Asda is cheap and good quality. You have a range of frozen and fresh food. You can also get your beauty products and DVD's etc. They have a selection of home items ie towels etc. They are at present adding another level to the store which will then have all the Asda's clothes shoe's underwear jewellery and games etc. You get good value for money in this store read more

I've always loved the range of food that Asda sells and the quality of its produce so I'm usually drawn back to it. However, I have to say that their Chatham Store is a nightmare from arrival in the car park to getting back out to your car again. The worst part is trying to pay for your goods and get out of the store - always huge queues at the checkouts. I would rather travel the extra distance to another store to avoid this. read more

Asda is a cheap, good value superstore now with a whole new reason to visit. The recently opened George department means the store has been given new life, with a huge new selection of clothes for men, women and children. The new section also means the store is so much better organised and just looks so much better. I have to say though the escalator's the stairs are ending comes to be very annoying after a while. The store now offers a much larger homeware section, clothes, food, jewellery, shoes, electricals, video games, books and magazines. To be strictly speaking you could just go to Asda for all your needs, you certainly wouldn't be disappointed! With cheap prices and good food the store has a lot to offer, especially with their sweet section which has the most choice i've seen in any superstore. On the downside Asda can get VERY crowded at peak times, so if you do not like waiting avoid it like the plague on Sundays and holidays especially Christmas time. read more

The huge 24 hour Asda has a late opening pharmacy attached to it which is really convinient as there are not many late opened medicine shops around. The pharmacy is well stocked and the staff at the counter are quite friendly and efficient. The pharmacy is located on the first floor and right near the entrance hence people don't have to keep serching for it which ia an added plus. read more

Won't be using online shopping again, delivery was confirmed that it would be arriving between 7-8 pm, 8:15 arrived no delivery rang customer service and was rudely told that it will arrive when it gets there. 8:30 had to cancel evening out as missed time for cinema slot, rang customer services at Chatham store, phone was answered by a young lad who had no phone manners at all, answered phone with "allo chatum asda what can I do for ya," I explained the situation and he said " wait a minute and i'll puya froo" phone rang twice then I was cut off!!!!! 8:40 still no shopping, decided to goto store and sort it out, as I get there I get a phone call from my wife to say shopping has been delivered and that the driver said to her that this always happens its a diabolical service and the only reason he uses the service is because of his staff discount. The lady at customer services was very sorry about what happened and got on the phone to who ever sorts out deliveries to find out what was going on, I was asked to wait a minute while it was being looked into and the person dealing with it will be out to see me soon , 10 mins later I was told it had just been delivered is that ok ? "I know that",I said "It's only an hour late though, and I have cancelled my night out and I am not very happy with this service " The lady behind counter gets back on phone to who ever it was, that was not concerned enough to deal with this by coming to see me the paying customer, like I was told and getting someone else to deal with it by relaying a message telling me that the next mornings duty manager will look into what happened I then made sure that my details where taken down and was told that I will receive a call some time tomorrow, watch this space. read more

Asda Stores - The nightmare of Asda on line shopping - Grocery Near Me - Chatham, MDW

Quite a large store, easy to find parking, open 24 hours with wait for it a 24 hour alcohol license! Clothing, homewares and entertainment on the first floor and loads of food on the ground. They make you a fresh pizza at the deli counter. Wouldn't advise doing your weekly shopping on a Sunday afternoon though. read more

I do like Asda as it has pretty much everything under one roof, as you can imagne coming for USA. But this store is having a bit of a refubishment at the moment, so is a little messy. read more

I find the staff in this store very rude and unhelpful and security is lax and the offers run out and they dont update the customers very bad service cheap but not cheerful read more

This store has next to nothing on its shelves in the afternoons. All available staff is too interested and only available helping its home shopping customers while running down customers with their trollys. I'm shopping at Tesco in Gillingham till their managers sort out their lack of staffing problems and finally fill the shelves. read more

i visited the store today and the floor was covered in filth an absolute disgrace trash everywhere.
