Little arena hidden in Pointe-Saint-Charles. Lots of free skating options. Unfortunately most of them during the week when grown up people work. We went on Sunday for the session between 1pm and 3pm. Surprisingly there was no charge for the free skating. It was not busy at all, of course majority of the skaters were kids and parents, and in general the skating crowd was very nice. The ice is nice too, not necessarily perfect, but I would say quite good for people practicing their skills. Parking around is a little bit difficult, but there is a single street aside, where all the arena visitors seem to try to occupy a spot. For the record my skating practice involves beer as a reward for the effort, unfortunately the local bars Knox and Chez Dallaire are opened a little bit after 3pm on Sunday. Cute Aréna du cartier - it looks like a new ice and facility that was recently renovated. Perfect for amateur hockey or adult hockey, but there isn't too much open around for a coffee or food. Note: There is the cute Café Bloom. read more
