I was given a gift card to this place by a good friend. I was able to talk with the manager (or maybe owner) and she told me they work with 400 cooperatives in 59 countries across the world. The first time I went, I didn't buy anything because there were so many different things and I wanted more time to really look at everything. There were household goods, instruments, shoes, blankets, jewelry, art, and so much more. Prices range from low to high, but all are fairly priced to help promote economic development in the countries that send the goods. The second time I went, I took my husband with me. He settled on a Gourd Shaker made in Peru and I purchased earrings made in Kenya. While we were there, we saw a djembe that we will probably go back and get. I highly suggest you stop by. You'll probably find several things you like! Oh, this place is great for finding unique gifts. I'll be a repeat customer.

I half-heartedly agreed but thought it would be interesting to see what a pageant coach and stylist might choose for me. David didn't ask and I didn't suggest a budget, we just wanted to see what looked good. Dress #5 was the one! And I didn't look at prices until after I chose it. Turns out I had tried on gowns far more expensive but he didn't once try to steer me towards something more costly.
