I've had multiple maintenance issues, one that has lasted on and off for nearly a YEAR AND ONGOING…read more Issue #1 I had a SEVERE FLEA INFESTATION on and off for over two months immediately upon moving in and it took them four separate treatments to finally figure out it was coming from a dog from my upstairs neighbor. I cried in their office out of frustration begging them to figure it out. They did not offer for me to stay at a hotel and I ended up with dozens of excruciatingly itchy and painful bites all over my body for months and ended up with PERMANENT SCARS ALL OVER MY LEGS. They gave me $500 for the this ordeal. It was extremely stressful and still bothers me til this day to see all of the scars :( Issue #2 I've also had LEAKING, MILDEW and ANT INFESTATION on and off for ALMOST A YEAR (since Dec. 2023) and currently still dealing with the issue. When I say "leaking", I mean it was a solid stream of water in my living room while we had the recent hurricane! The mildew was so bad it started growing through the ceiling. They have had to cut holes into my ceiling three different times because they did not fix the root issue, left these holes completely open for weeks at a time, over 15 maintenance visits during my work day, various workers and contractors coming into my unit, going into my carpeted bedroom with dirty shoes, staff coming into my unit without notice and LEAVING MY SPARE KEY IN THE DOOR afterwards leaving my unit completely unsecured! I've dealt with fresh paint and horrible fumes for days at a time giving me headaches. The ants that came in through the ceiling hole infested my entire pantry and I had to throw everything away. They are still trying to figure out a permanent solution and covered the hole up with cardboard & a trash bag. We deserve better than this, especially for $1800/mo. I'm willing to increase my star rating given an appropriate solution and if I feel I'm taken seriously.

Recently, management ordered us to remove the beautiful plants we've maintained for over five years--plants they previously complimented. Meanwhile, they continue to ignore major issues we've raised repeatedly: Smoking (both cigarettes and marijuana) constantly seeps into our apartment, despite numerous complaints. All we get are useless emails that do nothing to address the problem. Junk cars sit in parking spots for months, handicap and no parking zones are constantly violated, and even with photographic proof, management does nothing. The lawn is in terrible condition due to neglectful service, and the mulch areas are rundown. The amenities are only available during business hours, making them essentially unusable for working residents. The pool has been closed several times this summer because of a faulty pump, which management refuses to replace, despite health concerns. The apartments themselves are outdated and poorly maintained, with peeling cabinets, makeshift shower repairs, and appliances that barely work. On top of that, the **onsite management is rude and condescending**, showing no interest in resolving any of these issues. If you're considering Fountain Villas, don't be fooled by the "luxury" label--it's old, rundown, and terribly managed.
