Amazing selection and VERY knowledgeable staff. Can be expensive place to visit as they have so many cool things that my wife needs for the yard! GREAT place to visit before Christmas as well. Hot Apple drink is a lure to get me in on a cold day. A very good selection of wild bird feeders and food! read more

When my husband unloaded it at home he commented that the tree trunk was pretty crooked at the base. Given the spot we'd selected for it we determined to exchange it as soon as possible (there were plenty of other choices of the same type of pine tree). The day being late we didn't do it that day. We watered it as the day was quite warm. The next day was Sunday and Coaldale Nurseries is closed. The next day (Monday) didn't allow for us to exchange it either as we both work. That brings us to today, Tuesday, when we determined to set out from Lethbridge to Coaldale to make what we thought would be a quick exchange of trees. Even with our receipt showing the recent date of purchase and our explanation (in a reasonable and calm fashion) of the circumstances we were told a firm no. When we finally got to speak with a manager we found him just as stand-offish and unreasonable. Their sign clearly states "No refunds- in store credit only". We weren't even looking for a refund. Just a simple exchange. Or, like their sign said, we thought we could get a store credit and use it towards another one with a straight tree trunk. Real disappointing especially since we go out of our way to support small businesses. Will not be shopping here again unfortunately.

The "cotton candy" bouquet. My mom just sent me a picture of the flowers she was delivered this afternoon and I'm gutted. They look nothing the same, and not nearly the same quality and calibre as what I was expecting. Sigh. I guess I can't say it's entirely their fault, but next time I'll definitely order through someone else in hopes the product matches the order, both in product and presentation. In the interim, there's nothing I can do, but I'm definitely disappointed. See the photos I've posted for comparison. Heartbreak.

We were extremely pleased with the sales service as I'm disabled and needed more support than most. They took into consideration that my back is very bad and suggested that I get firmer cushions at no extra charge although it is a special order. What was particularly nice is that the building I live in is currently undergoing extermination for a very severe bedbug infestation and it will not be complete for a month. They offered to keep the furniture in their warehouse until such time as the building is certified clear. This was most impressive. With all these factors in mind we decided to cancel looking at any other store. Besides there was a sale on so it was a bit cheaper than normal even tho still more than Ashley and the brick but I'm sure less than lazyboy. It's not every day you get a new sofa meant to last probably the rest of your life!

She's picky about what she puts on her racks, no tears, pilling, stains, just quality clothing. I think everything I've purchased here has gone into my regular rotation. I hate shopping, but I actually have fun here. Cay is honest about what does and doesn't work, and the atmosphere is fun. Other shoppers often compliment one another on their finds and share ideas about accessories. You can also keep to yourself if that's your preference. My boyfriend even felt comfortable there. There are regular specials (follow them on Facebook) and she put out treats for the holidays. I feel part of a community there. It's a special type of place you don't find often.
