After 5.5 hours and $350 + tip, my gray hairs in the front were still completely visible--the main reason I came in. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.

Over time we were able to find the style I liked and have been able to return for continued services. When I was getting married she and her staff helped with our hair for the engagement photos and as the big day came, she was not able to provide the service based on scheduling conflicts, though she was able to refer/recommend and amazing person to do our hair. The most concerning issue was the lack of cleanliness. The photos I've included were taken during both the initial appointment and the follow-up visit, and they show visible dirt, smudging, and buildup in client areas (walls, baseboards, and stations). This clearly was not a one-time oversight, but an ongoing issue. There were also concerns with tools being taken from drawers and appearing to be reused without clear sanitation, which added to the overall discomfort. On top of that, the results themselves were not satisfactory and required a return visit, which still did not resolve the problems. When I reached out to the salon to address this and request a refund, the response was not solution-oriented and instead required repeated justification. For a salon at this price point, basic standards like cleanliness, sanitation, and quality should not be in question.
