If my last month was paid in full why get additional charges ? I never heard of such things . Now in regards to my experience there I have to be absolutely honest and tell you opinion about the complex ; the staff needs to be removed and place professional people persons , they are rude and unpleasant to deal with especially the front desk and Alexis the building Mgr , I felt her nasty demeanor every time I encountered her as well as the blonde lady at the front desk , I don't understand why corporations don't hire these kind of personnel to manage properties. And as far as the building issues there were plenty starting with the noise , smoking , loud parties after hours , dog poop , unruly neighbors , debris in many staircases and finally complex security ( none ) even though they tell you to call the after hours on duty officer which never worked all the time I was there . I hope corporate sees this review and respond instead of the usual nonsense response from the apartment manager who just wants to hide the issues by inserting a dumb answer to the the people's reviews to lessen the impact it would have on future tenants . Last thing I would say is don't think about moving here , look at the real reviews like mine and make a decision.

The amenities are incredible -- the pool is always sparkling and perfect for relaxing, the gym has everything we need and is never too busy, and the whole community is peaceful, clean, and welcoming. The maintenance team is always on point! Every time we've needed something, they've responded fast and taken care of it right away -- which really makes a difference. And let me just say, the management team is AMAZING! Tateyana, Nina, and the awesome manager Nathan are the absolute best. They are friendly, professional, and truly care about the residents. You can tell they take pride in this community, and it shows every single day. One personal experience that really stood out to me: right before a big storm was about to hit Florida, I asked if there was any way to get a garage for my car, and the team immediately found one for me just in time. That kind of attentiveness and care meant the world to us and showed how much they go above and beyond for their residents. Because of the incredible amenities, quick maintenance, and the wonderful management team, we didn't think twice about renewing our lease as a family. Apex Apopka isn't just an apartment -- it's HOME. Thank you all for making this such a fantastic place to live!

I recently had to temporarily park in an EV space because there were literally no regular spaces available and a severe storm was coming down. My vehicle was towed and I was charged $135. Unfortunately. And significant damage to my vehicle because of towing it. I understand that EV spaces are reserved for electric vehicles, but I believe management should consider the circumstances and have a better solution for residents when there is absolutely no parking available--especially during severe weather. What is most disappointing is that residents are expected to deal with the parking shortage while towing is enforced without addressing the underlying parking problem. I hope management takes this seriously and provides residents with adequate parking and a fairer approach to situations like this.

Firstly, Homes And Cars have been broken into And they had not done one thing about it, because "things like this doesnt happen" well it did and can happen again. No cameras, no security. You call maintenance it takes them all day to come. You call pest control they don't come. You call the office no one there. I have been a resident of Oasis at Wekiva since July 2016. I've thoroughly enjoyed my beautiful…read morerenovated apartment. It has nice wood look floors, black appliances, granite counters, walk-in closets, and 2 full bathrooms. I cannot say much about the amenities because I haven't used them but they look very welcoming and nice. Parking has been ample and convenient as well. Finding a place to park was a major issue at my last apartment community so it's been nice being able to come home and find parking close to my apartment...especially late at night. I noticed a prior review gave a 1-star rating because there was some "confusion" about the price? It's sad that someone would rate so low over a misunderstanding. If you weren't looking to move until October/November...Why are you looking for an apartment in January??? Nobody is going to give you a price that far in advance...or even know what is going to be available to lease. I want to add my experience here because this is a very nice apartment community. Everyone I have ever talked to in the office has been very professional and caring. People shouldn't trust a review from someone that has nothing but negative (1-star) reviews on every post they have ever made on Yelp. Check out the Oasis at Wekiva yourself and form your own opinion. I love my apartment and have had zero issues here.

Please note that this is only my experience and may not reflect that of other residents…read more QUICK SUMMARY The Oasis at Wekiva is a very outdated and non maintained complex. When I moved in, there were many items broken (see photos). There were items in the cupboard from the previous tenant. The screens do not fit the windows or they are broken. Literally, there was not one single screen that worked. I lived near the pond. Around the pound are six lights. Out of the six, only one worked the entire time I lived there. I was told a few times that they would be fixed immediately. A year later, still broken. The building are literally falling apart (see photos). The kitchen is extremely small with almost zero counter space as you need to supply your own microwave which takes up your limited counter space. My freezer had a broken seal. It was fixed twice but still broken. Some food did not freeze and as you can see in the photo, snow was building up. Light fixtures were cracked, counter had nicks in them, just so many little things. If you like to cook, this place is not for you. Someone tried to break into my apartment which broke the door lock. These locks are smart locks and after the attempted break in, it kept jamming. I reported but it was still broken when I moved out. If you are just starting off in life and need a small place to live, this will work for you. If you have a family, look somewhere else. There is no security gate or security. Nothing for kids to do (no playground). There is a gym, which is not bad. Has the basics which works. Pool is good, and does offer some relaxing times. With the exception of some break ins and minor crime issues, it is a pretty quiet place to live. At least the building I lived in. RENT AND FEES If you are looking at Oasis as your future home, be aware of the rent and fees you will pay. The rent you see online is not the actual rent. There are other fees that are not optional and will be added to the posted rent. First, technology. You will pay almost $100 more per month for internet, cable, smart locks, smart thermostat. This is not an option and you are required to pay it. They say it's included but, you are definitely paying for the service. Don't be fooled. You are responsible for water, sewer, power. This is normal for most communities. You also will be required to pay an extra fee for valet trash. Again, this is normal with most communities. There are other small fees. Just be aware before you sign. SAFETY Keep in mind there is no controlled access to the community. Also, there are no sprinklers or fire extinguishers in the unit. They do state on the lease that there are fire extinguishers but there are not. Ask for this to be removed from the lease before you sign. This of course, unless they give you one. As mentioned already, lots of lights are broken and have been that way the entire time I lived there. There seams to be no urgency fixing these things. WINDOWS As someone who loves living in apartment communities, I can honestly say the windows are by far the worst. Single pane, stripping coming off. You electric bill will go up as there is zero ability for these windows to maintain any type of cool or warmth. You cannot open the windows because all the screens are broken or do not fit (see photos). I had to put up a current to separate the living room and solarium. If not, your AC will run continuously and your electric bill will go through the roof. FINAL THOUGHTS It's clear there is little to no desire to improve the conditions at the Oasis. Things stay broken even when you report them. You rarely see the leadership out an about. If they spent more time in the field, maybe things would improve. Something tells me, it would not matter. Are these the worst apartments I have lived in, no. Are they the best or even good, sadly, I have to say no. They are simply outdated, small and clearly no desire for improvement. There are now so many options in Apopka for apartments. My advice, look around. You will find nicer more up to date communities. I stress again, if you are a young couple or single person, these apartments will work. Just do not expect luxury. Vue at The Ridge

Vue at The Ridge

Horizons West / West Orlando

First, this is my experience and may not reflect others. Please do not decide on renting at Vue…read morebased off my review. This is an honest review from my perspective only. It's been bit of a roller coaster ride with good elements and bad elements. First, my move in was pretty horrible. The apartment was not ready. Bugs all over the floor AC did not work and the second day of move in I had a flood inside the apartment. It was rough and clearly not ready for new tenants. It was clear no one quality checked the unit prior to move in. One of the amenities is a gate sticker that automatically opens the gate. Unfortunately, they did not have this when I moved in. I was told that once they arrive I would be emailed. Four months later still do not have one. Other residents say they hardly work anyway so I did not press this to avoid aggravation. I also asked about a garage. I was told that there were none available (near my apartment). I was again told that I would be notified when one opens up. To my surprise, a new tenant just moved in and received the very garage I asked for. I received no notification that it was available. One of the struggles of this community is follow up. It just does not happen. My key fob does not work on any amenities just my front door. Which leads me to the next HUGE miss. The technology here is horrible. No exaggeration when I say the worst in any community I lived in. The internet is so bad. I had to buy a WiFi extender just to get my front door bell to work. The internet company came out to check things out. The guy who came out said that their service was bad and received multiple complaints. Even the property manger acknowledged that she received many complaints about the internet. I will not mention the company name but it's a company I have never heard of. If you work from home and rely on internet, just be aware, loss of internet happens frequently. The front door requires a key fob. If you live alone, you only get one. This is problematic if you need someone to access your home. This is the first community that I have lived at that only gives you one key. Let's talk maintenance. I have a few issues inside my apartment. I will say, all my issues were handled quickly and efficiently. On the flip side, the maintenance on the outside of the apartments is lacking any quality. There are many lights (mostly landscaping) that do not work or physically broken with exposed wires. There was a screen that was broken on my neighbors window since I moved on. I put in a work order to get it fixed. It was listed as complete. As of today, the screen is still broken. People use their patios as storage. With crates shelves and boxes. Just makes the place look trashy. Not what you expect for a Luxury community. There are other minor things but nothing that would add on the frustration already mentioned. The last thing that is note worthy in the "needs improvement" category is the dog park. It's a nice dog park but, you can hardly use it. It's consistently filled with dog poop that other people do not pick up. It would be nice to see some accountability but, sadly there is none. Now, there are some good things about Vue. The apartments are a good size. Updated appliances, tons and tons of storage. My apartment is spacious and very modern. If you need extra storage, there is extra storage on property for a fee. They also have garages, I'll leave it at that based on my experience. My building is pretty quiet and neighbors are pretty good. There are great amenities if you can access them. Gym is great, pool is nice and so many spaces you can use for parties and such. As far as the apartment itself, I think they are great. As far as technology, horrible. Quality control needs to get better as there are so many low hanging fruit items that simply do not get addressed. In conclusion, if a community is touting to be luxury, Vue has some work to do. Follow up just does not happen. Do I regret moving here, not really. I do love my apartment. Has my experience been the best, not by a long shot. If you are looking for a nice apartment, I would recommend Vue. If you are looking for "Luxury", this might be a miss.
