I wish it could go lower. In the store very helpful but delivery and after the sale awful. We ordered outdoor furniture March 28th. They delivered the couch and it was damaged. They delivered the chairs and again damaged. Same type of marks. So either they are damaged in transit or no one cares. We sent then back and if course you are out back on the list to wait. We are now told don't expect anything until July 9th. So much for the holiday. They also do not give you the courtesy of a call. We have had to call each time to check. The STORE DOES NOT CARE. Do yourself a favor and stay clear. read more

A very unhappy customer, will not recommend, truly thought this was a reputable business, so glad I chose not to purchase more than what we did, will definitely be going elsewhere to give our business on the rest of the furniture we are looking for. We ordered over $5,000.00 in furniture and have been waiting 2 1/2 months for our furniture. The salesman in the Anniston, AL store assured us our order would arrive in 2-3 weeks. No one bothered to contact us, and after several weeks of waiting, we spoke with the store office manager who kept telling us that they were doing all they could and sending emails to someone, yet our furniture was still nowhere to be found. After 10 weeks of waiting and pleading with the store to find out where our order was, we finally had our family members contact a friend they knew in corporate management. We found out there that the store knew from the day we ordered that our pieces would not even be available for at least two months. After learning that we were lied to by the store so they could make the sale, we finally contacted the delivery center. They had part of our order and delivered it last week, assuring us that the remaining furniture would arrive this week and be delivered this Friday. Again, no one contacted us as we promised to set up a time for Friday. After taking Friday off work and calling to find out why no one had called, the delivery center kept telling me that they have our furniture but don't show it being delivered this week. This is completely unacceptable. Now after 2 1/2 months, the furniture is setting in the delivery center, and a truck is coming to our city Friday, and even though we were promised the furniture would arrive to us this Friday, they now say they "don't show it set up to be delivered this week." Again, we were promised it would arrive, and again, someone forgot to call us to set up a time for delivery, and again, we are spending another day trying to chase down our furniture that was ordered 2 1/2 months ago. This company is extremely unprofessional and incompetent. We still do not have our furniture, and no one with Ashley Home Store seems to care at all. read more

Absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life!! Still waiting on furniture I purchased 3 months ago. I have taken off work on 3 different occasions for delivery and still do not have all of my furniture. I purchased a dining room table set and a kitchen table set. I have contacted the warehouse in Bessemer on several occasions and get the same response each time I am able to speak to someone... we will check on it and call you back and never get a phone call back. I contacted the store and ask them to cancel my kitchen table set and they told me I would be responsible for a restock fee... WHY?? There is nothing to restock!! I was told that they would have to contact the district representative in order to cancel an order without paying a restock fee. I asked for the contact information so I could contact this individual and was told they could not give it to me. I was informed that the office manager sent an email and this has now been two weeks ago and she has not even received a reply from this person. I am absolutely fed up!! Last week I was contacted by Valerie at the warehouse to arrange for delivery. I asked her to please have someone check the order to make sure everything was there before I arranged to take another day off of work. She called me back about two hours later and said she had confirmed the order was in the warehouse. On Wednesday morning, the scheduled delivery date, I received a call that there was an issue with one of the chairs and I would not receive the complete order!! Now I am at their mercy again, still waiting to complete my order. This means that I will have to take a fourth day off of work sometime in the future. Again, absolute worst experience ever! I would never recommend them to anyone! P.S. They do not deserve any stars but in order to post a review, you must choose a star rating! read more
