This office is 10min from my house so I thought I would see how long the wait was for non-appointments. To my surprise, I was in and out in 1 hour! Note: I filled out the application and uploaded my documents online, showed up 5 minutes before opening, and scanned the QR code for a line position the moment I got inside. Also, the lady at window #1 was both pleasant and helpful so I'm not sure why this place gets such a bad wrap! Go early, come prepared, follow directions, and be respectful for a smooth process.

After waiting the required three days, I attempted to request a replacement, but the system would not allow me to do so. That experience alone was already frustrating, which led me to visit the office in person today. The first employee I spoke with was direct and helpful regarding what I needed to do. However, my experience changed once I was sent to window #21. The employee assisting me there was rude, unclear, and difficult to communicate with. She handed me paperwork without properly explaining the next steps. She was wearing a mask and speaking very softly, making it difficult to hear or understand her instructions. When I asked what I was supposed to do with the paper, she simply pointed me toward the computers without giving clear guidance. Afterward, when I got back in line and asked additional questions for clarification, she became argumentative instead of helpful. I eventually asked for her employee number, and she gave me "C5." I mentioned I would take a picture, and there was no issue with that. Overall, this employee would greatly benefit from additional training in communication and customer service. Customers come in already frustrated at times, and clear, respectful assistance makes a big difference. Other than that, it wasn't a long line to be seen, which gave star.

They now have people check in via QR Code which helped expedite the process and the security guard was extremely helpful in communicating that information as well. They had an A Frame with directions and passed out a directional paper too. The process went fairly smoothly and the gentleman that assisted us was in good spirits as well as the lady in the section where she got her picture taken. You have to be in a certain positive mindset when going to the DMV and that we did. Overall, I think this was a good experience for the young adult on how to handle things on her own next time.

So I do, AAA advice to call fastrack pay and get an Abstract letter. With that I will be able to go to go to the DMV and pay my registration. I got the abstract letter in the mail I get in line at the DMV. I called to window 3! I give her my resignation and the abstract letter. She tells me I don't need that you still have citations showing. So I said well all of the citations showing are here in the paper and like the paper states show this to DMV! She said nope! That paper means nothing to me! She asked me if I wanted to pay my registration so I said yes!!! She moves on to tell me she can't give me a sticker till the citations are removed. So I asked her. Ok if I get pulled over I can just show that I paid correct. She said naw you will still get a ticket because technically you have not renewed your registration! At this point I'm irritated and I need this paid. I pay my registration. She hands over the papers. Call fasttrack and they are saying they have no more citations for me to pay! That the DMV should have taken the abstract letter as to why they always send for that same reason! What's the point of having all this technology if the DMV can't event communicate with fastrack to verify you have paid the tickets!

On my first visit, I waited in line only to be told the computer systems were down. One month later same thing happened after waitinh in line not to mention I took time off work, drove 20 miles, and waited again -- only to be informed that the systems were down for the entire day, with no estimated time for resolution. In today's environment, it's reasonable to expect some form of communication, whether through a website update or alert, before customers take time off and travel to the office. A simple notification could prevent a great deal of inconvenience. Additionally, a more professional and empathetic approach from staff would make a difficult situation easier to accept. I hope the DMV can improve both its communication and customer experience moving forward.

Finally after the guy at the window couldn't scan for an appointment #, he gave me one. The wait thereafter was only about 15 minutes. I was there a total of 1 hour due to lack of direction by staff. Service as good as it gets!! I made an appointment here to renew my drivers license as I had…read morefavorable experiences in the past. Today was perfection. I got the check-in text exactly 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Immediately I was sent to an open window where a DMV employee was waiting. She politely and quickly led me through the fingerprint, onscreen application review, renewal fee payment and vision check. After handing me my interim license she directed me to the photographing station where another polite agent snapped my picture. And then I was done after spending a total of only eight minutes! Re-registered my car from out of state on Thursday 6/11/2026. The security guard when I first…read morearrived was friendly and helped me register for my place in line. I loved that I was able to wait in my car for the inspection. Inspection went well. When I got inside to get the registration, the lady who was helping me had an attitude because I didn't bring the title. the agent I chatted with online didn't say I needed to bring the title. Eventually she was able to register my car with a "golden registration". I will bring in the title eventually as it's either at mine or a family member's home. I definitely recommend going early in the day when it's not too crowded. Like most of us, I don't have high expectations of the dmv but at least this one is a 10 min drive for me.
