He never rushed me, never pushed a sale, and was always the soul of graciousness and patience. Last year, we were hitting Go Time and finally ready to buy a house. I called up Chuck, newly moved to Signature Properties from his previous place. We decided on a house and made an offer, and boy is the process for first-time buyers tough! Nothing changes that. But through it all, Chuck's level of patience and compassionate support seemed bottomless, in the face of second thoughts (twice) about the house and a dozen questions in a day about which he always called back within an hour. During the two years that Tom worked for me, I was mostly satisfied with his work. Our phone communication was always good; his email responsiveness, however, was not always the best. However, after my recent experience with him, which resulted in the termination of our working relationship, I must say I have come to question his judgement, integrity as well as accountability. Problems arose when I decided to raise the rent in one of my units this past summer and asked Tom to notify the tenants in spring. For months he assured me that everything was fine, the tenants had been notified and, when renewal time came, a new lease had been signed. However, after we failed to collect the new rent amount for several months in a row, I contacted my tenants, at which point it became clear that Tom had never pursued the lease renewal. Tom Rotella has let me down in a big way by failing to have my tenants sign an agreed upon lease renewal with a rent increase, which resulted in their tenancy becoming month-to-month as well as hundreds of dollars in lost revenue. Once I confronted him with the evidence and asked to see the lease, he stopped responding altogether. I wrote Tom one last email, giving him a chance to clarify and possibly rectify the situation. He has not responded to my email to this day. I therefore cannot recommend Tom Rotella to anyone looking for a reliable and dependable property manager.

The store is cozy and the staff are great. Kathi greeted me warmly and answered all my questions, showed me multiple offerings: what kinds of blinds did I want, how did I want them to work, etc. I chose the kind that close either up or down so you can have partial views when you want, but utmost privacy. I made an appointment for Bill to come and give me a free consultation at my home. He helped me determine the best treatments for my windows, including colors. He could have pushed for the most expensive, but he did not. Pleased with the offerings and estimate, I paid my down payment and waited eagerly for my new blinds to arrive in 6-8 weeks (due to the pandemic). Once they arrived, Bill had all of the blinds installed in no time. He did all three floors in under 2.5 hours. He made sure I understood how they worked and answered any questions I had before leaving. I am beyond thrilled with the work that he did. Worst experience ever!…read more We purchased a fairly new house and Patrick agreed to paint the interior before we moved in. Time was of the essence. There were many nail holes from pictures and curtain rods that were to be spackled and then the walls were to be painted. Patrick worked for a few days and said he would call the next day to schedule a time to finish up. We didn't hear for him for three months! The poor quality of his work left more marks on the walls where he had spackled the holes than had he just left them alone, and he did just that! He missed many holes! His attitude and work was well below par and we could never recommend him.
