Over the years I have had plenty of warranty companies on my cars and none were ever a problem. Until! I signed up with ASE protection. My first claim for a water pump. The bill was $2000 and they denied the claim because my car had 107,000 miles on it and I was supposed to get my tuneup at 100,000 miles. Everything else they required was done except for the tuneup. To try and get someone is almost impossible! You'll call and you'll leave a voicemail which I have done over two dozen times and not one single call text or email back. All they wanted to do is find a way to not cover the claim. I turned a second claim in for a new motor because a bearing had disintegrated. They denied it. They said when I replaced the water pump the car overheated. Nobody ever told him the car overheated. They just assume that happened and denied the claim. I am now taking both of those claims to arbitration. But that is scary. Because they hire the arbitration company and pay them. And their record shows at about 90% denial rate to the consumer. Now, they run as ASEPROTECTION.COM, whose domain is parked at GoDaddy, indicative of a defunct or abandoned site. Their official address at 200 Continental Drive, Delaware, is a virtual office from Davinci Virtual Office, used as a front--this is a scam. The business is run out of Marcus Owens and his secretary/girlfriend Maria's apartment in Arizona, actively operating this scam under the guise of a legitimate company. When I tried to make a claim, they outright denied it, engaging in deception by rebranding and denying any link to ASE Auto. This is a blatant scheme to escape their reputation and continue defrauding consumers. I have proof, including emails, showing their previous identity as ASE Auto. They never notified me of the name change and lied about their affiliation. When I investigated, ASEAuto is now just parked at GoDaddy, and the domain ASEProtection.com is active w GoDaddy, clearly used as a front. You can do a quick google search yourself and see the address is a front and just a paid monthly virtual address they get for $126.00 a month. PONZI SCAM! Their ongoing fraud is widespread--search reveals hundreds of victims, an "F" rating with the BBB, and over a hundred unresolved complaints. They deny claims, refuse refunds, and ghost their customers. Everyone who has been scammed should file complaints with the CFPB, FTC, Delaware Attorney General's Office, and other relevant agencies. The worst experience ever with this company. After selling my vehicle wanted to cancel my warranty, they asked me to send a notarized letter that I want to cancel it. I sent the mail after 4 months they are telling me that they never received the letter and I sent them the tracking number that my letter was delivered. Now they are saying our building is big it might have been lost. That is not my issue if it was lost you received it and now it is your responsibility. If your building is big then get a freaking PO Box. After 4 months I will just have to go different route and get my money. read more

I have called 7 times and have yet to even speak to a claims adjuster to submit a claim. I do not understand how this business continues to exist. They duck and dodge any phone call or email..... The contract states they will reimburse to the owner of the contract not the business, however, the person who may answer a call (after 30-60 minutes on hold) made it clear they would send a very partial payment to Ford for my repair. I do have a voicemail stating the partial payment will be sent directly to Ford AFTER 30 days of receiving an invoice. This never happened. No response to email. I purchased a warranty and the next day I decided I wanted to cancel without actually signing the documents. It's been 3 months and ASE refuses to return my $1,800. It's a scam, I bought their best tier warranty for my 2017 BMW 530i , & on my 1st repair , they said it's a plan exclusion we don't cover it while it was a simple electrical component, & on my 2nd repair my BMW dealer refused to take it saying they owe a lot to us & they don't pay for dealerships so it's either I pay out of my pocket or provide them with another warranty & when I tried to cancel the warranty, now I have been suspended for more than a year & half & can't get my money back. read more

By far the worst outfit in my 44 years of dealing with contract companies. Filed claim in Nov 2024, got an authorization/claim number. Have yet to receive the money from ASE Protection. Called once every two weeks since and get transferred voicemail, leave message and no response. When select prompt for new contract, call answered immediately. When approach sales dept about not getting paid on claims dilemma, they hang up. If you have a contract, recommend you cancel immediately. I would give this company -5 stars if I could. At the point of sale they talk about "bumper to bumper" coverage but when you need something done, they string you along for weeks and spend all there time digging up every semi-plausible reason to deny every service issue you present to them. My Audi Q7 needs a new starter. This should very obviously be covered under the contract. Apparently, because the PCV sensor had a fault code 2 years ago that was cleared and never came back, they won't do it. They're denying by saying it is due to my 'negligent treatment' of the vehicle, which is 100% nonsense. The vehicle has been regularly maintained as long as I've owned. I have filed a complaint with the office of the attorney general in my state's consumer protection arm, and I have also filed a fraudulent charge claim with Amex, which I used to pay for it. They never respond to email, it is impossible to get them on the phone. They are a fly-by-night whose business model is to wear the consumer out until they give up. I would love to give, but I will not stop until my money is returned. But I strongly, strongly advise you to go nowhere this company, which has no interest in providing the services they claim and is happy to drive you insane to keep you from getting them. read more

A few months went buy subsequent to filing the claim and I received several excuses as to why I had not received eight hundred and some odd dollars on a $4500 claim. What I have received is excuses. They took my money with my disclosure of a rebuilt title. When I had a break down they claimed I didn't disclose that and they don't cover rebuilt titles. I am in process of filing complaint with the Delaware DA office and and suing in small claims to collect my refund that was promised to me in January. I have a valid claim from an authorized dealer and I was told they would get back to me within 24 hours after submitting. It has been a week. They do not respond to emails and when I call you are put on wait and then it hangs up. Very strange. I talked to them on once and they said that they would get back to me that day and I never heard from them. I made a mistake when first researching this company and only saw the fake reviews. They are probably the worst "company" I've ever dealt with. They were very nice when setting up the plan, now I can't reach anyone who can actually do anything with the claim. I'm thinking they are some type of "broker" that probably uses a different company for claims which is why they don't know anything and can't actually help. The phone number rings forever, voicemails disconnect instantly, and nobody responds to e-mails. The online website for filing claims has zero information for the customer and there's no way to know what is happening without calling someone, which is also almost impossible. The only information I've received so far after 3 weeks is that they'll pay 38 dollars for a 700 dollar part, and short the shop on labor as well. Worst warranty company ever. We repaired a vehicle for a customer and delivered the vehicle after authorization for payment was given on Sept 12. Was told payments are only sent on the last Friday of the month. First week of August no check. Called and was told because the repair amount was so high (1700 LOL) it needed special approval and check would be sent October 12. Today still no check. Called spoke to Diane, pretty sure not her real name, said again it was a special amount so checks would be sent next Friday. Looks like we are getting scammed as well. For all repair facilities out there do not accept this warranty. If you do take payment from customer and let them fight it out as so many others seem to be doing. read more

I bought commercial insurance from agent, Michael White with ASE. $2000 upfront for the policy after he took my money he came back to me to tell me that they do not cover commercial insurance and that they would promptly refund my money. This was in January 2024 I have yet to receive my refund. I have been lied to told multiple times the check has been mailed. I call and tell them I have not received the check. When I asked to cancel the policy , Paula told me I would get a full refund but I had to sign a cancellation form and send time stamped photos and a notarized letter to them.
