Ive been to Kendal's just for their Chicken Fried Steak and it was a wasted trip! We have a better one at the Copan Truck Stop in Copan Oklahoma! Not only is the Chicken fried steak as good or better than any in the state but it's served by Copans most beautiful wait staff that are as friendly as they are pretty. Don't order a full order of Onion rings unless there is a table full of friends or you may bust your gut trying to eat those delicious rings by yourself! Get a half order and share them with your dinner partner. Large portions! Great food, service, and prices! Only downside....no phone service for most carriers and no WIFI! read more

One of the few places down in that part of the country that actually has fresh prepared good food. I was very satisfied.

Great food! Very good prices too. Drove by tons of times and finally stopped in. I wish they were 247!

We stopped there during the 2021 100 mile garage sale event. And we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We had chicken fried steak with black-eyed peas and mashed potatoes and a buttered bun. We also had a plate of onion rings! The meal was very good! A bit of a downside, it may be because of all the people doing the garage sales, was the service was fairly slow... But otherwise we would recommend this restaurant for the people to stop in! read more

All our neighbors in Bartlesville told us about this hole in the wall, so we had to try it. We ordered the country fried steak, came with mashed potatoes/gravy and a salad. My husband said that it was the best he had ever had. The breading on the steak is what makes it. Light and crispy, same as my chicken sandwich, which was also wonderful. We shared 1/2 order of onion and they were light, crispy and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be a regular. read more

What a pleasant surprise! My wife heard of this place from a co-worker. The prime rib was delicious and at a great price. The place was so good that we came back for lunch the next day. Onion Rings... Oh My! Chicken tenders were amazing. It is just really delicious diner food that comes with a smile by staff. We were very impressed. read more

This place actually blew me away with how good it was. They have a big menu and serve breakfast all day. They make homeade pies as well. I will definitely be coming back and eating here again. read more

Copan Truck Stop - Pork Chop. Absolutely delicious - Convenience Stores Near Me - Copan, Oklahoma

Avoid this place. The waitress said sorry "I forgot your order take this pie for free instead" and that was after I waited for half an hour for my lunch order, my order was not a pie, it was lunch time. read more

Best onion rings on the planet; our party of 3 good eaters had trouble finishing a half order. Excellent, delicious skinny-crispy burgers, best chicken fried steak around (either as a sandwich or meal with mashed potatoes and gravy-- I've done the testing all over the area, this is the best!), huge, delicious pork tenderloin sandwiches, club salads packed with meat and cheese, and amazing, piled-high orders of fried chicken livers . I've heard they have great prime rib (and a line waiting out the door for it), specials, and pie, but I've never gotten past my favorites and never had room for dessert. Giant-sized glasses of sweet tea or soda, endless coffee, and omg Ruth's yeasty rolls come with the dinner specials (just take some rolls and butter to go-- you'll thank me). Super staff, comfy place, don't be surprised if the lunch crowd is full of cowboys and cowgirls with spurs and cowboy hats on, in addition to the truckers and vets sitting at the communal liar's table. Full disclosure, it's not our local favorite for breakfast (I only tried it once, so no expertise on their breakfast options), and it's not diet food, but who cares? I hope to go there next week and find the quality and friendly atmosphere unchanged, even with all the challenges of keeping restaurants afloat in these times of staffing shortages and supply chain issues. read more

I am a truck driver and I like a good chilli burger with extra onions. . This is NOT your place to eat a chilli Burger. So, when I rate food, I do the 2 Q's quantity and quality. I rate this a 1out of 10 n quantity. Reminded me of a cheeseburger at McDonalds with a large fry. I rate this a 1 out of 10 for quality, folks this was not chilli , not sure what hey used, reminded me of a thick sloppy Joe mix, with a pinto beans. So, if your looking for a good open faced chilli burger that will fill you up, keep driven. But, the people were nice and the place was clean, maybe the other food on the menu was good. Haver a great trip and be safe !!!! read more
