I've been coming to this florist for almost a year because it's close by, and I wanted to support a…read morelocal business. However, I've encountered a few issues along the way. There often aren't many arrangements to choose from, and they frequently seem to be out of the flowers I want for a bouquet. Today, though, I was particularly disappointed when I found out that the $10 coupons I've been saving are only valid for one per purchase. During my last visit, the cashier gave me another coupon, and I specifically mentioned that I had others and would use them on my next visit. So when I came in today, I had to settle for an arrangement I liked, but it came in a vase. Since I already have too many vases, I asked if I could purchase the arrangement without one. The employee helping me went to check, but I was told that wasn't an option. I then requested a custom arrangement, but due to limited flower availability, I ended up purchasing the original arrangement with the vase. At checkout, I asked for the total price, including a few added carnations. When I went to use my three coupons, I was informed--by the same employee I had spoken to before--that only one could be used per visit. This was frustrating, as I wasn't told about this restriction earlier. After my purchase, they gave me another coupon, so I checked the back, and there was no mention of a one-per-visit policy. What bothered me most was when the cashier justified the policy by saying that other florists also limit coupon use to one per visit. I explained that I've never been to a florist that offers coupons, so how was I supposed to know this unwritten rule? Overall, this experience left me disappointed, and I hope the store improves its communication about policies in the future, especially if they want to retain good customers.

I have picked up flowers here before for Mother's Day at my church. They always have a fresh selection of fresh flowers.

There was mold throughout, stems with no flowers and flowers that appeared to have been frozen. The store clerk shared with the owner with hopes of a refund. Owner insisted on sending a new bouquet. These to arrived with mold and frozen flowers. I shared pictures again with the store clerk who advised I speak directly to the owner. I called left a message requesting to be contacted. I later received a text from store owner. She kept telling me there were no frozen flowers and I needed to trim stems and place in water. The conversation was not very pleasant with her belittling me. She tried to accuse me of leaving them on my doorstep but courier handed them to me. When I tried to explain the frozen flowers, she told me to look at the flowers and not the green stems/leaves. Disregarding my explanation. When I requested a refund she repl " We are unable to do that. The flowers need a chance to be in water to bloom. " As the owner of a business you would think they would want to know of any product concerns. We have ordered in the past and had good success with fruit and candy. The customer service received by the owner this time around was terrible. We will not be ordering from them again. Nor will any of our family and friends. This experience ruined it for us. Even when a compliment was given for the candies and fruit received that we didn't have issues with, owner never replied.

I get that it is the holiday rush but at the very least train your delivery folks appropriately to ask permission, when I called the store, they asked for forgiveness :( And it is always easy to ask for forgiveness than permission, but from a reputed company. That is sad. On the arrangement itself, it was meh! It could absolutely be because my taste buds were soured because of the entire picture fiasco. I contacted corporate and just asked them to remove the pic and please ensure training to ensure that this does not happen to anyone. Edit - so the franchise owner Candace called to illustrate the policy of taking pics, and I kept reiterating that it was nothing against the policy of taking pics but how you execute that matters and this was done in poor taste. She clearly was not onboard with this and insisted that this is company policy to which I shared with her that I already contacted corporate to make sure that they get that I am not against the policy but just how the local store executes it, and only thing, I am requesting is to ask for consent.
