Came in looking for a recliner, bar stools and office furniture for my in-laws house. Overall they have a decent size selection for an affordable price. What really turned us off was that the staff was not friendly and not helpful. When we asked questions they couldn't answer that was simply it. They walked away, seemed like they had better stuff to do. Then we overheard a full on argument between two Ashley employee with two potential customers. One employee was a manager and we could not believe how these customers were treated. Evidentially the customer misunderstood what the package includes and the employees acted like they were stupid. They loudly talked down to them. It was just flat out rude and they did that to the customers in the middle of the showroom floor. The argument got a lot of negative attention from other on looking potential customers. It was a big turn off. It just showed they didn't care about the customer at all. I have an Ashley bedroom set in my home, not from this store, and it's pretty good quality. It's held up very well for 5 years. But I would never buy anything from this location simply because of the terrible customer service. read more

The furniture looks good in the store, but the quality of the sectional I bought was THE WORST! Three open seams, dust cover not attached on one the the pieces and a bad spring under one of the cushions. The furniture is THREE WEEKS OLD! I called for a refund and they said, "it's too late"! Go somewhere else. They don't stand behind there products even with the huge letters stating they have an "EASY" return policy. Now I am stuck with this cheap motel quality furniture. Here is my post for my experience with Ashley Furniture. I would give a negative star if I could. (update - still no callback 2 weeks out!) I ordered 2 rooms full of furniture for my office space, (sectionals/chairs/coffee & end tables/rug etc.), and NOT ONE PIECE was delivered on time. I had to reach out on my own, since no one told me and no updated message system alerted me, and was told many excused as to why I have to reschedule. From "our delivery guys decided to not show up for work today" and "I see the date listed here in notes for your delivery day but no one placed the order so I will have to do that now and you are not getting delivery today". The days available that were not 2 weeks out was on weekends (again for my office space, so kinda hard to get access to the building for something that wasn't guaranteed to be delivered). When I finally got the delivery, pieces were stained with something in a color I really didn't want to know what it came from. So I had to get them cleaned. I have had to reject pieces due to damage with major cracks in them, and go through the hellish experience of rescheduling that delivery. I have had missing pieces in the order, like the pillows that came with the order (still missing one), and a side table that finally had to be reordered. No one would help me or talk to me regarding my order until I received my full order. Do you know how long that took, and how hard it was with all the damaged pieces, and delayed deliveries?! So I waited... And when I finally tried to call management on these matters, I have a chain of people that have promised to call me back and still haven't. Yes, I have waited the 72 hours, multiple times patiently for each one to call me back...and still no phone calls. So I keep trying to call in to get someone with actual authority that can rectify this horrible experience of a situation. Every time I call, I get someone that wants to take down my name and number, to have a manager call me back. I think I have 5 managers that are suppose to call me back right away and its been days since those calls. Or representatives that promised that someone will call me back within 10-15 minutes knowing this is urgent..and still no call after hours of waiting. The GM of the branch I ordered this from was suppose to call me back to make sure I received a call from the CS manager within the 72 hour window promised, since this has been a nightmare. He tole me he "personally" called the CS to have a manager contact me and marked it urgent. Still no call from EITHER side... I finally got to someone with "authority" and for everything that I experienced, having everything I ordered have an issue attached to it...they wanted to give me...are you ready? ....... 0.05% reimbursement! YEP! After all of that, less than tax on the order! 5% I am hoping this message reaches someone with the authority to call me and make right of this situation. In July I went into the Ashley Furniture store in Dublin, OH. I picked out two twin beds that were not in stock but were to be in within the next 2 weeks. I kept calling every few weeks and getting a different answer as to why they weren't in yet. They were finally scheduled to be delivered Oct.4th and when I went to check on the time that morning, they had canceled my delivery without even notifying me. They finally called me one hour after the scheduled delivery time to tell me my order wasn't in. Their communication was non existent and the fact that it was then going to be another month before my order would be in caused me to cancel my order at that point. We placed an order with the Ashley store in Polaris shopping center Ohio on January 25, 2021. We ordered a complete king size bedroom suit. We were told a delivery date of two weeks out and we made arrangements to have our old furniture picked up so that our room was ready for the delivery. The delivery date comes and it had snowed the night before and my husband went out at 5am in the morning to plow the drive so that the delivery truck could deliver. The stores delivery app is amazing and i watch anxiously for my new furniture to come. The guys got to my house and sat at the end of my drive and then drove off. I get a call from Ashley stating they were unable to deliver because of my driveway? I offered a solution with the lady on the phone and they refused. Mind you we are now without a bed to sleep on. My husband called the store manager and she arranged for the deliver truck to come back on Saturday February 13, 2021 just a couple days without a bed we can do this and sleep on the couch. Well February 13, 2021 comes and the delivery truck did the same thing as the first time sat at the end of the driveway and then left?, this time my husband got into his truck and followed the driver down our street asking him to pull over and he stopped for a second and rolled up his window said i am not delivering your furniture and left. At this point i am ready to cancel this order and go to another store to get a bed. we then allowed Ashley to set up one more time to get this furniture delivered and they offered a discount on our bill. So on Saturday February 19th the guys came with our furniture and got it set up. Both dressers came with the drawer slides NOT working so they asked if we wanted them to take them back or leave them and have a service person come out, we said please leave them after all that we have been through. it is now APRIL 9TH 2021 and STILL NOONE HAS CONTACTED US to fix our dressers? We received our bill with NO DISCOUNT ON IT. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!! i hope they read these and have someone come to fix the dressers. So disappointed in my experience. I had purchased a bed frame over 2 weeks ago from this location. We opted for the pick up option since we live 10 minutes away from the location and was told it would be ready for pick up on March 11th. A week passed and I call (which it takes about 2 times of calling before I could ever get ahold of someone at the store) to ask the status of my delivery and they told me it wouldn't be until a week after my my expected delivery date for it to come in. The 17th comes and I call and they tell me that the delivery truck is late and to call back in a couple hours. I call later and they tell me to come. I get there about 45- 1 hour later and they tell me that the guy who was working the pick up location in the back was sent home sick with the CORONA VIRUS!! Then about 30 seconds later another guy comes to the front and says that now the guy is on his lunch break.. me and my boyfriend look confused because we feel half scared to get sick and half annoyed having to wait even longer, and start shopping around the store because what else are we going to do. About 30 minutes later the same salesman from the front tells us that pick up is ready and that he was hoping we would buy something while shopping (which we've had such a unprofessional experience why would we want to buy something else when we haven't even gotten our bed yet!! But glad you're more worried about me spending more of my money than my getting the product I've already purchased). Go to the back and there's one one guy working, he says the other two guys didn't show up for work and he's all by himself. No one ever checks nor suggests that we check the boxes to see if there were damages like they were supposed to. Then the salesman from the front comes to the back to take a smoke break and says to my boyfriend and I that "we are lucky to even be getting our furniture today because Corperate is shutting the reviving bay due to the corona virus." and watches as me, the guy working the back, and my boyfriend struggle to get this bed in the back of our truck in the pouring rain.... LASTLY, we get home and almost every piece of our bed has some sort of chip on it. Not only that it has saw dust and markings like it's been used! I am so incredibly disappointed with my experience. I was even thinking about buying the matching dressers and end table, a bar and stools, and two couches next time we were in.. but absolutely not!! read more

We had a really bad experience, especially compared to our previous experiences with other Ashley stores in other cities. We bought a bed from them on Jan 1. Were told it would be 6 weeks at most and likely sooner. When we called 6 weeks later, they told us it would be at least 2 more months and then they tried to prevent us from canceling our order. The customer service the day we went (think of a very pushy used car salesman) and since then has been terrible. No one ever notified us that there would be additional delay. I am very disappointed with how they handled the situation from start to finish. I regret that I will no longer give Ashley my business and they have lost me as a formerly faithful customer. We ordered a bedroom set in September. Was told delivery would be October. Set was delayed 3 times due to the same headboard apparently breaking each time. I believe they never ordered a replacement headboard at all. Could not reach customer service at all. Store would "attempt" to make right each time but could not get anything right. First delivery was wrong item and second attempt was damaged. The last time the items were supposed to be delivered we were called and told they would be there in one hour and never showed. Finally cancelled. Big Sandy sold us the same set cheaper and was delivered within 1 week of purchase. Stay away customer service is terrible read more

Has anyone ever received an order from this Ashley Homestore? This store has strung me out for over 2 months! I ordered a "stock" recliner as a Christmas present at the beginning of December, the store said it was not in stock (should have been my first red flag) & that I won't come in until after Christmas, which we were ok with, the recliner didn't come in January either. Now it is February, they still don't have it, no end in sight. The reviews at the other Ashley's isn't this bad, I should have went to the Gemini Place location. Do not do business with the store if you purchase anything that has a power component to it. I purchased an oversized power recliner on 04/20/2019, they delivered it on 05/06/2019, and it quit working on 05/23/2019. Took until 06/05/19 to get the "repair" guy here. He. of course, has no parts with him so they have to mail me a new power model that goes into the wall. He assures me this is the problem. The model arrives on 06/08/19. I can assure you that it is not the power model as the chair still does not work. I called Ashley again and they want nothing to do with this inferior product. They just connected you with the service center out of Dayton. They set up another visit with the repair folks but I will be waiting another week. Ashley refuses to replace the chair. I refuse to accept this and have reported them to the Ohio Attorney General's Office for selling an inferior product and not standing by their customer. read more

We are extremely disappointed and frustrated with this store. We ordered a dining room table and chairs which were delivered on 12-31-19. Within a month the legs of the chairs became loose. We contacted the store and was told they couldn't help us and we needed to contact customer service. We contacted customer service and they said we needed to contact the factory but did not provide a way for us to do that. We have been going back and forth with Ashley since March but we cannot get this resolved. If you call customer service you will be on hold for over an hour and then you will probably be disconnected. We are planning to contact the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. We have no rating, but had to do a one to enter this discussion, as this buying experience has been hell on earth. Bought a mattress, that would not fit up the staircase. There was not a No return policy discussed at the time of purchase. My husband offered to try and have at our expense remove the arm railing leading up to save everyone problems. The delivery men said no problem as we had seven days to return the mattresses and the mattress cover. Even that did not work. Out of pocket for that attempt. My husband called the store and spoke with layers of management until we were told at a higher level, "she does not speak to people." Are you people nuts? Know this, we will get a refund, and if not, we have a plan to disparage this malarkey on social media, with an attorney, and the attorney general of Ohio, my husband begins radiation therapy monday, I am in NO MOOD. read more

I came in here with my mom to look for a dining room table and possibly a set of couches. I really liked the set up of the store - it made me feel like I was at home. It had a bit variety in the styles and types of furniture it carried. What really turned me off was that nobody greeted us or offered to help. One woman we asked did not seem interested in helping us or directing us to someone who could help. I saw employees just standing around talking with each other. One employee was laid out on a couch on her phone. One guy finally came over and answered all our questions and took the time to walk around with us. We ended up not buying anything because we weren't happy with our choices. Cheaply made furniture does not hold up. I purchased a sectional and within two years the bottom fell out so when you sit in it sinks. I purchased the warranty but it did not cover the springs. I also purchased a table and chairs. The table I though was wood but it turned out to be partial board and so when it got wet it swelled and lost its stain on the edges. Any attempt to restrain did not work because it's not real wood. The chairs broke as well. I would have been better off buying from IKEA! read more

After looking at several furniture stores around the Columbus area, we decided to take a look at Ashley Furniture. We were pleasantly surprised at their selection and ended up buying several pieces of furniture from Bill Anderson. He was great to work with as he was really accommodating and patient with us. We ordered pieces, but were disappointed the delivery date would be AFTER a big party at our house. We ordered it anyway. Imagine our pleasant surprise when Bill called the next day and said he could get half the furniture delivered in time for the party. Very cool of him to make the effort. To top off our experience, one piece just did not work once we got it into the house. I called customer service within the 7 day grace period and told them as much. They have it arranged to be picked up and refunded to our credit card. Excellent experience overall and we will be back. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Do not order over the phone with these clowns at this location. They will tell you furniture was delivered and signed for even if you have not received it. Then they will "close" your account because it was shown as delivered. We did not receive nor sign for any bedroom furniture so it was obviously delivered to another home or kept by their dishonest delivery service employees from Fairborn, OH. They said it was signed for, but obviously they "could not read the signature"--what a surprise! After speaking with 4 different staff at this location, they all told me what I wanted to hear and did not follow up AT ALL. It would be great if employees would actually do their job. I had to call 5/3 to have my credit card charge disputed because they had already charged my account over $1,200, even though I never received the furniture 3 weeks later. Do yourself a favor and order from Macy's or any other furniture store with reliable store staff and honest, reliable delivery staff. I purposely walked passed 4 of the workers and not a single one said "is there anything we can help you with". They either looked the other way or started talking to each other. I will never order from Ashley Furniture again and am contemplating canceling my entire order at this rate. I ordered a couch in October and was told at the absolute latest it would be here by 12/5, but could expect it sooner (around Thanksgiving). I checked in with the store in November (the day Biden was called the President-elect : ) )to see when I could expect it and they then updated me with 1/11/21. I told them this was unacceptable so the manager told me he would make sure it is to me by December 5th. Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone, and my couch was supposed to be delivered this Saturday. I checked and now it says 1/19/21. I moved here from out of state and have been couch-less this entire time. I am about to take my business elsewhere to a place that will provide me with something I paid for in a timely manner (even with COVID turnaround times), and a company that actually provides customer service unlike Ashley Furniture. This is completely unacceptable especially bc each time nobody has informed me of these unnecessary delivery date push backs! read more

I purchased 5 items from this store. Delivery was rescheduled 3 times within 2 weeks. The first attempted delivery was supposed to have all 5 items, only had 2/5. The delivery guy "forgot" to put 75% of the order in the truck. The second attempted delivery brought all 3 items, BUT only successfully delivered 2. The delivery man said he was going back to the truck to retrieve the 3rd item, but instead got in his truck and LEFT. Had to pick up remaining item at the store. Also, my box springs that arrived was not the one I ordered, and when the one I actually ordered finally came, it HAD A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM! Brand new and has a hole? Not to mention the fact the delivery guy knocked my tv over when he placed the box springs in my bedroom. Great quality furniture but the delivery SUCKS!! They need to hire NEW delivery personnel that actually care and want to make your experience worth the $149 delivery fee.You're only as good as your service and my experience was a nightmare. Buyers beware of their delivery and customer service. I love my new furniture but it was an absolute nightmare to actually get the furniture. This should be a negative 1!!!! We purchased a sectional about two weeks ago, it was delivered May 10! That day the spring on the end popped. Tried contacting the store and the phone just rang off the hook! The next day managed to contact the salesman who told us to call a number who told us to call another number. The person on the last number said to send pictures we did the person wanted a flash picture! Sorry we aren't professional photographers. If I were the manager of this location I would want to make sure my customers were 100% satisfied and be on the phone calling them. This manager isn't apparently! If we aren't contacted today they can come and pick up the sectional! I will also be looking for another furniture store to make my purchases in the future! Decidedly average. (My review is based on browsing, not buying, but maybe useful for other shoppers.) Pros: -Prices seemed low--they were re-tagging hundreds of items cheaper when I was in the store. -Lots of items. -Staff was friendly without shadowing every step. Cons: -While it's a big store, selection is narrow. You have to like oversized furniture. And neutral colors--browns, tans & black leather with few exceptions. Can't address quality--didn't find anything worth a close look at, but my guess is they are similar to their near neighbor Value City. read more

I went here on Memorial Day Weekend just to check out the specials. I ended up buying a couch and a loveseat. The selection isn't huge, but it is bigger than other stores I've been too. The prices were decent, and almost everything was on sale. The employees weren't pushy with me, and once I had decided what I wanted I was out in five minutes. Overall a good experience. The sales person had no issues with us spending 3000+ at the store. My only issue was I can't be home between 2:20-2:50 because I'm picking my son up at school. Sales man never said anything about delivery or time. I find out 2 days ahead they only deliver on Wednesday and Thursday and they set the time. They set mine at 1-3 and charge me $100 if I'm not there. It's been a huge hassle with the company. I love the furniture, but I feel like once you buy it, it's screw you good luck getting a good delivery time. The manager of that store doesn't seem to care once you buy it either and refused to say anything to the salesman and she was completely rude on the phone. There are way to many places to buy furniture so I won't be going back and I will not suggest this store to anyone. I got my couches today, the 18th. It broke after we sat on it. Wow, so can I say extremely rude employees. Ive been there two other times and never once received help. This time we walked in and an employee actually made eye contact so i thought good we will get some help. He proceeded to frown and turn his back to us. So I went up to ask for help and he actually proceeded to ignore me. Finally, he acknowledge me and was extremely rude and short with me. I decided to leave immediately and I have no intention on going back. Don't waste your time with Ashley Furniture unless you like dealing with rude and unhelpful people. We were told 4-6 week for shipping. I called today to verify everything was still on (about 5 weeks in at this point). I was told the item won't ship until April. Nobody informed us of the change in when to expect our furniture. There's a big difference between 4-6 and 14-16 (namely the difference is about 10 weeks, if you're not math-saavy). Annoying and Frustrating. Nobody on the phone seemed to give a shit. Overall: might as well pick up furniture off the curb or use rent a center instead if you want to make sure you have a better experience than we did. read more

Agree with the poor customer service as mentioned by many. Our end table was the wrong color when it arrived. We decided to return it. They said that it would take a few weeks for the refund to show up on our statement. When we called back to check on the refund, they said that our new order was at the store for pick up. We explained that we had returned the item and asked for a refund, and each time the reply was "ok, we'll refund the money but it will take a few weeks for it to show up on the statement". This has occurred twice now, a "few weeks" apart. Today, we called about this a third time. Same answer. The representative on the phone blamed the store employees for the continued "mix-up". The bottom line is that we wouldn't get a refund if we don't keep hassling them. Whether this is incompetence or a tactic is unknown but it is bad business practice nonetheless and we feel that others should be warned. read more
