For me though generally it is a nightmare to drive in and out of, it is so close to the main Coventry Rd and I only tend to go here during a weekday as evenings and weekends it is too stressful to drive too. Another time I always go is in the middle of the night coming up to Christmas, its quieter but shockingly still fairly busy at 3am!!

Really makes me consider going elsewhere on a permanent basis, I'm already using other supermarkets on some occasions.

So even when doing a regular shop you can pick up those extras too. Like all Tesco I find their pricing average and it is very easy to spend more than you planned on doing! But the choice is good, well laid out and the store is clean. I always find the staff a bit aloof. It is hard to explain but this is quite a dull supermarket. There is a cafe but the times I have grabbed something to eat there it has been very disappointing and really only good for a cuppa if you are parched. The customer toilets are well maintained. There is a petrol station onsite and recycling facilties in the car park.

My personal…read moreranking of English supermarkets (based on quality) puts Waitrose in the top tier, Sainsbury's not far behind and Morrisons and finally Tesco behind them. For me the drive to the nearest Waitrose (this one) is 20 miles but worth it. Think we decided yesterday to do our routine shop at Sainsbury's as usual but make a trip to Waitrose for a special shop once every 2 or 3 weeks. Their flowers (a must for Mrs G) are great quality and well tended. Nice touch - as you check out they ask if you want special wrapping (which I gather was free of charge) also back at my care a young man comes over to take care of my cart. The fruit, veg, cheese, fish, meat all fresh, excellent and well presented. To be honest the bakery could do with improvement. That said - you can't go wrong at this lovely Waitrose!

However, a reasonable product range for a small store, and they are always quite well stocked. Interesting point: it falls within the historical city boundaries and there is a lovely marble feature in the lobby showing the expansion of the city since the mediaeval times. Nice touch.

There were 3 door on the street but none of them seemed to be open or working. So I had to go around the corner to find a main door. This is a rather compact version of the usually large Superstore, but has everything your average student will need: beer, crisps, pizza. Very close by to the University and centrally located in the city for easy access for all the residents. All the tills were open and busy when I went, which is good to see as that means rapid and easy service. Rivals, I would say, are the Tesco which is also nearby.

A nice largish Sainsbury's with quality helpful staff…read more I like sainsburys as you can usually get slightly nicer things than the other supermarkets (Waitrose asdie). The staff here are areally a cut above and this makes a difference. I prefer this shop to others that are closer and cheaper.

This tesco is huge in comparison to others, its a very good size offering a wide range of products…read more i think it is great for food shopping but also for clothes and electircal goods as well. The staff are always friendly and are helpfull if you can not find something that you are looking for. The store, cafe and toilets are always clean and i always see cleaners around when i am in there. i have also started using the tesco shopping online. Im please with the quality food that has been picked by staff in store and also get to my door with out bruising fruits or the old flattened loaf of bread problems we usually get when were in a rush. The shopping arrive on an allocated time. the drivers are friendly and approachable and they also drop it off in your kitchen, which is a bonus. I think its clever how tesco offer a cheap range of products (tesco value) a medium range (tesco brand) and a more expensive but higher quality range (tesco finest) as it giver a wider spectrum of variety. Overall i think that this store is clean and also offers a free car park up to 2 hrs. There is also a tesco petrol pump outside so you can fill up on fuel and also use club card point saving there from the shopping you have just done.

I managed to get a parking space when driving past this week and thought I would go and see what the shop was like. I am a bit mixed when it comes to Aldi as I do not think they are cheaper on many products yet I think the fruit and veg as well as the cooked sandwich meats they do are wonderful and I do go into the stores just for those items. I was impressed with this store it looked organised and well laid out. The staff were also friendly and I left impressed with this new Aldi store

The food in Sainsburys is much better than our over local shop Morrison's…read more Im actually 99% certain you will find the food you buy here top notch. And if you dont like the food you buy, because you are disapointed just tell sainsburys. They gave me a voucher last time i did and they were really nice about it. Saisburys pricing isnt as cheap as other places so if you dont like paying extra than this is not for you. Store is fairly old but staff are great most of the time and its always easy to find what you are looking for. Always has great offers on as well, and the pre-cooked meat from the counter seems to be quality on top of the quality that you already get. Tesco's and Morrisons are not as great for quality but if you dont mind paying a little extra its worth it. Also bakery has a large range of cakes which is always nice, but make sure you dont leave it to late in the day or there wont be any left. Can become really busy which is a pain but overall good store to shop in, food great but is more expensive than other supermarkets.

They also sell the usual stuff like every other supermarket. Uusally this store gets quite full, but you never seem to queue for too long which is good. Customer services are helpful in every aspect, which cant be said for some stores! They also have a cafe too, which is really nice and reasonably priced too. I have been here a number of times on my lunch. Its really nice.
