If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would…read more Clifton Auto truly saved the day for my family. And I can't say enough good things about them. My parents are quite elderly (my dad is 94), and there are some extremely sharp turns getting into his parking garage. That is ONE bad combination! Their car sustained lower door damage on both sides from poor maneuvering these corners and continuously losing battles with the garage's concrete pillars. I drove with them to the downtown Audi dealership where they recommended getting four new doors for over $10 thou. YIKES. My dad's car is old but barely has any miles on it, and it drives perfectly. Just the lower half of the doors are messed up (one side was way worse than the other. The driver's side just had minimal dents and scratches. Still noticeable, though). Spending 10,000 on an older car for aesthetic reasons only seemed unreasonable. And my dad rarely drives the car, too. So we all decided, this solution was not reasonable for this car, for the way my dad uses it. My folks then drove around NDG as my mom remembered passing an auto body shop in her travels. Upon returning home, my dad said the place was super "shady". Sounded like a backyard operation. No way would he stop there, not even for an estimation. I told him, hey, let me do some research on Yelp and ask around, and I'll find a reputable auto body shop where he can get one more estimate and then decide if it's worth it to fix the car there, or at the dealership, or not at all. I found Clifton Auto on Yelp and the reviews, though few in number, were all stellar. And it's not far from my folks' condo. And they have great operating hours. And they've been in business sine 1982. I had a good feeling about this place! So we went there and was greeted by Pahreeve (I know I am totally misspelling his name, and I apologize in advance!). And he was phenomenal. Been in the biz for ages. Looked at my dad's car and said he can't guarantee they can fix the doors to 100% perfection, but he can get them to 80%. (My dad and I really appreciated his honesty here. We don't like surprises). We were quoted a price of $3000 and a lead time of approx. 10 days. My dad and I thought this reasonable, and paperwork was signed. My dad brought in the car a few days later and, sure enough, it was ready for pick up 9 or 10 days afterwards. I just spoke to my folks yesterday and they are THRILLED BEYOND WORDS, saying the car doors look PREFECT. Clifton Auto fixed them to 100% perfection, and they said they'd never even know there had been damage on them. There are zero indentations and the paint job is flawless. It looks like new. Thank you, Clifton Auto, for working your miracles and saving the day. You made my elderly parents so happy.

It's rare that I give a one star review, this can't be more than the third time, but I was just so…read moresick of the way I was treated at this dealership that I have to write about my experience. I've been interested in the Kia Soul EV for some time, and when I checked Kia's website, they referred me to this dealership for a test drive. I called the dealership and told them which car I was interested in, they told me I could come for a test drive but they wanted me to come in first to have a discussion with a salesman. That should have been my first warning. This all happened on a Saturday afternoon last fall, near closing time. I rushed over to arrive before closing, and when I got there I was told the salesman was busy and I'd have to wait. OK, even though they asked me to come in. I waited for about 30 minutes of nothing. Finally a salesman came out and tried to sell me the regular gas powered Soul. I made it clear that I was willing to hear about it, but the reason I came was specifically to try the electric version. That's when he told me that they didn't have any electric vehicles. I was understandably unimpressed by this waste of my time. I asked to speak with the manager, who told me that they don't have any EVs on stock, but I could make a $500 down payment and order a new Soul EV, which they would build and deliver, at which point I could test drive it when it arrives, and if I'm not satisfied I don't have to finish the purchase. I wouldn't call myself a car sales expert, but this sounded pretty fishy to me. I declined that particular offer, and they tried to convince me that maybe if another customer orders the car, I can come and test drive their car. Also strange. The salesman finally took me out for a 15 minute test drive of the regular gas Soul, so I could see what it was like. He spent 10 minutes in the driver seat telling me about the car, and left me with a grand total of 5 minutes actually driving the car myself. I made it as far as Devonshire and Royalmount, then right back to dealership, 2 KM total. Very (un)helpful. I normally try to bring a balanced perspective into my reviews, and play devil's advocate, but I haven't heard of any positive experiences at this location, and other reviews I've read elsewhere online seem to indicate a pattern. I hope they change their attitude, because they're giving Kia, and car dealerships in general, a really bad name. Then again, most car dealerships probably already have a bad name.

I do not recommend. I had to take my car in 3x to get the front passenger side door to not jam…read more Then 3x to get the same window fixed (it wouldn't go down). Then this spring I got my tires changed there and they forgot to tighten the front tires well. So here I am driving on the Hwy w my child when I notice my tires are making strange sounds. Thankfully I was near my home. My husband checked out the tires and got very angry saying "you're lucky the tires didn't fall off on the Hwy and kill the two of you" Deadly bad service...literally.

Short: Be prepared for more than one visit to get a quality finish... Check the work done in detail…read morewith good lighting. Long: My insurance company sent me to Fix Auto as it was one of their preferred garages. Fix Auto didn't do the best job on some simple body work repairs (dent in the fender and broken bumper). When I got my car back I noticed drips in the clear coat, a new bumper with paint over the excess flash (excess plastic from molding of bumper that should have been trimmed before paint), damage to the new bumper before I even picked up my car, and support parts broken/missing from behind the bumper! They finally returned my calls to resolve the issues. After my first visit I was disappointed. Update: after the revisit to address my issues with the repairs and paint, the car looks great and this is the quality of work I was expecting in the first place. All in all I'm satisfied with the repairs done after the second visit. Just disappointing I had to chase after them to do the work the way it should have been done to start with.
