Like other Rue 21s that I have been in, its crowded and full of stuff everywhere. It is hard to go in and get out fast because the sales are all over the place. Use your smarts and be a bargain hunter and you cannot go wrong here. They keep you coming back by handing out great coupons at the register. The only thing I do not care for is that the women's sizes only go to XL and have a tendency to run small. I really wish their corporate office would realize the money-making potential they could have if they went larger, up to larger women's sizes because the market is out there!

Overalls tend to run big, but the new design of short overalls are true to size.** Important info I went to a pottery convention earlier this year and Duluth Trading Co overalls were everywhere! I had forgotten about it until they popped up as an ad on my IG and I hadn't even thought about new overalls in months! But they had a great Mother's Day sale going and as a new customer- I got extra off. I ordered online and John mentioned he thought there was one up at River City Marketplace. Today (Mother's Day) we were headed to the National Cemetery to visit mom and stopped into the store and I snagged a couple pairs of overall shorts. I tried them on and found out that I am a smaller size than what I ordered online! Great problem to have- but when they come in the mail I can exchange them at the store. I got the same deal as online because I signed up for their text message program and got an additional 20% off on top of the sale prices- woohoo. And John and I both enjoyed the store as a whole. We were offered assistance numerous time by various staff and one associate made sure I knew about the text savings. Our location here in Jacksonville is the only location in Florida too! Based out of the midwest, they have a location map located at the back of the store. John even read a bit of their company history and compared it to the tv show Outdoor Man with Tim Allen. Good, solid, American company. I will be back and I will be shopping more ;) **2023 Update- I have shopped even more and even got John to buy a few things. The store is divided the east side for plus and west for regular sizes. They carry shirts, blouses, camisoles, tank tops, under garments, pants, skirts and dresses. They also Have cardigans, dusters and vests. They also have shoes, socks and sandals. The prices are pretty reasonable. The store is usually clean and the service is good. Checkout can be a bit slow but that is true for all Cato's. I do like that if you find something you like and they don't have the size, they will check other stores in the area and can have it put on hold for you.

The selection is almost equal regular and plus size which is uncommon to find in a clothing store as plus size is generally crammed in a back area. This store gives plus size a full half of the store. It is a refreshing shopping experience. So far the times I have been here I have been able to find something I like. There is a nice variety of clothing options and they carry shoes and accessories as well. The prices are also great, much lower than I had expected. If you find anything on clearance, it is sure to be a good deal.

I came in on October 2, and once again, the line was very long. There were other employees in the store who appeared to be standing around while the checkout line continued to back up. I really wish they would open additional registers when the line gets this long. I've waited 20-30 minutes just to check out, which is ridiculous. Many times, I end up leaving without purchasing anything because the wait is simply too long. If you shop at this location, expect a long wait at checkout. You may be better off going to a different Ross location unless they improve their checkout process and open more registers during busy times.

This store has a great inventory of product on hand and does a really nice job rotating seasonal items in and out. I particularly like the out rotation of items that find themselves on the clearance Rack sometimes at bottom basement prices! I go right for that men's clearance rack upon entering the store which mind you is always clean and well staffed. Recently we've gone during the peak periods and the register lines get pretty backed up but love that when this happens you can always count in hearing that announcement for "all staff to the front registers!" The line moves pretty well and it's worth the wait especially since Old Navy gives a decent military discount. I'll continue to be a regular customer and recommend that you check out Old Navy for some good old fashioned sales clearance item shopping!

Overall, I found my dress, heels, veil, and some wedding accessories all at the same time! Reese was so helpful and made the experience feel like I was at a specialty boutique. Ever though I live two hours away I had my alterations appointment and picked my dress up from this store because the customer service was unmatched.
