was told, you just need to call customer service within 24 hours and they will come out with a replacement. Totally not the process, you need to file a damage report, take pictures, and get this--leave the couch exactly where it was delivered and someone should get back to you in 3 days. Poor quality, horrible customer service, and the store manager was not helpful at all. Avoid Ashley at all costs, its just not worth it. read more
