After looking through what seemed like hundreds of photographers, my husband and I chose In Tandem…read morefor our engagement photos and our wedding in October 2013. Not only are Sarah and Adam some of the nicest people on the face of the planet, but they're super easy to work with and they craft images that are artsy and truly capture moments in time -- none of the cheesy staged stuff that you see in most wedding photography. Michael and I went with them to a carnival in Dripping Springs, TX for our engagement photos. I wasn't sure Michael would fare well doing the engagement photos since he's a guy and would probably rather be watching a football game. Sarah and Adam made it so fun that he was into it in no time. We both felt really comfortable with them and the images turned out great! They were really interesting pictures because of the cool setting and how relaxed we felt. Sarah and Adam went with us to New Orleans for our wedding (we are Austin based) and they captured every detail, from both of us getting ready in our separate rooms through the second line parade we had at the end of the night. My favorite part was that they really captured the atmosphere and the feeling. I remember hearing a band on the street outside my hotel balcony and there's a picture of it! Every little detail I had in my mind that made my day special was captured on film. We also chose the photo booth option, which I have done before at other weddings and special events. In Tandem's is radically different in that participants can start the camera themselves, see their images and even Faceebook, Tweet, or email them to themselves right from the event. Guests had a blast with this! If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go with In Tandem. They're the best there is.

All the vendors involved from cake, florist, officiant, photographer, and videographer were amazing to work with. Cassie was outstanding to coordinate with - she helped us through every step of the process. Meghan Rolfe was also such an amazing photographer. We also worked with Heartistree Studios for our wedding video and could not have been happier with the final product. I loved that EO gave the option to have a true elopement OR a micro-wedding. After emailing back and forth with Meghan, we pretty much had everything decided-- it was that easy! As we got closer to the wedding, I was in contact with Cassie, who could not have been more sweet! She made sure I was kept in the loop the whole time and made sure to address any questions or concerns really quickly. Our officiant, Michael, was great and really listened to what we wanted. He was also super cool about us adding our own vows with only about a month til the wedding. Our photographer, Amy, was also really sweet and very understanding when makeup was a bit late. Although I haven't seen pictures yet, I'm confident that they'll be beautiful. We had a very small ceremony (8 guests) at The Cabin Ridge in Hendersonville. What an amazing venue!! Pictures don't even do this place justice. The guys and gals had separate cabins to get ready in, which was perfect for hair and makeup and avoiding wrinkled suits from the car. The wedding day assistant, Ginny, was a dream to work with and even put up my arch decor while I got ready! If you're looking for something that takes the normal "wedding stress" off the table, Elope Outdoors is it. They took care of the photography, flowers, officiant and venue. Although a bit biased, our family said it was the best wedding they've been to. :)

Sierra. Is. The. BEST!!!!!!! I cannot overemphasize how smart, talented, kind, and calming she is!!…read moreFrom day one Sierra went above and beyond with her wedding planning services. We chose the "Just a Scoop" package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn't know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we'll cherish forever! Hiring Sierra is the best choice anyone could make for their wedding experience. Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I'm currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner! As the first reviewer of Limo Zen (limousine service), I'm pleased to report that my experience was…read moreabsolutely great. My wife and I attended a wedding this past weekend (9/17/16) at The Cliffs at Glassy. We live in Tryon, NC and didn't want to drive there for the wedding and back after the reception. In addition, we had never been to The Cliffs and were not sure where it was and how to navigate the winding road leading up to the resort. Having Limo Zen in the area was a blessing. We easily set up the reservation online and received a prompt reply from Heather confirming everything. A few days before the event she sent me the driver's name (Joe P.) and his contact number. On the day of the event I called Heather to confirm everything (because I'm a little OCD about plans and schedules). She confirmed that Joe would pick us up at 3:15 PM. At 3:10 PM he pulled into our driveway. PERFECT timing! The vehicle assigned to us that evening was a new black Cadillac Escalade. Joe has the AC set low (it was a hot day) and bottles of water for us. He was a delight to have a driver. Joe, we learned is a recent transplant to the area from Upstate NY so my wife and I (both native Tar Heels) had a lot of fun talking with him. Although only in the area a short while, Joe knew exactly where we going and the shortest route to take. We arrived right on time. After a beautiful wedding and wonderful reception, Joe picked us up at 9:30 PM (again perfect timing). We have used UBER, limo services and executive cars a lot when traveling in large cities and we can say Limo Zen (including Heather and Joe) are as good as any big city transportation service. I hope Limo Zen has a long and prosperous future in the WNC & Upstate SC area because we really need top level transportation services. Thanks Limo Zen. I'm sure we'll be using you again.
