Cute and small. However the maze inner circle I thought was KoOlBeAnZ. Right near the needle in front of the pop museum that is closed :( on Wednesdays Free..

    Playground structure.

Our kids love this park, especially our boys. The climbing structure is very large and unique! A must to come see for families touring Seattle.

Highest Slides in Washington State! But is it the best playground? Not exactly. The playground infrastructure is geared more towards kids older than 5,but that didn't stop me. I went up to the top with my 3 year old. Check out my videos attached to this review. The ladder is enclosed so just go right behind younger children and you can enjoy the very tall slides! The playground has swings but lacks play amenities compared to amazing parks like Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park Playground. There are bathrooms in the building just North of the playground. And it does have swings, just not quite as much going on as some of the other amazing parks around Washington. A parking lot is located next to the park although it isn't cheap, you will spend over $15 for 2 or more hours. All in all, this park is worth a visit, I just only go when I take my 3 year old son to the Seattle Children's Museum right next to it.

Top 5 playground of my kindergarteners life: has climbing, huge slide, lots of spinning, and swings. Great for tourists with 4yo and up. Right next to space needle, museum of pop, and children's museum. (all of which have free public restrooms). Plenty of bench seating around the free public playground for parents to watch the kiddos get their fun in and energy out. Psa: Feels like it's a lot of older kids favorites too because we saw a lot of 6th graders and junior highers taking recess there. Some were not as careful around the younger ones while climbing. Daughter was climbing pretty high up and an older kid stepped on the rope causing the rope my daughter was holding onto to slack causing daughter to drop. Luckily daughter caught the next rope, held on, and swung to safety. Be ready for heart palpatations. Also be careful with the disabled swing, not sure how safe it is due to older kids' abuse of it. I saw so many bang their heads everywhere and even fall out of the seat because they were pushing it so hard.

Open park and free to play! lots of things for kids to play and plenty of space needle views! parking is nightmare, you will need to get paid parking in nearby parking stations.

This is the playground. I wish I had as a kid! This place is so much fun. I was able to indulge my own inner child, something that I'm rarely inspired to do. It was fun watching the grands run around and have fun. I wish we had something like this in the Bay Area. I did the labyrinth and thought that I'd have to stop, but there was so much to keep them busy, that I was able to finish it. I'll post more pictures at some point, but being outside with all of that joy was a blast, and I'd come here just for myself. I'd like to take a tram ride and go up the Space Needle. Standing on the mounds was fun too, I wonder what the history behind them is. This is a place for kids of all ages.

Artists at Play is a gathering place where local families and tourists unite. Located near the Museum of Pop Culture and the Space Needle, it's easy to miss due to all the iconic Seattle spots nearby. However, if you have young kids, please don't miss it. The playground itself is big with a 30-foot climbing tower, two large slides, swings, music-making machines, a labyrinth and more. A few things to note: 1) Shade: There are several benches under the shade. It usually doesn't matter in a city with lots of rain, but in July and August, it does. 2) Hand sanitizer: During the pandemic, most people follow the rules of masking, including young kids. There are hand washing stations and hand sanitizer throughout the playground. 3) Confidence-building: The 30-foot climbing tower looks daunting, but it helped build climbing skills and confidence in my four-year-old daughter. If you have kids, definitely spend time at this large playground in the Seattle Center.

One of my favorite playgrounds for kids ages 3 upwards. The climbing structure is the best part of the playground - all with the views of the Space Needle and MoPop. In summer it's even more fun as it's a 3 minute walk to the International Fountain where kids and adults alike can cool off in the water during the summertime as there isn't much shade at all in the playground. Public bathrooms are next door in the Armory. It's all paid parking being next to a major tourist attraction but if you pay street park it's a lot cheaper than the paid parking lots.

A great playground with many options for kids of all ages and interests. Musical pillars, as well as a rock garden with the opportunity for more music making. An in-ground merry go round, small play structure for littles and a huge, complex one for the slightly older or more risk-taker kids. Small, turf mounds to sit on, slide or run up and down. A cool maze that can help keep busy ones interested for a period of time. Close proximity to The Armory for food and beverage breaks, MoPOP for some Seattle music history, the Children's Theater for an entertaining, live show, and more!

This play ground is amazing. It was definitely on my bucket list and I'm so glad I got to bring my grandson here. So much for children to explore and do, play and make new friends. It does get busy with lots of children and out of towers. Tip. Put bright colors on your children so you can spot them right away. Back again for a second time, grandson had an awesome time with all the different activities that they have here. so we brought him again so he can play because there is so much to do. Definitely a must when Visiting Seattle. I full days of play and exploring.

When I was at the Post Office, mailing some postcards, the friendly clerk suggested that I go to Kerry Park to view in person, the city skyline as depicted in these postcards... OK! My niece was surprised at the size of "the park". It seems to be more like a strip of lawn instead of a park. Well... we were there for the beautiful view of Seattle and were happy to get a free parking space on the street! There also was an interesting steel sculpture called: Changing Form. It's 15 feet tall and can be used as a nice frame to photograph the Space Needle and its surroundings!

The viewpoint is thoughtfully designed so many people can line up against the railings without too much trouble instead of photographers trying to jockey for space. If you didn't bring binoculars, there's a few coin operated telescopes to help you look at things in the distance. There's also a cool statue here if you're interested, and if you go down the steps there's a small playground. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone use the playground though, since there are no bathrooms associated with the park and small kids can have bathroom emergencies. There are businesses nearby where I guess you could technically ask to use the washrooms, but it's just another hassle. Note: street parking only.

It's really cool that there's a lot of chickens and Vanny so you can just go up and play with as well as all the little structures in playground and stuff . I will say one of the most offputting things was while we were looking at the chickens. Some woman next to us was kind of talking about the park, not being open to the public and going on and on about it. I may be thinking too much into it although she was talking to someone else and right next to us, but it did kind of seem like it was directed towards us. I would just recommend checking in public hours as the other hours are for the preschool attendees.

We came during Christmas break so there was no one there. After an hour of play we did see about three other families playing all wearing masks. My toddler loved running around the place. There were chickens to say hi to and a cool red truck he could sit in. The musical instruments were fun for him to bang on as well as jumping on the balls and hill. There is actually a basketball court right next to it so you could actually bring older kids and have a game. Wear rain boots as it can get a bit muddy during the winter months. Highly recommend coming here for great imaginative play.

Woodland Park is more than 90 acres and takes up a few blocks in the Green Lake and Phinney Ridge neighborhoods. A lot of outdoor activities to do here. There's baseball fields, a dog park, and trails. Cool history about how it came to be. It's been around for a long time and the neighborhood pretty much grew up around it. This was originally the estate of lumber mill owner Guy C. Phinney. After he died it was bought by the city. In 1902 it was turned into one of the city's parks. Basically the park has two halves. The eastern half has baseball fields, a dog park, horseshoe pits, lawn bowling, a picnic area, a pitch and putt golf course, a skate park, and trails. The western half has the Zoo. In 1925 a memorial was erected for late President Warren G. Harding. Just a couple years earlier he made a speech here to the Boy Scouts. It was one of the last speeches he made before he died. The memorial was later demolished, and the site is where the African Savanna exhibit is today. Of course there's many animals to check out here. The rest of the park also has many birds as well as beavers and coyotes among other species. Getting here by a bus is a good idea. It's got a few that go up Fremont Avenue and the other streets. The most popular thing here is the Zoo but there's plenty of other things to do here like playing baseball, jogging, and whatever.
