They also have the means to test for glaucoma in more than one way for the surest results, cataracts, macular degeneration and more! I had the glaucoma, macular degeneration and peripheral vision test since it runs in my family and was emailed the results with very cool photos of my eye. After experiencing the franchise optometrists first, I won't go to anyone else except here now. We commute from the eastern suburbs just to see George. He should be everyone's optometrist. Recently, I was referred to the specialist doctors at Armadale Eye Clinic, ostensibly for advice and or treatment for a troublesome eye complaint, an ongoing problem that dates back several years, it was my left eye that had failed to heal after a lens removal. When I visited the Clinic on that first occasion, I was in considerable pain and a little apprehensive toward finding relief. I am sure the pain I was experiencing was most likely to have occurred because of an infection after the original surgery and not related to any earlier medical misadventure. The bottom line was, there seemed no end to my dilemma, I was experiencing dry eyes, constantly requiring lubricant to ease the pain! Another side effect I had developed was a 'Droopy Eyelid Syndrome' and I want to suggest, that should this be something you are experiencing, I can recommend you place your trust in a surgeon I had the good fortune to find at Armadale Eye Clinic. Dr Brent Gaskin was able to remove the unwanted folds to both eye lids without the slightest concern. I cannot believe how much more comfortable it is after having had this surgery done! The reason I wanted to post this review is twofold, I want to provide a reassurance to others facing eye problems, to have every confidence in the Armadale Eye Clinic for treatment and secondly, to indicate to any first-time patients to expect and trust in the care they will receive at this Clinic. I know and can say from my own experience, the doctors and support staff are really most caring and diligent. You will find they are compassionate, experienced and above all honest. The thing that really makes this store is the staff. After a recent eye test by one of the friendly optometrists I was handed over to Trent. His job (as far as I can tell) is to help people find the most flattering pair of glasses through a process of patient comparison. He was awesome and spent a good 30 minutes following me around the store, suggesting frames, and carrying them all in a little box so I could then look at them all together. He was a great help and made my experience actually fun, instead of the usual "I want to poke my eyes out" ordeal that comes with buying new frames. So, apart from Trent, OPSM Hub has a number of playback video screens scattered around the store. How do they work? Strut about in front of the screen in your potential new frames one after the other, and then play them all back in a row so you can compare. Genius.
