Very helpful. Good quality furniture and very good customer service. We have purchased numerous…read morepieces of furniture from this store over the past twenty years we have been in Florida as well as recommended friends to various sales people. They have always been helpful and stood by their products

I have done a fair amount of business with Norris. However, I will no longer do so…read more First, I ordered a cocktail table from the floor. When it was delivered, it was a different table that had been sitting elsewhere, and the white pearl-like top was now yellowed. Norris apologised and took it back. It took over a month to get a refund after several inquiries. Second, I ordered and paid for custom drapes for a window. Two days later, I found that we may be relocated and tried to in the cancel the order, but was told it was too late as the material had already been ordered. When I asked to have the material shipped to me anyway with the thought of using it in the new location, I was told they were able to cancel, but I had to pay a restocking fee of $529 (this amount included cordered material that could not be canceled that arrived TWO weeks later). Third, I ordered a console after seeing one I liked in the store. It was a custom build and took four months to get. When it arrived, the paint was unevenly applied and looked as if it had been sprayed on, dripped down, and coagulated on the bottom of the doors. This made them look dirty (see attached pic). Norris sent a tech out to try to repair the look, but was unable to do so. I was told it was an artifact of the color I selected, which was different from the floor sample, which, of course, was pristine. There was no offer to refund or replace the item. All of these activities took place in the spring of this year. I have delayed posting a review to give Norris time to reflect and correct, which they have not done. On the positive side, we ordered custom-made kitchen table and chairs, which we are very happy with, as well as a living room carpet. So, I suggest that anyone who deals with Norris be alert.

Clive Daniel Home - Interior

Clive Daniel Home

I went in to Clive Daniel Home about two weeks after it opened. I have been waiting to see if I…read morereturn, in order to write a review. Sadly, my three stars are for my first and only time in. I wish I could say that I've got a home that needs furniture, but I don't at the moment. That's not to say it wasn't fun to poke around the store and dream, because it was really laid out nicely. It made me pretend to pin stuff on an imaginary Pinterest board. The honest not so fun part is while walking around, I felt like this place is true from what neighbors say - it is posh living: stuff too exquisitely priced for people looking for everyday items with lesser value than half the price of a new car. Although, I DID like some of the artwork, even if they might have not been on sale. My pocketbook thanked me by not purchasing anything, as there are custom items located within the building. So what was good, what was bad? The good: You're greeted by someone at a front desk and then a sales person might find you in another section and offers you a drink (seriously... mimosa? Beer? Water? How about a cookie?) and the adult you are shopping with accepts the orange juice and champagne combo, where else can you go besides slowly peruse around the store? While we are still on staff, they weren't bothersome. As I travelled the different sections of Clive Daniel, there was no rush to be sold anything. Occasionally someone would stop us and ask if we needed anything, but we primarily were just browsing. I think the staff realized that when we weren't going right up to pieces and checking them out. We may have been on a mission to look and not touch, but it also was calming to know there's no one down your throat to make a sale. The various departments of the store made you envision what the item could look like in your house, and that was nice. Pieces weren't completely on top of each other nor were they so stretched out, you felt like you needed another drink because you were getting dehydrated from walking. The cool thing is there's a chef's corner in the back that this location does private events with (as the building was previously Winn Dixie and Sweetbay prior). The bad: The price of some of the items. It's not horrible for those looking to outfit their million dollar home or do an upgrade from what Ian left us with, but you have to have a specific budget for it. I'm sad I don't, but it truly was an experience and it made me see what type of things I could buy if I help redecorate a place with no limits on anything.
