I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture Store. Our delivery was scheduled on our anniversary, and I took the day off anticipating a smooth and enjoyable experience. However, the $2000 love seat we ordered arrived severely damaged, looking as though it had been dragged across concrete. In addition to this, the coffee table had a visible ding, and the office chair was also damaged. To make matters worse, they delivered the wrong furniture items altogether. On top of these issues, we were promised wall art as compensation, but it ended up being an added charge on our bill. Even after waiting two weeks for the correct piece, they delivered the wrong one. It has now been three weeks, and the rest of our furniture pieces have yet to be delivered, leaving us frustrated and dissatisfied. To add insult to injury, the movers caused damage to our freshly painted column at the front door. I walked into Ashley's yesterday with my husband to waste some time and to window shop. Little did I know I was leaving with an entire bedroom set! I had a WONDERFUL experience. Sara greeted us as we walked into the door and immediately helped us. I was so indesicive because I LOVED everything in the store. I literally contemplated different sets for at least 2 hours. Sara just smiled and accommodated all of my questions. She was so helpful and sweet. Bill, who I think was the manager also helped us work some little issues out and he thanks us for business. We visited the Brunswick location on Black Friday to shop for a new dining set for our SSI house. After telling the sales consultant Wendy Pennington what we were looking for she quickly led us to three great options that met all of our criteria. After making our choice ordering was easy and although the furniture was not in stock locally it was delivered and assembled the following Tuesday. They asked about our needs and showed us a wide range of mattresses that would fit our needs. They did not try to pressure sale or force their top end products on us, but gave us great options for our budget so that we could make a great decision. I have a very small living room they took my measurements and transferred furniture measurements and placed on graph paper(to scale) to make sure furniture would fit nicely. I went in looking for a box spring for immediate purchase. There wasn't one available. The associate Sheri was helpful in giving us some other suggestions. We did a rest test and she was informative about mattresses and we found one we love. We will definitely be back in to purchase the things needed for our new home from her! The store is big. There is a pretty big selection. The employees go above and beyond to help. The prices are pretty decent.
