My daughter has been attending Ascend for a year and has enjoyed the experience immensely. She consistently looks forward to her classes and has developed significantly as an individual over the past year. Beyond improving her physical strength and self-defense skills, she is taught discipline and respect. This has led to notable improvements in her behavior both at home and at school. The instructors, including Mrs. Cha-Ca, Ms. Cancino, and Mr. McGuffey, demonstrate great dedication to ensuring each student masters the necessary forms. They are always willing to provide additional assistance to my daughter after class when she wants to work on a specific skill. It is incredibly rewarding to see the pride she feels upon achieving rank advancements or being selected to demonstrate a skill in front of the class. I can't wait to see what she'll learn next and to see her become a black belt in the future. I would highly recommend Ascend to anyone interested in learning martial arts. read more

She was always there to answer any questions I've had since the beginning and I couldn't thank her more for everything she's done for me. Mrs. Chaca, and Mr. MuGuffy have also made a great impact on my life today. They've put a smile on my face, made me happy, made me laugh, and most of all made me feel included in everything. Our daughter has been part of the Ascend family for almost two years and they have made such an impact on her. The coaches have always been encouraging on and off the mat, love the life lessons they teach and helpful during class and tournaments for our daughter. Our daughter had been a victim of bullying and we originally were just going to put her in to help protect herself, never realizing the huge impact it would have. Our daughter now is regaining her self esteem, her grades are much better in school, and went from being a difficult kid at school to being helpful and a go to for things at her school. I cant ever thank the Ascend coaches enough for everything they have done and look forward to many more years with this school. read more

Ascend is a great school. All the instructors are warm, welcoming and kind. We started with my son being in the dragons class and they teach martial arts but also help build confidence. After my son moved on to foundational, I joined up as well. They keep you active in the class and help give guidance. Ascend even shares life lessons to help the students grow. They have multiple world title champions as well. If you are looking to work out or are serious and want to be competitive, Ascend is for you. My son and I enjoy training and would recommend everyone to at least come and try it. read more
