I love what they are doing with the program to get more people eating whole, fresh foods. If you are on food stamps (SNAP) and are willing to make a small effort, one can come near to doubling your benefits. Basically every $20 spent on a daily basis for foods other than fresh produce will result in a $20 coupon for fresh produce. The key is to shop and keep you purchases as close to $20 as possible. Most cell phones include a calculator. I make of list of what I need, I check sales ads to see if anything I need is at a sale price and make my purchase, then I keep my fresh produce separate (note: packaged salads that contain cheese, nuts, dressing does not count as fresh produce) but go for all other fresh produce. And if you don't see it out, don't hesitate to ask for assistance; they get new deliveries all the time. After eating 4 pieces of the pizza, I realized I was still hungry. And this measly thing wasn't going to do it. Very disappointed. The flavor is all there, but just no toppings to mention. Oh and I saw two or three thin mushroom slices. The atmosphere was great; it was cool inside and darkish. Around 3Pm early afternoon on a Wednesday.
