Performing a Feng Shui consultation is basically like doing Acupuncture on your house. So, when Geralyn and I have "shop talk" it's definitely pretty interesting! Although we haven't been able to cure my incredibly stubborn migraines, I always feel like I'm floating on a cloud when I leave. I think Acupuncture is something you MUST do on a regular basis, especially in this crazy world we live in. Admittedly, I was a bit unsure about acupuncture. I had heard great things about it, but it was hard for me to understand how such tiny, hair-thin needles could impact physical health. Despite my reservations, I was really impressed with Geralyn's thoroughness, professionalism and knowledge at my initial assessment. Based on some of my other health symptoms she made recommendations for me to see her regularly for a few months. I was blown away with how I felt after my first appointment. I had also been experience digestive issues and after just one session I noticed a big difference. Over the course of the next few months I noticed other changes in my overall well-being, health and cycles. Then, in October I found out I was pregnant! I'm now 6-months pregnant and have continued to see Geralyn for treatment to help support me through the pregnancy. I've felt great! After seeing Geralyn for almost a year, I not only would encourage anyone thinking about acupuncture to try a session, but also highly recommend Geralyn herself. Beyond her professionalism, Geralyn is an incredibly warm, kind and intuitive person. She'd always seem to know exactly what type of treatment I needed that week and helped to create a space for deep relaxation and healing at her practice. I'm so grateful I found her services!

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
