My fridge broke after only 3 years but I had the 5 year extended warranty. The Brick uses a…read morewarranty company out of Edmonton that doesn't have a clue what they are doing and they gave me the run around for 3 weeks. They don't have a local technician to fix it, sent the wrong guy to look at the fridge the first time, want to send another guy in a two weeks, blah blah blah. No answers, just excuses and more wait times. The warranty company even offered me $1500 to just go away! On a $3000 fridge with extended warranty! Insulting to say the least. The manager at the Brick seems like he half cares and took it upon himself to ship my fridge to Calgary himself and send me a loaner fridge to get me by in the mean time. The best part? The loaner fridge they delivered is broken too....... In the future, I will be looking for a place that honours their warranty service locally before making a large appliance purchase. Updated: I should add that at the time of purchase the salesman was very helpful and not overly pushy. I think the manager that has been helping me deal with the terrible warranty service is probably doing his best but the warranty company doesn't seem to inform him about anything either. The entire process has left me very frustrated and I'm still not sure when my fridge might be done. Hoping this second loaner fridge works better than the first one.

No later than Saturday he said as the items is in stock. She asked him again 3 times more to confirm the delivery was going to be on Saturday, and he did. To our surprise, and after calling the store on Saturday, no delivery was arranged. It seems to me that this store takes your money, promise delivery when they have no stock. It is sad that the owner allows these dirty and unethical sales tactics just to get sales. Shame on you !!!!!!!!

We bought 2 recliners with a delivery charge of $157. The purchase was based on sitting on the…read morefloor model. The floor model was comfortable in every way. Chair back height was perfect. Seat comfort was great (medium soft). Foot-rest extension was perfect. The 2 chairs that were delivered were nothing like the floor model we sat in. The chair back was too short. Ditto for the extended foot rest. The seat covering was tight and uncomfortable. There was no softness to it. We feel that we werent shipped the chairs we thought we bought. We went back to the store and explained all this to the manager who was deaf to what we said. He tolds us to bring the chairs back to the store for a refund less a 35% restocking fee!! We asked if someone from the store could come and pick up the chairs. We would gladly pay for that. NO was the answer. We asked if he knew anyone in town we could pay to come and pick them up. NO was the answer. He just didnt care. We we told the chairs were discontinued, and because of that the chair we had sat in was sold at a discount right off the floor, so we couldnt compare its measurements with the ones of the delivered chairs. How convenient! We are feeling we received a version of a bait and switch scam.

The ideal chair was here, but I had one on a private sale to review, and I was not happy to hear that the delivery charges are in $100. The private sale chair was not what I wanted, and it was more expensive than the chair at the Brick. What to do? I went to the Brick web page, and found a super deal, the Leap Year Day promo....FREE Shipping. As soon as the store opened, I was there. I sat in the chair , laid back, got up and sat down again. This is the chair for me. Alexa rememberd me from my visit several days previously, and chair is purchased, delivery FREE scheduled for March 6/2024. Reason 4 stars is simply that I am not yet in possesion of the chair. Thanks to Alexa and the Brick.
