It didn't matter how many times I would clean the new piercings or what I did it would always get infected. I was determined to have my second piercing so a friend recommended this place and I gave them a try. As soon as you enter you will see clowns and video game machines and lots of jewelry to choose from. They accept walk ins so we didn't make an appointment. The shop was empty on the Sunday afternoon when we went, so we were attended to quickly. The staff is not the friendliest which is why I'm not giving them 5 stars. We were told we would have options to choose from for the jewelry and we were not given any options. The tattoo artist was not very talkative nor communicative. It's been a month and I've had 0 issues with my piercings. The piercing on the left and right ear have not been infected, Ive had no discomfort, and no pain. This is the longest a piercing has lasted me. The tattoo artist is clearly a good piercer and good at what he does. My friend got her helix pierced and she also hasn't had any issues and has had a smooth healing. If you're like me who has had issues in the past with piercings, I suggest to giving this artist a try.

I've been doing all of the care instructions that he gave me and it's been going very smoothly with no scarring. I keep saying smooth, but it genuinely was a very smooth process. He was asking me questions to distract my mind and he happened very quickly. I highly recommend Art. Will be going back for my nose piercing soon.

Legit lifesavers! Lol…read more The screw on my snug piercing came off as I was drying it with a q-tip after a shower. The flat had unscrewed itself unbeknownst to me. This was also not the first time it unscrewed itself but it was the first time the full earring came out of my ear. So I put in a taper and rushed over here for them to put different jewelry in it. Not sure why the piercer who pierced it put such a short male piece. The lady in the front was so nice as I told her to forgive me for my annoyance. She was so understanding. The guy who put in new jewelry was just as nice and quick. Great pricing as well. Will definitely be back for jewelry!

I had a very disappointing experience with Major Ink Studios. The customer service was extremely…read morepoor, and I did not feel valued or respected as a customer. From my experience, it seemed like the main concern was collecting money rather than making sure the customer was satisfied with the service. What bothered me most was the way the owner communicated with me. I found the owner to be very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional when I tried to address my concerns. When someone is spending their hard-earned money, they deserve to be treated with respect and have their concerns taken seriously. Customer service is just as important as the work being performed, especially with something permanent like a tattoo. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Major Ink Studios. I hope they improve the way they communicate with and treat their customers. Run Away From This Place.

I love Opal Moon - they're officially my new base for piercing work!…read more I've always had a difficult time healing piercings from previous shops - all of my last 4 have been a nightmare of irritation bumps and ridiculously slow healing. I gave Opal Moon a try for my latest piercing, and thanks to the troubleshooting from Yurgen and Tiffany, I think I've finally identified the issue and found the solution. My piercing from Yurgen has been healing beautifully with zero pain or irritation. They have a great jewelry selection compared to other piercing places I've visited in South Florida, with nice options for all price ranges. I've visited to shop for jewelry gifts before and they were a big help then, too. You do have to plan ahead to make sure that you're 100% on time for your appointment because they keep the shop locked for foot traffic, but I actually appreciate that. It keeps things from feeling too crowded and provides a much calmer atmosphere. They have art from local artists hanging on the wall for sale and seem really integrated with the community, which is a huge plus in my book.
