Selection: I feel like the big problem with a lot of these little boutiques is they run out of smalls quickly. I never have that problem here. Everything is cute and reasonably priced. My favorite part though is THE SALE RACK. Today I got a skirt for $10, and once I got a dress for $4! If I want to treat myself but not spend a lot. I head straight for that rack. She was an older white woman with short hair. When my sister and I walked in, she didn't greet us. Instead, she looked us up and down and walked away. We immediately felt disrespected, but we decided to continue browsing and see what the store had to offer. After a while, one of the other employees did eventually ask how I was doing, which I appreciated. However, the initial interaction really left a lasting impression. I had heard other women of color share similar experiences at this store, which was actually one of the reasons it took me so long to shop here in the first place. Unfortunately, my experience seemed to confirm the concerns I had heard from others. It's disappointing because the store itself is beautiful and has such a great selection, but the way we were treated made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

I'd like to note that my review is based solely on my experience attempting to sell items, not on shopping at the store. I spent over 40 minutes at this location trying to sell a large tote full of clothes and shoes. In the end, they only offered me $8 total for two items - a pair of American Eagle jeans and a pair of snakeskin booties, both in like-new condition. When I initially submitted my items around 2:00 PM, I was told that if I stayed in the store, my items would be prioritized and the process would take approximately 15-20 minutes. However, if I left, I was told my items would continue to be bumped to the bottom of the list, there would be no estimated completion time, and I would likely not receive a text until later that evening to come and collect my items. After waiting about 35 minutes, I finally approached the counter to ask for an update. It was only then that my ticket was processed and I was given an offer. Even after that, I had to wait another five minutes before everything was completed. In my opinion, the process felt unnecessarily drawn out. It's clearly designed to encourage customers to browse the store, with hopes that all of the money/offer stays in house. Smart marketing tactic on their part, but an inconvenience for customers. If you're looking to resell clothing items, I recommend trying a platform like Poshmark instead, where you have more control over pricing and aren't left waiting around for an offer that may be far below what you expected.

As we were looking at jewelry the girl in the yellow dress immediately began watching/following us. I wanted to believe it wasn't happening as this is a first for me; however, it in fact was. We still bought a few items but wish I would've taken my money elsewhere. I'm a little disappointed that my teen daughter had to experience this. The girl at the register was extremely nice and I wish employees wouldn't assume that someone is going to steal based on their looks. I get that it's a small store and no company wants to lose revenue but following customers and assuming is not a good look and makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience.
