I recall Gabriel Garcia, the owner giving me a quote that was quite high. He followed his high bid by saying "I could do something for less but you would not be very satisfied"...I can't imagine a system that would be worse. I had hired FLI to redo an irrigation system for a terraced backyard. I had 3 different systems that serviced a grassy yard, a garden area, and a terrace. Each system had it's own timer. When I was done I had black 1'irrigation pipe zigzagging overground, with sparse drip emitters (many of my established shrubs died due to the heat of the summer). My garden beds, grass and terraced shrubs were now only on one system (so I was over-watering or underwatering one or the other section). To boot where my grass was dug up, it was left unlevel, unseeded, and dirt was all over my walkways and patio. I really should have known better when my renters called me to tell me the service man backed into my mailbox and knock down my front natural retaining wall. He didn't acknowledge or fix it until I physically approached him about it, then did a quick and dirty job with concrete and mortar (which didn't match and still sticks out).

I walked in here yesterday because my friend Matt needed to stop and check something in his car. Looks better if I'm "shopping" rather than just lingering in their parking lot. So I went in, and took a look around. I was actually really curious about the store and what they sold. So I was totally game to go in. Who knows what you can find in a store you've never been in? I might have even learned something new! The guy working was helping a customer. Didn't even acknowledge that I existed, so I wandered. The customer left, and I still didn't exist to the guy working. Matt comes in, and the employee makes sure to greet him, ask him if he was looking for anything specific. Not overly friendly, but actually offering him some decent customer service. I'm not a fan of anyone who uses my gender to base their level of customer service on or how much they're going to offer to help me. Which is exactly what happened in here. As Matt and I were walking around, we found some home pond ideas. They do sell the tubs to create a pond in your backyard, which is actually really cool. Now, back to my original serial killer comment... they carry copious amounts of shovels, industrial-grade duct tape, heavy-duty rubber gloves, flags for like sprinklers, and more along those lines. If I were going to murder someone and planned it out, I'd probably come here for all of the supplies to dispose of my victims. Small town, poor customer service because of being a female, unlimited supplies. It's literally perfect for that kind of thing! Which is sadly, the most memorable thing about my visit in here. How perfect this place is if I ever needed those kind of supplies. I don't plan on it, for the record, but that was what I noticed. Would I return? Only if I become a serial killer, as I would actually need this store. Past that, no. I am quite sure I can find the pond supplies much closer to home and with better customer service.
