I bought a cuban link chain from them about a month ago. I loved it at first. I have probably worn the chain about 10 times or less since I bought it. When I'm not wearing it, it stays in a nice jewelry box. Today, when I went to put it on the lobster clasp was broken. As a result I called New York Jewerly and explained my situation. They did nothing to help and instead told me that I would have to pay them $35 to get it fix. The man on the phone also told me that you cannot pull the claps to hard or they break......WHAT? That was enough to deter me from ever buying anything from them again, and it should deter you as well. I know have to figure out if this cheap piece of crap is worth getting fixed or if I should just cut my $400 lose. This is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM "NEW YORK JEWELRY" in Greensboro.

I come here to get my ring inspected to keep the warranty up, and the lady did a good job cleaning it too. My only complaint is location. All the locations in Raleigh closed down, so now I have to drive to Greensboro. Because of the inconvenience they let me get my ring inspected once a year now instead of every 6 months. I hope Helzberg stays around and they don't all close down, my husband chose my engagement ring there, and we also got our wedding bands there-they're very sentimental to us and so is the store.
