"A book is a gift you can open again and again", American writer Garrison Keillor onced said. How true this is.
I am an avid book reader and have been known to read 4-5 books per month. I get them from my local library, op shops, garage sales, friends and then, there's the second hand bookstores that I adore immensely.
This is a good bookshop as it sells some pretty good quality books. Yes, they're second hand and they deserved to be, as I believe a book never ends its journey. Instead, it looks to a new voyage via a new owner.
Boasting a handsomely laid out bookshelves, one can get lost in time in this bookshop. Politics, ancient history, arts, gardening, sports, romance, crime, children, mystery, fiction, non fiction, autobiography, journals...they have it all.
I probably found some books a couple of dollars more, if not double than what I would find in an op shop or flea market. If the pricing doesn't bother you, I highly recommend a visit as the books are in pristine condition and you have the option of selling your books here, for some extra cash and for someone to love them..again and again. read more
