When I drove to the address on the letterhead of the bill to pay it, it turned out to be a residential address and nobody was home. This struck me as unprofessional. When I called to get some clarification, he made it out like I was the stupid one for...I don't know...trying to actually pay my bill? After winter, I called three separate times to have them come back over and help with an issue. Each time, they promised they would, but they never showed up. I ended up having to go with someone else even though this is a Rain Tree system. They have lost my business for good and I would recommend using someone else to start out with.

He did a great job explaining all of the issues; we didn't know anything about drainage systems prior, so we were really grateful that he took the time to answer all of our questions. We were also highly impressed with the quality of work and kindness of the crew. We feel like they did a thorough, high quality job, and our yard looks so much better. Before, our yard was constantly wet and had many bare spots where grass wouldn't grow; now, our yard stays much more dry, and the grass has grown back. They also adjusted our sprinkler heads and verified that our sprinkler system was functioning properly and not contributing to our drainage issues prior to starting the job. The system operates well and provides excellent coverage. The only concern I had was that crew asked if they could place a small pile of clay from the front yard into a flower bed that I was digging out to replace the plants to which I agreed. Apparently there were more piles of clay in other areas of the yard that I did not see, but which they also placed in the flower bed, leaving me with at least 6 inches of clay covering 3/4 of the bed. As a 66 year-old widow, to dig this out was too much for me so I called the company to ask if they would come back and remove the clay. I was told that the office manager wasn't sure there was anything they could do about it. When I asked if the crew would've had to remove the clay if I had told them they could not put it in my flower bed and the answer was yes. So, I stated that it was obvious then that they could come back and remove the clay. The office manager relayed a message to me that they would call me the following week, "if there was anything they could do." I have never heard from them again.

We still love the design, but the lack of quality started to show through on some of the work. The drainage that they created backs up and creates more of a mess than it was to start with, the plastic edging they used has snapped in several places leaving a breach in the mulch to the gravel, and several of the plants they planted died. We contacted them, given that the work came with a guarantee, and were so, so disappointed in their response, or lack thereof. To get a response I had to google search to find the owner's email address. This did get a response, but never a resolution. They made excuses that they couldn't figure out where the edging was purchased and therefore couldn't replace it. When I pushed back they asked me to help compensate the replacement because it was expensive. Needless to say, they never stepped up to make things right. In fact, they just quit responding. In a nutshell, they are nonresponsive and don't stand behind the quality of their work. The guarantee that comes with the work is completely worthless. Avoid working with this company if possible.
