Since my lady works in the property management field, we were given a full-on tour of "Vision on Wilshire" thanks to the folks at UDR Apartments who made this all possible. Located directly on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and S. Crescent Heights Blvd. in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, "Vision on Wilshire" opened its doors during the spring of 2018. We ended up meeting with Olga, the Assistant Community Director of this property. The lobby itself looked more like a luxury hotel than an actual apartment. This is the floor that includes a 24-hour concierge, espresso bar (with a high-end Nespresso machine), and the offices where the managers conduct business. I will have to say that this place sells itself. It is absolutely phenomenal and the amenities are bar none some of the best I've ever seen in my life. This includes a full-on clubhouse, conference rooms, fitness center (with state-of-the-art gym equipment), a massage table, electric car charging stations, and lower garage parking. Additionally, this is a pet friendly community that allows cats and most dog breeds. You also have the option of renting a furnished or unfurnished apartment home. What really sets Vision on Wilshire away from its competition is their dynamic rooftop pool. Olga mentioned to us that this is one of only a couple high rise apartments in all of Los Angeles that offers a rooftop pool. And even better is that this is offered 24 hours a day! Residents also gain full access to a jacuzzi, private cabanas, and even gas grills for cooking your meals on the roof. As far as the apartments itself, every apartment home is prewired with high speed internet. You also receive a top-of-the-line gas range, quartz countertops, full-size stackable washer/dryer, glass backsplash, hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, USB outlets (for your phone, tablet, laptop), keyless entry, Bluetooth enabled thermostat, and even a wine cooler! Oh, and did I mention that you get a patio/balcony with some of the most amazing views of the Hollywood Hills? The lease terms are very flexible as you can lease from a little as one month or as much as one year. As far as the prices, studios start at $3200, 1-bedrooms from $4,300/mo, 2-bedrooms from $6,700/mo, and 3-bedrooms/penthouses that range from $8,000-$12,000/mo. These prices change dramatically depending on the housing market. Do keep in mind that the deposits range from $500-$2500, pet rent is $75/mo, and parking in the underground structure ranges from $250-$400/mo. If much of what I mentioned fits your needs and budget, I would definitely recommend checking "Vision on Wilshire" out. It screams luxury all over it and is in my humble opinion, one of (if not) the finest high-rise apartments I have ever stepped into. LA has thousands of options when it comes to housing; this to me ranks as one of the best. My rating based on the service and entire experience from visiting here, a perfect five stars.

This is a formal request for the return of my $400 application deposit. My application was denied on January 7, 2026, and I have still not received the refund despite multiple confirmations that the check would be reissued. If I do not receive proof of payment or tracking by Monday, I will file a complaint with the Los Angeles Housing Department and pursue recovery through Small Claims Court. Hopefully major changes can be addressed as this building has lots of issues and improvements are needed. Security in the complex is non existent. Transients are constantly breaking in and accessing this property. They are casing the building and hanging out in the garage/pool area. Security cameras are not helpful especially when constant mail is being stolen. Parking garage gates have issues and are open throughout the day/night. Making transients have easy access to the building. Trash/recycling bins are always full and brings lots of insects and rodents. Pool is not heated and not cleaned as often as it should be plus inside the pool walls are dirty and metal bars are rusty. Tenant bringing homeless and drug addicts into the building. They provide the code to have access to come into the building. We have found drug paraphernalia inside and in the garage. Transients hanging out in laundry room and sleeping in the lobby. Mail theft as residents constantly have things missing and stolen from other tenants or food delivery couriers. Back door/side door gate is always tampered. Constantly see transients walking around back of building and scoping out units to potentially break inside. Police are called often here at the Amalfi. Still waiting for my reimbursement for renters insurance charges. Never heard back or followed up. Elevator is out of order and has mechanical problems multiple times this year. Rent is ridiculously priced for this building especially in this homeless infested city of Weho. Hopefully changes can occur, but from the past years of being a resident here at the Amalfi Weho since 2020 it seems like nothing has changed. Management at Burton Way Luxury Apartments gave a key to my unit to my stalker -- yes, you read that right. My stalker created a fake email pretending to be me, told the office that a "friend" would be picking up a key, and they actually handed it over to him. This was after I had already given the management team written and verbal instructions not to respond to anyone using that email or any other number but mine. As a result, my home was broken into, thousands of dollars worth of belongings were stolen, and I was left feeling completely unsafe in my own apartment. On top of that, the building is infested with roaches. They're all over the property and eventually made their way into my unit. I complained about this repeatedly. Every time, management said they had "treated it," but nothing ever changed. The problem clearly runs deep in this building, and they simply refuse to take it seriously. And if all that wasn't enough, after everything I'd already been through, a new employee started working for the management company and -- unbelievably -- called my stalker directly, thinking it was me. This is after months of me explaining the severity of my situation and begging management not to make that exact mistake. It's beyond careless -- it's dangerous. For the amount of money they charge to live here, tenants deserve safety, professionalism, and basic human respect. Instead, what you'll get is a roach-infested building run by people who clearly don't care about their residents or their safety. There are plenty of great places on Burton Way, even older buildings that are managed far better than this so-called "luxury" complex. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Unless you want to deal with stalkers, roaches, and management that puts you at risk -- this is not the place for you. This building is a complete disgrace, and the word luxury should be removed from its name entirely.

I spent the waiting time looking around LA for Spanish and French Normandy buildings as beautiful as Ari's and easily concluded there was nothing close to the level of charm, preservation, and reverence for time-honored architecture and appliances in LA. I loved every corner and minute of my three years there. The rare times I had a sink backup or maintenance request, it felt like Ari had someone at my door within minutes with the remedy. The way he maintained the building, even prepping for rare, stormy LA weather, left for nothing desired. I loved living here. Ari and his team keep these apartments immaculate and do such incredible work to honor the character of each building and unit. Any time I've had an issue, it was resolved within the day. Literally took 20 minutes from calling Ari about my garbage disposal to getting a new one installed. No joke. The shared patio is so lush with greenery and I've loved spending time out there with a book or just to lay out in the sun. Ari is so lovely to work with as a landlord. He went out of his way for me several times beyond the call of duty of a landlord. Offered to hang things in the apartment when I moved in, didn't mind me using the outlet in the garage for my Peloton even though he pays the utility bill for it, supported me adopting my cats, and more. I can feel how much care and pride he puts into his places. What's more, I have loved my neighbors. Not just in the building but on the block. There's a total community here on Sycamore. Also, I've met so many people in the area who are repeat renters of Ari's - that says something. I'm truly sad to leave. If I ever have the chance to live in one of Ari's buildings again, I'd jump on it so fast.
