They also offered their photobooth service at a discounted combination rate. I LOVED their props. These are not typical props at all! Amish beard, cat mask, lightsabers. They were so much fun to work with. In other weddings we've attended, sometimes machines break down or they run out of paper (I know, what?!) But we didn't have any of these issues. Additionally, they sent us a super cute photo box with a USB of our photos and a lot of the print outs! One piece of advice I have for any couple is to have a mirror around, or ask your photographers to see yourself before the photos begin. Simply because my bangs didn't look as good as I wish they did. Oh well, the photos still turned out great and I loved the little details that made their photos even more romantic It was such a pleasure working with them and I would def recommend them to anyone. I hope our paths cross again one day! Love, Janny & Alex 10.19.19 Advice to brides: Think thoughtfully about how you want your wedding memorialized and explain it clearly to your vendors, preferably with pictures, examples.

5 stars is really not enough! We found Inner Song Photography on yelp and after talking with Justin…read moreover the phone, booked him right away. We're pretty laid back and didn't have a lot of specifications about what we wanted and Justin was just so comfortable taking the lead. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured so many beautiful candid moments of us and our guests. We had two 80 person ceremonies, a traditional Indian one and an American one. Both nights, Justin hustled to get every shot we didn't even know we wanted. His energy is so much fun to be around and all out guests made comments about how hard he worked and how friendly he is. Saying the pictures turned out beautiful is an understatement. They are more than we could have asked for. Going with Inner Song was absolutely the best decision we made!

Shelley and Josh maximize on capturing the event as it is naturally occurring. They were also able to maximize time spent because their ability to tag team, and weaved through the event seamlessly without disturbing any guests or ceremonies. Also, they are very comfortable people to be around, which sounds silly but makes a world of difference on the most stressful day. The commitment and creativity I observed while they shoot the wedding was unbelievable. They have several camera's and lenses, which they often switched for certain photo's, they were always aware of the lighting and best places to photograph (and take excellent outdoor photo's). The value and quality we received is unbeatable, especially being able to access all the photos! After receiving the photo's and seeing my wedding through the eye's of Josh and Shelley, I can honestly say it was magical. And my wedding photo "like's" on Facebook are blowing up! Couldn't Thank them enough for the work they did!

I pretty much instantly felt comfortable working with her, even though I never got to meet her in person until the actual elopement day. My husband doesn't comment on services very much, but he was so impressed with Shelley's creativity and fearlessness in getting the best shots. She would sometimes be laying on the ground and get completely soaked by the waterfalls, and she would have us stand so close to the edge of a cliff and so close to the waterfalls. My husband got to see a sneak peek of a few shots on her camera, and his mouth literally dropped at how beautiful the photos were. We completely trusted her opinion on the stops we made in Iceland not only because she has been to Iceland before, but also because she just has that creative vision to know what looks good (her website/blog says it all). Another bonus is that she scouts the wedding ceremony area for you beforehand and chose our ceremony site, which we are so grateful for. It was intimate (away from the crowds), peaceful, and beautiful. If you and your partner are looking for someone who loves candid photos, dynamic photos with a lot of movement, and epic landscape photos, Shelley is the best photographer for that. We can't recommend her enough!

She brings an attentiveness to craft, a documentarian's eye, and an unparalleled aesthetic to her work. Meg's skill as a photographer is matched by her warm personality and huge heart! I can't recommend her highly enough.

I started making portraits of my many nieces and nephews that lived in town. In fact, one of my nieces initiated my first paying family portrait session! Thanks Dr.Kate! I knew making heirloom portraits of kids and families was my calling very early. I am so fortunate. Initially, I made heirloom portraits on a medium format, (4 x bigger film than 35mm) film camera. Back then, I printed my work in the darkroom (or dark womb as we called it!). It is a magical process. I moved on to shooting digitally ( about 10 years ago. I started shooting video last year and am just in love with making heirloom videos of kids and families as much as still portraits. It feels like such a natural progression of my creative process. I adore photographing weddings. My philosophy is to document the amazingness of the day and let the couple see what it's like to be there and all the juiciness that they missed. No ordinary human can take in everything that is happening. Having me be a part of your special day is like having your long lost southern cousin (or Auntie) who cares about you and wants you to reexperience your special day through the lens of an experienced artist and storyteller. I hope to infuse some laughs, ease and grace into the day. I  approach the "assignment" as a documentary one with little conceptual mixed in there. I love you, I love your story and I love your face!
