When we picked them up, neither item had been properly cleaned--it honestly looked like they hadn't been touched. We left both pieces again, with the stains re-marked. On the second pickup, only one item had been cleaned while the other still had the stain sticker on it, untouched. The cashier casually said they "probably thought only the blazer needed cleaning," which was frustrating given how clearly we communicated the issue. We left the second item yet again. After the third attempt, we finally received the item back. At that point, I called the owner to request some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he became defensive, talked over me, and began yelling. I ended the call after telling him that was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and very disappointing customer service. I won't be returning

My wife brought in 5 pair of my pants to be hemmed -- something I've had done here many times before. The Arya employee measured the pants, and my wife even offered to leave a sample pair to use as a reference. The employee declined and said she didn't need the pants. The pants were dropped off on January 5. After three weeks, the work still wasn't done, and I hadn't received any call until the end of the third week. When they finally contacted me, I was told there were "measurement issues" and they weren't sure if what they recorded was correct -- after three weeks of having my pants. When the representative read the measurements to me, she said they were 34 1/2 inches. That immediately raised concerns, since the pants I brought in are a 32x30. There's no logical way the length could be 34 1/2 inches. I went in the next day, and she measured the sample pants in front of me -- from the waistline instead of the inseam. I had to explain that pants should be measured from the inseam for hemming. At that point, it became clear there was a lack of basic knowledge regarding alterations. I hoped that once the mistake was identified, it would be quickly resolved. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I received another call the following Monday with continued confusion about the measurements. Since the seamstress was on-site, I left work to go in and straighten everything out. The seamstress explained that the employee who helped me was new. By the time I finally received my pants, nearly four weeks had passed -- for a simple hemming job that should have taken a week to a week and a half. While the seamstress herself has always done good work and was very apologetic, the overall handling of the situation by the employees was unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was no meaningful effort to make things right. I was charged full price and only given two $5 coupons for the inconvenience, after the expressing my dissatisfaction with the customer service and lack of knowledge on the part of the employee-- after nearly a month of delays, repeated errors, and lost time leaving work to resolve their mistakes. There was no value here, financially or in terms of customer service. This experience ultimately broke my trust in this business. There were multiple opportunities to correct the situation, and none were taken. While I've had good experiences in the past and appreciate the seamstress's prior work, this last visit cost me significant time and frustration. Given how expensive tailoring already is, I can't justify continuing to deal with this level of service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

On the day of the funeral, I discovered that the blouse was still full of oil stains that never been there before-- and the alteration wasn't even done! When I went back to confront them, instead of apologizing, the staff argued with me until I mentioned that I used to run the same kind of business. Any professional cleaner knows that silk easily shows oil stains, so there's no excuse. Their attitude toward customers is unbelievably rude and unprofessional.
