There is a Nice One Nails salon right across the road. They charge $5 less for shellac manicure. I decided to try this one to see if a 5 dollar extra charge would be worth it. It turned out that it was not. The first shellac nail chipped off on the 2nd day. I went to the salon & they kindly fixed it. However, on the 5th day the second nail got peeled off! Shellac manicure, if done properly, is supposed to last at least 7 days! I had it done at some salons, and it lasted 3 weeks. read more

I was in desperate need to get my shellac manicure removed and to get a fresh new mani! Through this handy service called Yelp I found this place, it was on my way to work and the prices were very fair. I called to see if they had availablity and they told me I could walk in. They removed my shellac easily and pain free, and without having to dunk all fingers in a bowl of acetone (as another place had me do). I chose Grapefruit Sparkle as the colour and had a nice time getting my nails did! My favourite thing about this place was the UV lights - they are BUILT IN to the mani stations! If I'm back in the area in need of a mani I will go back! read more

I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. I waited about 5 minutes which is normal as it was a bit busy. The girl doing my pedicure was very young and amateur. She missed a lot of steps during my service. I walked out with crooked nails as they were not filed correctly, my feet were not buffed properly and it seemed like I was rushed. There was spots of nail polish left on my skin and polish missing on my nails. Save yourself the headache and go to a proper nail salon. I will not be returning. read more

My mother had an appointment here just today. A coworker had suggested it to her because of its "good price." Not even worth it. They took two and a half hours for a mani/pedi, sliced her heel open with a straight razor, and one of her nails is already cracking. Do not go here. read more

The customer service is horrible and I find that they do a very fast and crappy quality job compared to all the other salons I've been to. And it's a few dollars more expensive than all the other places. I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact a lot of my friends have stopped going there. read more

I've been getting some form of artificial nails done for over 20 years and this was the worst, most amateur job I've ever had done, and I've had them done by actual amateurs!! I went here on a Friday morning. The staff was nice and friendly. Up to this point I had been growing my natural nails for months yet she turned around and clipped them to put on white tips as using the white gel would "take too long"!! When I left there was gel still on my skin and nail beds and my nails looked like a child had done them. The very next morning I woke to cracks and lifting!! It just got worse and worse. When I went to speak with them they fought me, tried blaming it on MY choices, refusing to give me my money back - oh sure she offered to "fix" them but no freaking way was I letting them touch my nails ever again!!! I know I may be one out of a handful but trust me and my experiences - this is the absolute LAST place you should go for any kind of esthetic services!! read more

The worst nail salons I've been to. I went in for a mani-pedi and had a man do my feet. As he was cutting my toe nails he shaped them to be on this weird 45 degree angle. Not something I has requested since I have a naturally nice square shape. As he was painting them I could tell he is in no way a nail professional: I had polish on my skin, he did paint my nail with a straight line from the cuticle, he basically looked like I had asked my inexperienced boyfriend to paint my nails. He handed me off to an other man to get my hands done, when he asked me to pay before finishing my hands, I told him I was not happy with my pedicure, he completely dismissed my complaint and told me the other guy had to cut my nails like that so I wouldn't get ingrowns. What a load of crap, I've never had an ingrown nail. Awful customer service. read more
