I, along with several of my friends had inquired about the consignment process, and had heard that this business allows you to bring in your clothing, and they keep what they want and donate the rest without asking you if you want it back or not (as in returning your items is not an option). Once you take your clothing to them, you receive NOTHING back. If I want to donate the clothing, then I will take it to the place of my choosing and get the tax deduction for myself. That being said, that's their choice to make, and I respect their decision. However, when my friend group and I called up to the Clotheshorse to inquire if this was their policy, the owner answered the phone. I cannot tell you how rude and condescending this man was. I was simply asking if this was the store policy and he informed me that "Yes, and if you want your stuff back, you can take it somewhere else and when they return it, you can take it home and keep it FOREVER." I told him that all of the clothing that I would bring to consign was expensive and name brand boy's clothing like Vinyard Vines, Polo, Burlebo, etc. He literally laughed and said "Yeah, we don't really even really take Vineyard Vine anymore...so....." You would have thought I was scum on his shoes from the way that he spoke to me. It absolutely infuriated me, and I can't imagine treating my customers in this manner, ESPECIALLY as the owner. The girls that work at the store are very friendly and the manager- Amber is truly wonderful. The male owner needs to refrain from answering the phone or speaking with customers. He is definitely a repellant. Hands down the worst customer service from an owner that I have ever experienced.

Lesley gives high quality customer service and will help you to find the best outfit or accessories for each and every individual. Lesley also takes the extra effort to go to fashion shows in places like New York and LA to find the newest clothing lines for her store. This often means that the designer clothes and any other accessories she puts in her store will not be found in any other store in the region. If you are looking for something unique to wear that nobody else will be wearing Manhattan South is worth the few extra minute's drive outside of the Summit.

Selection is pretty good, considering this store isn't that large overall. They have pretty good sales all over the store. Most things fall into 60% - 70% off of the listed price. The back right hand side of the store has clearance items that are 70% off plus an additional 25% off. Several (I'm guessing last years items) clearance items have original sticker prices of $250 - $400 .... after savings they run anywhere from $60 - about $100. Good deals to be found if you take a few minutes to look. Seems like high quality and my wife was happy with her purchase. They took great care to wrap it nicely to protect the item.
