Many meetings were had with her and response of updated changes were lengthy in time. If you are on a rushed timeline- do not recommend. We even drove an hour and a half one time to try and have changes done quickly and in person but still ended up waiting weeks for the revised set of plans. MULTIPLE times what we received back was complete opposite of what was discussed during our meetings. I do not know if there was poor communication between her and Jimmy as far as what we wanted but it was very evident what we discussed was not even fixed. After ~6 months we got the final plans. Now in the building process, our builder has encountered MANY issues as far as measurements, layout not working, etc. Thankfully is is able to adjust. I would do your research thoroughly before going forward with this group.

The level of incompetence and lack of communication displayed by this company is truly appalling. To begin with, I entrusted them with a time-sensitive project, expecting them to meet the agreed-upon deadlines. However, it quickly became evident that punctuality was not a priority. ***Their incompetence caused a 5-month delay for my project. *** What was even more disheartening was the complete lack of communication. As the days turned into weeks and weeks into months. I reached out multiple times seeking updates via Honey project, email, and phone on the status of my project, only to be met with silence. Communication was ignored and calls were repeatedly sent to voicemail. It's astonishing how a company can be so negligent in keeping its clients informed, especially when they are failing to meet crucial deadlines. After 60 days they blamed the delay on the Architect for ghosting them. However, if you look at their previous reviews you can see that "ghosting" customers is a common theme. The project was finally handed off to an Engineering firm as they could not fulfill my project requirements as agreed in the contract. Take a look at previous reviews and you will see the majority are spam, falsely boosting their rating. After asking for a refund, it took nearly two months to receive it. First, they told me they would mail it out. Then three weeks later I followed up by email and they claimed they didn't have my address even though it was on the contract. After another two weeks I had to drive there and demand a check. If you are being ghosted by this company or they are failing to refund your money you should take the following steps- 1. Demand a refund within one week via certified shipping with tracking 2. Contact the Hanceville Police Department, 203 Bangor Ave S.E, Hanceville, AL 35077 , (256) 352-9811 and file a report for Fraud. 3. Then contact the Cullman County District Attorney and file a report with them- 500 2nd Ave SW, Cullman, AL 35055 (256) 736-2800 In conclusion, my experience with Elaine Roberts Drafters and Designers was the most disappointing and frustrating encounters I've had with a service provider. From missed deadlines to a complete absence of communication, they have proven themselves to be unreliable and unprofessional. I strongly advise potential clients to think twice before considering them for any projects, as their track record indicates a severe lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. If you have doubts send me a message and I will provide dated screenshots with evidence of their malpractice. P.S. If you look at previous reviews, you will see that it is their response to reviews challenge and discredit negative feedback. Find another designer and leave this one to sink their own ship!!! Afterwards the sprinkler heads were not functioning correctly and underground pipes were leaking. I called seven businesses trying to get someone out to diagnose and fix my dad's sprinkler problems. I left a message with Veteran's Landscaping & Irrigation and received a call back within 30 minutes. Mr. Davis agreed to stop by my dad's to check out the sprinkler and leaks. Mr. Davis diagnosed the problems and came up with an itemized list of hardware needed to repair my dad's sprinklers and leaks. He was on time and reliable while working in my dad's yard. The neighbor who caused the problem watched as Mr. Davis was able to fix my dad's sprinklers and leaks and asked Mr. Davis to fix their sprinkler issues once he completed my dad's work. My dad was very pleased with the work Mr. Davis did. Dad had miscellaneous greenery growing in his backyard that he hired Mr. Davis to remove. Another great job performed by Mr. Davis's crew! Dad was very happy to see that area of the yard cleaned up. My mother-in-law had old overgrown shrubs from 1972 in her front yard that I asked Mr. Davis to look at and provide an estimate for removal and replanting of bushes. He provided a reasonable fair estimate and my husband asked him to do the job. My mother-in-law is thrilled with her beautiful new front yard. The plants selected by Mr. Davis look awesome!!! If you are in need of landscaping or sprinkler repairs, please give this veteran owned business a call. Mr. Davis will do a great job for you.

Came out right away, assessed the problem and made a great repair!!! There's something to be said…read moreabout the small business hard working companies!

Firstly, this business is a drafting business. I don't feel that I had any dealings with an…read morearchitect. I was planning an outdoor patio extension to my home. They claimed that using google earth a reasonable design could be simulated. I paid the project price and had the work done. The final product was unusable and took nothing into account with respect to the terrain topography or current structures. This was a waste of our time and my money. I hired a real landscape architect firm, paid twice what they charged, but they provided a usable solution.

We hired Creekside Designs to redesign the facade and garage-side of a house we were building after…read moreour home burned down. We purchased blueprints from a third party and although we loved the interior layout in the plan, the exterior wasn't quite to our liking. This led us to search for a design firm for assistance. The list of deliverables Creekside Designs promised was well thought-out, thorough, and impressive. The owner, Jimmy Parker, he did a very capable job of anticipating my needs as a first time semi-custom home-builder. The initial conversation with Jimmy Parker left me with a sense of enthusiasm we finally found the right design firm. I was dead wrong. Creekside Designs refused to respond to any questions about the status/progress on the project after receiving my initial deposit. Zip. Zero. Zilch. We agreed the first round of designs would be delivered 5-7 days later. After that deadline passed, I did everything I could to motivate them to reply so I knew where we stood. Didn't work. Weeks passed. I got a whole lot of Nothing. Ironically, Creekside Designs escalated the PayPal dispute process. The irony is they HAD BEEN PAID and failed to deliver *anything* that was promised (including the courtesy of a reply to inquiries about progress). In their "dispute" Creekside Designs made multiple false claims - all of which were easily proved as lies and deemed as such by PayPal - in their response to my allegation they accepted my money and failed to deliver the services promised. They fabricated conversations which never took place, explanations that were never provided, acceptance of hourly rates/fees to pay them for partially completed work, agreements to extend the deadline, etc. There was absolutely NO email or phone records supporting their outrageous claims. The conversations referred to weren't present on a cell bill, no email trail, nothing to support the litany of lies they offered PayPal. It took PayPal very little time to discover this was a fraudulent transaction and refund my money. BOTTOM LINE: Be very careful if you make the mistake of conducting business with Creekside Designs and/or Jimmy Parker. They may do amazing work (I'll never know since I never received any design work from them). Perhaps more bothersome than not receiving the work I paid for was how Jimmy handled the situation. Not answering the phone and failing to return calls or emails that he then escalated to fabricating stories about alleged conversations and agreements as he tried to convince PayPal he hadn't broken our agreement - which he had (and PayPal affirmed). [NOTE: I am NOT surprised Jimmy Parker claimed to not know the other reviewer and was dismissive of the feedback. Dishonest business practices appears to be a systemic problem at Creekside Designs, I'm in Atlanta, GA, and I'm happy to provide the PayPal transaction ID and Dispute Case Number - which I won - in the event Jimmy Parker claims no knowledge of this assignment as well.]
