I was very lucky to find Jovi on social media and saw her incredible work. She has a station at Mirror Mirror Hair Studio & SPA. I originally came in for a hair cut and to low key interview her -I needed to make sure she was comfortable working with dark hair. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She maybe young but she is very knowledgeable and right away came with a plan to lighten my hair so I could continue my hair-adventures. Her prices are great, her work is amazing and personally I wouldn't trust my hair with just anyone other than Jovi. My hair despite the bleaching and coloring stays healthy and full which form me is important. The salon itself is located in a strip mall adjacent to the Rivergate Mall. Plenty of parking in the area. They have a great COVID safety plan, yes you do wear a mask but so do the stylist. They are consistently sanitizing and keeping the stations clean. The salon has a variety of stylist and they are keeping up to a modern decor, but do keep in mind it seems the clientele is primary much older (retired). Aside from just interacting with Jovi the majority of the stylist are very kind and talented. I can not recommend Jovi enough if you want to start a hair-adventure. She will help you achieve your hair-goals and work with your budget. I've come out with gorgeous mermaid teal hair, seasonal autumn ombre color to a fabulous ombre blond.

And they tried selling me shamp & cond after messing up my hair. They ended up refunding my my money bc tears were rolling down my face and I asked for a discount. I still tipped Day on the $350. Then they told me I can come back in and they'll fix what they did to my hair for half price $150-$200. My hair is breaking off like crazy because of where they overlapped. I shouldn't have to pay them $200 to fix what they did. Not sure how they can fix that.

Decided to get my haircut and just had a good feeling about Bluebird Salon on Main St. in Goodlettsville. Lindsey was lovely to chat with and cool and smart and just delivered above and beyond what I expected, in terms of getting a great haircut! Here are some specifics about Bluebird Salon: 1) Lindsey actually listened to me. She did not try to get me to have a haircut or style that I did not ask for; that has happened at other places. 2) I talk to just about everyone. I mean, I am one of those girls that cannot shut-up! lol and everyone I spoke with/interacted with that works at Bluebird Salon had great hair.
